Yep. A lot of Japanese words and pronunciations are evolutions/borrowings from Chinese characters. Kanji, in essence, is pretty much Chinese characters.

During the exam though... nice writing didn't help much with writing speed. >.<

So sads. D: When it comes to doing state tests, sometimes I tend forget where I am then I start writing in Japanese, Korean and sometimes even Russian. > u>;; So far, I've needed to retake 5 WASL's. D:
