Tsuki stretched a bit more, rolling his head around his shoulders. "If you want to go swimming, go ahead. Don't let me stop you" He then reached into his bag and pulled out two bottles of water and placed one next to Akira before opening the other one to take a sip. "No, it's not that. I don't really have anyone like that." When it comes to things like love and relationships, he hasn't really explored those areas since moving to the city. At least, he's never really thought about it.
Akira twisted her lips and faced front once again. It wasn't really the reaction she was looking for. "Thanks." She took a sip from the water bottle that he gave her. "You know what would be good for sore muscles?" She closed the bottle and placed back the bottle of water back on the cloth before standing back on her feet. "Meat! Lots and lots of meat! But first..." She removed her dress, revealing her one piece swimsuit. "I gotta go swim! I don't know what happened but sometimes muscles need to get used to it. You sure you're not up for a swim?"

Tsuki tilted his head a bit at her reaction to his answer. "Well, I don't know if meat is what's needed to soothe sore muscles but it certainly gives you strength." He watched her as she removed the dress, which revealed a bathing suit underneath as expected. "Swim to your heart's content. I'll join you in the water in a bit."
"Suit yourself"Akira shrugged, placing her hat over her dress. When people day that either there's a high chance that they're just trying to be polite. Either way that wouldn't stop her from getting some excercise. Doing a few stretchings first before sprinting towards the sea. As the male suggested she plans to swim to her heart's content. She doesn't care if the there might be a storm coming. Fighting the waves would only make it more enjoyable.
After a few minutes submerged in water, she finally resurfaced looking back at her friend from the shore. "He might end up like Haru so its fine." She said to herself before swiming towards one of the big rocks that looks like tiny islands a few meters from the shore. She pulled herself up, leaving her feet still soaked. She just needs a short rest before she does another set of laps.

Etana tapped his chin after recalling his encounter with the Dobhar-chú while the woman before her thought it over "Ah! There was also that time another warrior and I faced down an army of Fear gorta. I never did get his name, but he was a fine gentleman and handy with a blade." he seemed quite content to tell his stories even when she may not have been listening "There is also that time with the Queen of Fairies! Great in bed that one, but tried to trick me into being a sacrifice to hell. Bah! Sent them back all the heads they sent to collect mine." it seemed he had a lot of stories, and a lot of adventures under his belt. He was definitely the adventurous type of course his body did not seem that old, but she had already noted he was not a normal one.
He snapped to it when she mentioned accepting his invitation. An invitation he had yet to lay out in the midst of his reminiscing. It seems she worked at the place he was planning to go. He looked down at her a bit as she seemed to be trying to work her feminine wiles on him. Well, that was quite the temptation and luckily.....he was not the type of man who would reject even such an obvious manipulation. He smiled "Aha Beleti, I admire the spirit you needed only ask if you wished to join me on an outing." she said and began to walk having no intention of changing his clothes. He didn't need to, or care to.
"Come along then new friend! We shall head into the city for a meal and then you shall show me your workplace." he whirled his finger about. He knew a few places to go get something to eat.

Tsuki watched her as she ran out into the water but is also keeping a close watch on a possible storm. If a storm were to suddenly start, the tides and currents would get a lot more violent so he had to be ready in case something happened. After a short while of watching her, he finally stood up. "Well, if resting isn't what I need, maybe I just need to open up my muscles." After a brief set of stretches, he finally made his way into the water. The water itself was pretty cool. Not too hot but not too cold either. Of course, the tides are pretty mild due to the storm clouds above them. He then noticed her sitting up on some rocks so he swam up to her. "Tired already?"

For just a moment she got a little nervous when he mentioned the Queen of the Fairies, but he seemed to be wrapped up in his own thoughts and probably hadn't noticed. Still, she didn't like mentioning that woman if it could be helped. It seemed like he had a lot of stories, and she would love to hear them all, but maybe over a drink or something rather than standing out in the middle of the beach in the rain. She gave him a coy smile when he complimented her spirit, "shy and demure went out of style a few seasons ago. Any woman who has been around for a while knows you have to put yourself out there and take risks. Plus food and alcohol are some of my favorite things, so no way would I miss out on such an opportunity. Keep being such a dear, and you might get to experience one of my other favorite things." She doubted she would be allowed to enter stores or anything in just her bikini, so she quickly slipped on a short low-riding denim skirt and a sheer blouse that she kept unbuttoned. She quickly slid in to a pair of flip-flops, then walked briskly to catch up to him. Honestly she didn't look any more dressed, but apparently there were laws and stuff that said this was how she had to look in order to be served or something. She linked arms with him so that he was basically escorting her wherever it was he intended to take them. "Don't know about you love, but I'm absolutely famished. And this body has got more storage than it looks. I imagine someone as fit as you is probably the same way. Guess what I'm getting at is unless you want to fork over some major money, might I recommend we try someplace that has a buffet or is cheap?" She had very carefully made sure she did not make it sound like she was paying for herself, because honestly she didn't have much money. It was all up to him.

Averi. What a beautiful name. Lola couldn’t help the fleeting moment where she wanted to fawn over how well the name suited her. It was more than just that, it was the ever-present desire to fawn over any pretty girl. It wasn’t the time for that though. With a bit of a struggle she managed to hold her tongue. Instead she let her mind focus on how her outstretched hand was ignored, the woman turning and walking away. She dropped her hand and continued to stand there awkwardly, unsure on her next course of action. Was she not in the mood to talk after all? Did she perhaps scare the woman off with her talking? That was enough to deflate any of her usual outgoing behavior. It was just one of those days for the huldra apparently.
There was only a split second of her debating on leaving before the woman began speaking to her again. A wave of relief washed over her. Oh, good, so she wasn’t being dismissed. But… If she was still talking, then did the woman want her to follow after? Lola wasn’t entirely sure if that’s what she could glean from their interaction but she went ahead and did it anyway, trailing right on after her.
“That’s so interesting! What are some of the things you collect?” Lola was genuinely curious about Averi and what her interest in marine biology entailed. She wasn’t really familiar with what they did so gaining some insight was both helpful and just another enjoyable aspect of their conversation. It especially intrigued her since the blonde was obviously passionate about it enough to hang around by the ocean even while the weather wasn’t very pleasant. She herself couldn’t get sick, but surely she could? Or maybe she wasn’t human…?
Lola watched with awe as her new acquaintance went to pick something up from the sand. “So you work at the aquarium? That’s pretty cool! Maybe I can stop by sometime and see what the fuss is all about.” She didn’t really know much about the ocean at all, despite having flown across it at one point. She was a forest folk and she knew only about the flora and fauna of the land. It may have even been plain to see in her expression as she stared at the jellyfish Averi found. She had no idea what to think about it. “It has stingers?” she inquired with a very worried look on her face. Where were the stingers even located? All she could think of were bee stingers.
When she was asked about her being there she gave a shrug. She fiddled with her dress like a small child as she cast her gaze to the ground by her feet. “I don’t know… I moved in recently and just wanted to… explore, I guess? My feet kind of took me here. The cold doesn’t bother me so I just stuck around.” It wasn’t quite a lie, but neither was she telling the full truth. As happy as she was being able to talk to someone, the dark clouds hanging over her head held on like a vice. Her usual chipper attitude wasn’t able to surface completely.
Now sitting by the edge of the rock, Akira placed both of her hands along her sides, leaning back a little as she closed her eyes to feel some of the raindrop fall on her face. It was a weird feeling at the same time weirdly relaxing. Her feet was lightly flattering against the water. There's no big waves just yet. Somehow that made her a bit sad. "Hm?" She sat straight to see if her guess was right. "Not exactly." Finally Tsuki decided to join in! "I was actually..." Come to think of it, why did she stop by the rock? She still have enough stamina to swim around like a guppy. "You know what never mind. How are your muscles? Think you can swim a few miles?" She would not force him if he can't. Although it would be nice if she can swim with him abit more.
Green eyes looked over to her company, not at all bothered by the questions. In fact, Averi appreciated the fact that Lola was taking an interest in what she was doing. While she didn't go around preaching the need to keep the oceans clean, protect the endangered lives of the ocean dwellers, she did advocate for such things. She particularly loved when people took an interest on their own. Helping with the distribution of facts about ocean life was something she took great pride in because the life of the world was improtant, no matter the area. "I collect all sorts of things! There ocean life, water, plant life..." she answered happily. While she may not have looked it at this exact moment, soaking wet, in overall shorts, Averi was very well versed on the matter. She had been studying marine life well before she started going to school for it, which reminded her to sign up for her courses again soon. There was no way she would get her degree unless she did. "I would totally love that!" she replied with pure excitement. To actually show someone what she did, share that half of the world was exciting to her. Plus, it could be a bonding experience and change someone's perspective. New friend were easier to make when you had something to do that no one else has ever done before. "You could help me feed the sharks," she added, a seriousness in her tone. Despite the tone, she was entirely joking. She only really entered the shark tank when absolutely necessary. Not afraid in the least, there were still dangers; more dangers than any other tank.
Pushing up from the mud, Averi wiped off her knees and inspected her hands for the burns on her fingers. Coming up closer to Lola, she showed the woman her hands. "See how my fingers are starting to swell a bit?" she asked as she looked between her hands and Lola. "The 'stingers' are the long appendages that you see below them that helps thme move through the water, they excrete a toxin that causes so much pain people often call them stingers. There's no actual...'stinger' per say," she explained. Pausing to look around them, the light had begun to fade into near blackness. It was probably time to go home and warm up, maybe take some cold medicine to prevent total annihilation by the common cold. She also needed to treat her wounds as they were really beginning to hurt. "Wanna come by the aquarium tomorrow, maybe? I can give a proper show," she asked as she began to make her way towards the parking lot of the beach.

