Dotty had intended to reassure Piper with the idea that pokemon weren't being trapped here somehow, since they'd otherwise be held here in the forest, but it seemed she was only making things sound worse. "I-I mean... Yeah, no that actually sounds pretty bad, but we haven't seen anyone else here, and I mean... If this is some kind of nightmare, it's not too bad, because we have each other, don't we?" She suggested.
They talked about different ways to potentially test whether or not this was the dream world, and Piper had some good ideas, but they had more important matters to take care of first, such as the shadowy figure lying in wait ahead.
Of course, not long after she'd noticed that, the others seemed to slowly wander farther ahead than Dotty was comfortable with, and as Dotty struggled to keep up, she felt like she was falling more and more behind until Piper and Ai called out to her. The moment Dotty heard their voices and saw Ai's red beacon, she went zooming towards them and ended up ramming right into Piper's wing. "W-waugh!!! U-uh... S-sorry Piper.... Thank y-you both...." Dotty squeezed her eyes shut and stuck close to the noivern and espeon for a moment, terrified of the thought of being separated and alone in such an environment.

All these theories and metaphors regarding Darkrai were maiking Xiao Lan's head spin, even though she was really trying her hardest to pay attention this time and participate in the conversation. All she really understood was Beltigre allowing them to call the team whatever they wanted as long as they represented the torracat well in the end. "Yes! One hundred and TEN percent!" She insisted enthusiastically. That was a thing people said when getting pumped up, right?
Though, as they approached an archway with shadowy figures ahead, Fianna and Daiki seemed to step up to the plate to try and fight off whatever it was, Fianna asking Beltigre and Shade to watch her while she went ahead to battle. "Huh...? W-wait... N-no!" She liked Bel and Shade, but the thought of Fianna going on ahead and not knowing if she was going to be okay made the little noibat zoom ahead courageously to ensure she was at Fianna's side.
"I'm going with you!" Xiao Lan insisted. She knew she wasn't all that strong, but she was determined to help protect Fianna and do her best to assist the Braixen if she could. "Stay away from my Fi Fi you mean ghosties!" She found the nearest drifloon and quickly attacked with a bite.

Rafflesia watched as Allure attacked something obscured by the mist up ahead, warning the group that the foes weren't ordinary opponents. She seemed genuinely confounded by the fact that her attack perhaps hadn't been as effective as she'd expected, but this was the dream world, and the rules were different here, so this didn't really surprise Raf.
So naturally she threw Argo's flute into the archway and suggested to Noah that they aught to get "blueing" as he called it. The otter seemed dissatisfied with the match up initially, given their opponent looking so flimsy, but as more and more began to appear, he seemed to change his mind. "Oi, didn't you hear what Allure just—" Nope, he was already charging in. "Arceus damn." How did she end up on a team of idiots? Well beggars couldn't be choosers. Or in Raf's case, she took the laziest path towards getting on a team and therefore couldn't complain about who she got lumped in with.
In order to save Noah's a**, she glanced to luna. "Keep an eye on that damn bird for me, will ya?" She asked before lumbering in after Noah past the archway. After he lashed out with his shell, she added a power whip in for good measure and the balloon pokemon made a pathetic deflating noise. "Careful otterpop. Ya can't just go charging in without a solid strategy or ya might get hurt." She insisted.

Despite her warning, the Dewott with the funny speech was quickly to launch his own assault on the the Drifloon. Perhaps this one didn't know what pride meant, and perhaps she'd have to reiterate what it meant to keep ones pride in check. Thankfully, the water rodent wasn't alone, as Raff aided the otter. Allure in the mean time had her own problem to deal with. The Drifloon before her had barely moved an inch.... as if it were paralyzed in it's spot. Perhaps she had it wrong. Perhaps it wasn't the ghost that was odd, but another force that made the ghost impervious to her attack. Of course the fact that this wasn't the real world was still somewhat lost to the dragon. Regardless, she saw but one more option in order to secure passage to the staircase. Straightening up her tail, she hoisted her hind quarters to the side, swinging her long skinny tail at the balloon Pokemon. As it made contact the ghost showed some resistance, but in the end it flew off somewhere in the distance. "A way is clear." Allure mentioned more so to herself. Looking back she noticed Argo fly overhead. Raf and Noah were together... but where was Luna? Torn between advancing or staying to collect the helpless eevee tore through Allure's head. She decided on the prior, but only slightly. She advanced to the staircase and that was it, from there she would wait for the rest of her team mates.

From the start to now, Mogwai had certainly made some strides. Daphnes watched and listened to his accidental companion go from fearing to fight to being a willing protector. The dragon certainly had a way about him didn't he? Even still when it came to their opponent's reveal of being some odd floating thing, that reminded him of a Balloon, Mogwai seemed to feed off Daphnes speech all to well. The bear in it's willingness to be a protector swung his mighty paw, surprisingly slamming the odd Pokemon to the side, as if it were but a toy. "Good hit Mogwai!" Daphnes called, rushing forward, the dragon held up his stick. "My turn!" Bounding from the earth the dragon caught a part of the balloon in his maw. With a forceful bite the balloon Pokemon made a sound akin to a balloon losing air. Was... was actually a balloon the whole time? Spitting the ghost free of his maw, the tiny dragon Looked up at Mogwai. "Now is our chance to progress let's make haste!" He called. Indeed with the defeat of that Drifloon the path to the staircase was open.

Huffing for a moment after her use of the static electricity stored in her tiny body, Radium peeled open her eyes when Vivace spoke up. "U-uh" The mouse wasn't sure how to responde. Her pride had twisted her tongue for the time being. Even still the mouse watched Vivace then waved her stubby arms side to side and a faint white smoke from her mouth soon followed the odd dance. Whatever the Togepi had done, it worked. The Drifloon made a fairly pathetic sound as it seemingly deflated before them, leaving a gap tiny enough for the two of them to easily pass through. It was only as Vivace took hold of her paw and called to move, that she recalled their team mates. "B-buhhaa" She was already being dragged away. For being a baby Pokemon like herself, Vivace certainly had some strength to her... she certainly hadn't been kidding about being able to hold her own was she? Not after they started moving Vivace mentioned the others being able to catch up when they reached the top of the stairs. Well, that was true.... but she still felt bad initially for being such a scardy mouse and forgetting all about them.

☆ ☆【Piper couldn’t help but grow increasingly nervous as Dotty explained more of the logistics behind Darkrai’s abilities, suggesting that the only means it would be able to imprison others would be by preventing them from waking up from their bad dreams. The idea of being possibly stuck in a nightmare forever sounded like a fate far worse than death, though the Duosion attempted to reassure her. She agreed that the notion of it sounded pretty bad, pointing out that they hadn’t seen anyone else here so far that could potentially be an inhabitant of the dream world. However, even if this was some kind of nightmare, she suggested that it wasn’t too bad because they had each other. ”Y-Yeah… I’m g-glad we were able t-to come together, e-even though the s-situation isn’t the m-most ideal,” Piper agreed with a timid smile, feeling her nervousness ease up a little, ”I’d m-much rather be with y-you guys than h-have to go this a-alone.” After all, the only thing worse than being in a strange place that she knew nothing about was being alone in a strange place that she knew nothing about. And all of her teammates, Dotty, Ai, Radium, Vivace, they all had their own share of qualities and ideas that they contributed to the team as a whole and were proving themselves to be very pleasant company thus far. Perhaps someday they would be able to see each other again after they escaped this place, to meet under much better circumstances and spend some quality time together as friends, hopefully… She nodded in agreement as Ai suggested that they be ready for anything, there was no telling what lay ahead of them in the thick fog until they got there.
As much as she would’ve liked to continue talking with Dotty about how they could prove that this place was in the dream world, it seemed they had more pressing matters to attend to as they came upon a strange stone structure. Shadowy figures blocked the way to a large stone staircase, which was obviously the way they had to go if they wanted to continue progressing forward. Pokemon were already splitting off into groups to enter through the archway and the foggy barrier separating them from what lay beyond, some going through in pairs or small groups while others chose to go alone. As Radium and Vivace stepped forth to go through, Ai warned that it wasn’t wise for them to split up again, though in spite of it the two of them went forward and disappeared through the misty wall. It was then that Dotty’s voice called out from behind them, causing Piper to tense up as she turned back and called to the Duosion, not having realized just how much she had been lagging behind. Ai called out as well, flashing light from the red gem that adorned her forehead like a beacon to guide their teammate towards them. ”I-It didn’t s-sound like she was th-that far behind us,” she quickly answered Ai’s question, squinting through the heavy fog around them to catch sight of their other Psychic-type companion, ”Sh-She should be able to c-catch up pretty eas- Oh!” The Noivern was cut off midsentence as Dotty suddenly came barreling out from the mist with no time to try and slow herself down before she rammed into the bat dragon’s wing, causing her to recoil a bit from the suddenness of the impact more than the force of it, as she was quite a bit larger than the Duosion. Dotty quickly apologized for accidentally running into her, thanking the both of them for helping her.
Piper frowned as she noticed by the way Dotty closed her eyes and stayed close to them that she was frightened, reaching over and wrapping her wings around the Duosion in a gentle embrace. ”H-Hey, it’s o-okay… You’re o-okay, alright?” she said softly in an attempt to soothe the other’s frayed nerves, noting how oddly pleasant the jelly-like slime that Dotty was encased in felt, ”We w-wouldn’t dream of l-leaving you by y-yourself, friends d-don’t leave friends behind, r-right?” She warbled soothingly in reassurance, carefully letting go of Dotty after a few moments more of hugging her and offering a warm smile. Of course, she could sense the nervousness coming off of Ai, there was still the matter that Radium and Vivace were a bit of a ways ahead. It was likely for the best that one of them go in to try and catch up with them, even though they seemed capable of taking care of themselves they were still very small and could easily get lost. ”Ai, p-please stay and accompany D-Dotty for n-now, I’ll go on a-ahead and t-try to catch up w-with the others,” she said with a hint of pleading in her voice as she looked between the two Psychic-types, giving a small, meek smile, ”I’ll w-wait up for y-you both on the other s-side, I promise~” With that said, she gave a nod back to them before she turned around and stepped forth into the mist, glancing back as the barricade rolled in, obscuring the sight of Ai and Dotty still outside. Looks like she would have to go it alone… and as much as it made Piper nervous finding Radium and Vivace was far more important. She quickly took to the air, the structure thankfully having enough room to allow her to fly about with no issue. ”R-Ray! Vivie! Wh-Where are you g-guys?” she called out, golden eyes frantically searching among the dozens upon dozens of Drifloon and other Pokemon duking it out below to try and find their tiny teammates.
Suddenly, there! She could see the Pichu and Togepi making their way towards the top of the stone stairs, and seemed unharmed for the most part much to her relief. Piper dipped her wings to maneuver around and make her way over to them, hoping to catch up to them before they were lost in the rabble. ”W-Wah!” she yelped as a Drifloon suddenly materialized out of the mist in front of her, blocking her path and giving an aggressive cry as it dove right for her. On instinct, the Noivern swept a wing out in front of her, generating a great gust of wind that battered the little balloon Pokemon and sent it flying back a good several feet. ”Ah, s-sorry!” she hastily called out, unable to help but feel bad for just suddenly attacking it like that. But… she had to, right? The only way to get past this thing was to defeat it, and sure enough the Drifloon wasn’t down for the count just yet as it came hurtling back towards her again with an annoyed whirring noise. Piper steeled herself, preparing to strike once more and hopefully defeat it for good so she could pass through. These little ghosts seemed fairly weak and hardly put up much of a challenge given how easily other Pokemon were beating them, though the Noivern felt somewhat bad for having to strike at such a seemingly otherwise harmless opponent. Still, it was trying to attack her, so it seemed she had no choice but to fight back to the best of her ability.】☆ ☆

