Gikishou took him to the room and tucked him in under the covers. He turned off the light and joined him, wrapping the boy in his arms to heat him up.

Kyo curled up, now feeling the cold. How long had he been in the shower? And how long had he been in icy water?

Gikishou rubbed his back, still working to warm him up.

Kyo soon began shivering, though by now he wasn't as cold. It was nothing more than a minor chill by now.

Gikishou kept rubbing his back and such to finish warming him up. "Sleep well, Kyo." He said, the rubbing turning into a gentle massage to help Kyo sleep.

Before he knew it, Kyo's eyes were beginning to close. He let out a small yawn and was soon still.

Gikishou smiled. His body curled around Kyo securely, and he fell asleep on his own.

Kyo woke up in the middle of the night, now feeling vey warm. For a moment, he wondered if he was sick again, but he didn't want to wake Gikishou up to check.

Gikishou stirred, his head now pressed to his neck, rather than by his hair. Holding Kyo like a teddy bear, he relaxed with indistinct mumbles. He was breathing through his nose, so each exhale made his breath ghost over Kyo's skin.

Kyo shuddered pleasantly and attempted to go back to sleep. They should probably check in the morning. If he had gotten a fever again, it probably wasn't going to kill him over night.

The next morning, Gikishou woke up to see the pale column of Kyo's neck. He smiled at the sight and kissed his collarbone lightly before getting up. "Kyo, it's time to get up."

Kyo opened his eyes again and he uncurled himself. He was no longer cold, and he didn't feel like he had a fever. That must be a good sign.

Kyo nodded. "Yes, much better," he answered cheerfully.

Gikishou kissed him lightly. "That's great." He went downstairs to make breakfast. Today was friday, so they would finally be able to stay up late.
