"They were very interesting fireflies, though," Kyo said, almost as if saying some words of honor at a funeral. "They were all unusually smart... and expressive."

Kyo tensed a little when his neck was kissed, but he didn't say anything. For some reason, the gesture was strange yet pleasurable at once.

"Were you disappointed?" Kyo asked, wondering if maybe he shouldn't have reacted. Perhaps Giki-san had really wanted to... Possibly move their relationship up a level.

He sighed and hugged him. "A little, but not with you. I'm not in this to just have sex with you. I love you. I'm trying to gradually move up to showing just how much I love you, affection-wise, but I'm not going to go beyond what you're comfortable with."