Slowly but surely Lola’s mood was starting to turn around. Talking with Averi about the ocean was doing a good job of taking her mind off her previous thoughts. Instead she was thinking about what sort of things the woman might have in her collection. Fish? Crabs? Would they be alive or dead? Seaweed was a granted since she had witnessed her picking it up the first few seconds of them meeting. She giggled to herself as her imagination ran wild on what she had possibly already collected.
In the end she gave up and returned to the conversation at hand. She was glad Averi also seemed ecstatic at the idea of her going to the aquarium. It was something she meant to do at some point anyway, she just wasn’t sure when. At the mention of the shark feeding Lola laughed. “Is that even allowed if I don’t work there? Well, if I’m allowed then that would be quite something to have under my belt! Think of it: Lola, the shark feeder!” she mused jokingly.
The act of standing up caught Lola’s attention and her eyes followed the woman curiously as she came closer. She stared in awe and shock at the woman’s hand displayed out to her, the skin irritated and red from the apparent “sting” by the jellyfish. She gave a simple nod in acknowledgement to the question asked of her. “That’s so weird! To think they could do that. But wait… you said it hurts? Shouldn’t you get that treated? It can’t kill you, can it?”
When Averi looked around, Lola couldn’t help but do the same. It was only then did she really realize how long she’d been on the beach. The darkened skies were no longer from just the gloomy rain clouds overhead. It wasn’t visible but it was obvious the sun was setting over the horizon now. Not just that, but another indication was how soaked her clothes were. Although she couldn’t feel the cold, she could still feel the way her wet clothes clung uncomfortably to her skin. It was probably a good idea to head back home and change into something dry and warm. At least that was something she could feel and appreciate. With that decided she began to walk alongside Averi as she headed to the parking lot.
The invitation to go to the aquarium was enough to perk the huldra up. She couldn’t recall if she had ever stopped by the last time she was in town, so it was exciting to have an excuse to do so finally. “I’d love to stop by!” She paused, trying to curb the excitement she felt. She had to remind herself it was just to experience the aquarium. “I mean,” she began again, “I don't want to bother you while you’re working, but if I happen to see you then I’ll be sure to stop and say hi.”

