@MojinR: I'm almost scared to hear what....but let it out!

Lol! Nothing really. Just finding a woman that thinks on my same silly wavelength, and that can bring the sarcasm, loon, and the pervert out in me and just have a grand old time. Able to have entire conversation through stares, mumbles, and non-sequiturs.

And hearing stuff from a non-blooded related woman that I don't have a romantic relationship is actually pretty fun.

I haven't gotten anything out of the ordinary, besides Langer, from the daily chance. Maybe I'm on the crap list too!? xd It does seem that when I log in consecutive days that the items get better though. On the other hand, it seems like every time I haven't been on in a while, it gives me 50 gold on the first one.

@ MojinR: Isn't it a great feeling when you click with someone!? The beginning of a relationship can give you such a natural high. It makes phrases such as "head on the clouds" and "walking on air" real meaning. Even though I've been married for what seems like forever, there are still moments when I get those "I love you so much I could just squeeze you 'til it hurts" thoughts; when the sky seems particularly blue and the whole world looks brighter. It's great to fall in love with your best friend.

How is it that in a world with an ever increasing population, we can feel all alone?

@ Vengence: I like black jack too. But sometimes I think the dealer is stacking the deck. (At first when I read your post, my dyslexia must have kicked in, because I read "Jack Black" and I was thinking, yeah, I like him, too, even though he is quirky.)

Did anybody start a diet for the New Year as part of a resolution? Just thinking about dieting makes my mind rebel, and I haven't even started yet!

Just finished making a digital antenna and it seems that the only good way to get the stupid dtv signals is to have a rooftop antenna at at least 15 ft up.... Unless your on a 2 floor house or an apartment complex. Even like that an amplifier is still needed...... Boy how else is the government going to take money away from us.

Just wait until they pass this new stimulus package, they'll get a lot more out of you in the way of new taxes, then they'll give it to all those dumb things that do nothing to stimulate the economy.

I didn't start a diet per se, but I'm trying to work out a bit more, it's especially easy with Wii Fit.

@MojinR: I'm happy that you're happy. It's great when you're with someone, even if it's not romantic.

I haven't had to worry about this DTV thing since I already get cable.

I don't think that we will get new taxes but Im very sure that they are going to raise what ever taxes we have right now like crazy. Instead of that stimulus package they should just plain out create more jobs and raise minimum wage and give it about a year and things will stat to get back to normal. Not just that nut from what I have seen, company's need to start to weed out the lazy people that are just there wasting time and bring in more people that are committed to doing there jobs.

I don't know where our Puritan work ethic went, but it seems like a majority of people show up just for the paycheck and don't care at all about a job well done,... which of course makes it harder for those of us who do! It'd be nice if more people lived with the mentality that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Idle hands, playthings of the devil? Well, all I know is that if you keep yourself occupied with something worth while, there's less time to stress over things out of your control, and I like that! Maybe employers need to work more on motivation instead of simply demanding productivity. I don't know what the solution is, but it is painful obvious that many people don't give a sh*t about their work, putting their energy more into inventing elaborate excuses to get out of it and other ways to do as little as possible while staying on the pay roll.

Yes, but those who do work well, outshine everyone else. Yes, I agree there should be weeding out, more than there is being done now. How did the auto industry fail? Union. That's all I have to say.

I'd be willing to pay more taxes if that's what it takes to get our country back on track. As long as I have food in my belly, gas in my car, and enough to pay my bills with a little over, I'm happy.

If we were to pay higher taxes that would not get our country back on track. When we start to pay higher taxes that will just hit us harder because we have to flip the bill for the stupid bail out. Not just that but we are spending Millions for having troops in the wrong area looking for someone that is in another area. The government like to waste out money thats all. In other words

Yes higher taxes causes economic meltdown. It's simple math. The founding fathers understood this and that is why the constitution says that the people will not be directly(income) taxed. That is one of the reasons we became a wealthy nation in the first place.

To get us out of economic problems the government needs to run the way we would run our own households. First cut taxes, then prioritize spending on the most important thing first and working down the list, and lastly only spend what you have, when that's gone there is no more spending.

If we would just go back to the original constitution, the one our founding fathers wrote, not the one that Washington has mutilated for their own interests, maybe this country could get back to the way it used to be. My Bible says that "if a man doesn't work, then he doesn't eat", maybe we should get back to that too, then the welfare would be done away with and people would be responsible for their families like they're supposed to be and that would take a lot off the middle class that supports the majority of the country.

Welfare food stams and all that other crap need to go away. I see young people around there 19 and they get thousands of dollars a year because they had a kid. Not just that but they get housing and other benefits as well. And where dose all that money come from, Our pockets and well earned money. Its a shame as well because my grandmother went to apply so she can get some food stamps and what they gave her was just a disgrace. She received 8 dollars a month for food stamps, while lazy a** kids that don't want to work or support there family's are getting 1500+ a month. Where has all the real help gone now days.

Also the issue with people that get a large amount of help are the ones that spend hundred on beer, cigarettes, and other pleasures. The government needs to get more strict and remove the help from those who abuse of it and give it to those who need it.
