Right after Sirius left Lily came in with James. "Hey Remus. I wanted to see how you and the baby are doing."
"We're both fine. Sirius just left to get me some lunch."
"I kind of figured but I also thought there was a chance you two got in another fight."
Remus rolled his eyes. "No we haven't fought today."

"James, why do you always jump to the worst," Lily sighed. "I'm glad you're feeling okay, Remus. Are you going to be here all day?"
Sirius came back soon after with a plate full of raw, uncooked meat. "Here you go, love. Plain meat. There was still some left in the kitchen."

"Yeah Madame Pmfry thought it was best." Remus' mouth watered when Sirius came in with raw meat. "Thank you so much. You're the best." Remus started eatting it as soon as Sirius gave it too him. Though he did remind himself first to eat it with silverwear and not his hands.
James made a face. "How can you eat that stuff?"

"He's a werewolf," Sirius pointed out nonchalantly. "He can do that."
Lily smiled, trying not to laugh. "Hey. Where's Peter? Doesn't he usually follow you three around, too?"

Remus smiled and kissed Sirius' cheek. He shook his head at Lily's question. "Nah not when I'm in here. He never vists me."

Lily frowned. "That's rude. Aren't you his friend? He should be with you when you need the support."
Sirius shrugged. "We've come to accept it by now. Peter's a strange one, and we just leave him be."

Remus lauhed and rolled his eyes. "You're important too James. Now hand over the chocolate before you lose your hand."

Sirius laughed. "Yeah. You're important for the chocolate, James," he teased.

James laughed and gave Remus the chocolate. "It helps a lot that i'm important to you." James hugged her back.
"He's important for more too. You're still the most important though Siri." He nuzzled him and finished his lunch.

If Sirius was honest, watching Remus eat raw meat made him feel sick, too, but he never said anything about it. It was necessary for Remus's survival, so Sirius just put up with it. "What I don't understand," he muttered as a continuation of his thoughts, "is how you can eat chocolate after eating raw meat."

Remus had a feeling Sirius was just thinking to himself about his taste for raw meat. "Because love I don't have a tooth brush hear and I have a feeling you don't want bloody kisses." He chuckled and munched on his chocolate. If Remus didn't want to be able to give Sirius kisses he'd let the tate of the raw meat linger in bhis mouth. He really did love the taste of it. Though he did try and be considerate of his friends and eat it when he was in private.

Sirius smiled and sat back down on the bed, propping Remus up again. "You should get some more sleep, love. Sunset's not for another several hours. You should take advantage of that time."

"The only reason I got sleep before was because Pomfry slipped me a sleeping draught. I probably won't fall asleep again before sunset." He kissed him softly and rested his head on his shoulder.

Sirius sighed but didn't argue.
"Besides," Lily put in. "We can all hang out together. I've always wanted to see a werewolf transformation."
Sirius grew serious. "No, you don't. It's a painful, loud experience and dangerous, if you don't know what you're doing. You would be in danger if you stayed."

"Yeah I'm sorry Lily but I wouldn't let you do that. Sirius is right it's very dangerous."
"I've come to close to attacking someone already. I'm not going to let it happen again."