The past few days had been very rough, and he hadn't really had time to take care of himself or spend much time with Kurt. But today would be different. He had spent all night lying on top of the coffin, and spent the morning talking with him. And now that it was fairly early morning and not particularly busy, he was going to catch himself some breakfast. He had discarded most of his monster ways, but he still every now and then got the craving for meat, specifically human. With how much trouble his body had been giving him of late, he figured that a little pampering would be perfectly in line. Before heading up to the shallows, he surfaced out in the deep water, just for a chance to exercise his lungs. He could breathe underwater like a toad, his skin porous enough that oxygen could be soaked in through it, but even he had his limits. Usually after about eight to ten hours, he would surface to take a few quick breaths, stretching out his lungs and saturating his body with oxygen, before diving down once more. If he was going to catch breakfast, he would need to be ready to fight and stay under for a long while: some of his prey had been known to be tricky, but he always managed to catch them in the end. Once he was good and ready, he crept into the shallows, waiting for some unsuspecting fool to step close. When they did, he would grab on to them and drag them into the deeper waters and hold them down there until they finally drowned. Drowned human flesh truly was most delectable.

Even with the weather being as horrible as it was today, that still did stop the half-Siren from going out for a damn swim. While the average human wouldn’t even dare to step foot into those rough seas, it was nothing more that a small training session for her. It was a chance to test herself against the brute force of the waves and raining waters that came from above. Was it necessarily a smart decision? Probably not, but it wasn’t like this was her first time swimming during a storm. There had been plenty of times as a child where she had trained herself to ride the tough waves in her hometown. Of course, after getting tossed back onto land time and time again, her father had to eventually step in to action to intervene her reckless actions. Now that she was far away from home, there was no one to stop her this time.
Stepping onto the wet sandy shores, Mi-Yeong didn’t see a soul in sight. Good. No one to stop her and no one to watch if she were to get foolishly tossed back onto land. The woman began to stretch first before she darted out towards the sound of the crashing waves onto the stormy sea. Today she was going to try to push herself to her limits. The moment her skin touched the briney sea water, light blue and aquamarine scales and fins began to appear on her limbs, fingers, toes, and ears. While she didn’t gain a strong fish-like tail like most sirens had, the strength of her legs would have been enough to push herself though the waves.

For what felt like forever, there was absolutely no one out. Made sense, there was a bit of a storm going on, which most people found not conducive to a day at the beach. As he was about to give up and actually spend his money on something other than booze, someone was dumb enough to come out into the water. The chop of the sea and the rain above would make it harder for her to swim, as well as hopefully blind her a bit. The help was unnecessary but appreciated. He waited just a little longer for her to come into reach before he struck out, grabbing her ankle and pulling her with all of his might deeper into the water. He hadn't noticed the scales that appeared on her as soon as she entered the water, he was too busy sizing her up and figuring out what he should eat first. Even if she was a good swimmer, this was his home and he had been swimming these waters for nearly eighty years now; he could find all of the little hidden caves and grottoes that would help hold her down. Plus, what were the chances that she could hold her breath longer than he could? He had only had a little bit of time to use his lungs, but he probably had a good six hours or so that he could stay submerged without the need for air. All he would have to do was keep a tight grasp on her and keep her tangled up until she eventually succumbed. "Looks like you picked the wrong day for a swim, Fraulein. Don't worry, this will all be over sooner than you know it." He couldn't help but taunt her a little bit, it usually worked to make them more afraid, and the fear was so delicious.