A new place… Mystery Dungeon Mogwai spies a new friend! Daphnes
☆ ☆【Upon seeing the Ghost-type opponents they would be going up against in order to get through, Mogwai felt his doubts flare up again as he tried to assess the situation. Even if he were to attack them, he had no attacks that would otherwise be able to affect them, his previous experiences with such Pokemon certainly proved that well enough. Still, Daphnes’s encouraging words and infectious confidence let the Bewear push all of that aside for now, right now he had his duty as a knight to uphold! He would be the protector for those who needed to be protected, it was his role as the shield, after all! With newfound determination fueling his gait, Mogwai strode out onto the battlefield as more and more of the balloon-like Pokemon appeared from out of the ether, planting himself firmly between them and his companion to prevent them from trying to harm Daphnes. When one suddenly appeared and immediately hurtled right at him, Mogwai charged forth to meet it head on while he flailed his paws about and roared at it in an attempt to intimidate it and ward it away. Much to his shock and confusion as it drew close enough to be within striking range, his thrashing limbs actually connected with the Drifloon’s rubber-like body and sent it spiraling away like a just tossed football. That… That wasn’t how that was supposed to work! He had fully expected his strike to simply phase through its body harmlessly like it always did, but then why did it…? This strange world was really just breaking his simple minded brain with how weird and increasingly illogical it seemed the more time they spent in it.
He barely registered Daphnes’s praise as he noticed the Drifloon, now recovered from the sudden attack, came whipping back around right for them once more. Giving a low growl, Mogwai stood stalwart as he prepared to strike out again or otherwise be struck with an attack by their opponent. Suddenly, his Bagon companion rushed forward to meet the ghost midway, taking off in a mighty leap and sinking his teeth into the body of the balloon Pokemon and giving it a mean chomp. With a defeated wheezing noise, the Drifloon seemed to deflate as it was completely incapacitated, vanishing in a small puff of black smog as Daphnes spat it out onto the ground. With that obstacle out of the way, they were now free to progress onwards as the Bagon pointed out that the path leading to the stairs was now open for them. Mogwai hesitated momentarily, glancing around as more and more of the balloon ghosts appeared as more Pokemon poured into the room from outside. However, it seemed that they were holding their own quite well, perhaps it was time they took their leave or otherwise be lost in the chaos. ”Maaaaake haaaaaste,” Mogwai growled in affirmation, reorienting his body towards the stairway beyond. On impulse, he quickly scooped Daphnes up into his arms in a way to prevent him from potentially being harmed along the way while also being extremely careful to not accidentally crush his partner in the process. Moving his tree trunk thick legs as fast as he could, the Bewear carried both himself and his Bagon companion towards their destination with almost uncanny speed, ducking and weaving their way through the other ongoing battles as to not accidentally get caught in the crossfire. Mogwai pushed past crowds of Drifloon as they seemed to pour infinitely from the surrounding fog, though the other ghosts hardly paid them any mind as they were more focused on preventing the other Pokemon entering the room from getting through.
With a hop, skip, and a number of jumps, the Bewear and his Dragon-type ally made their way to the top of the staircase in nearly record time. Panting somewhat with the exertion, Mogwai took a moment to catch his breath, only to realize that he was still carrying Daphnes. Whoops! ”Sooooorryyyyy…” he murmured apologetically, quickly setting the Bagon back down onto the ground next to him. All things considered, he probably should’ve asked first rather than just picking up his partner without preamble like that… But there was hardly any time to think when they were under duress, and as the shield Mogwai felt it was his duty to protect those who needed it the most. And that included his sword as well. He just hoped Daphnes wasn't angry or offended at him for, well... picking him up and carrying him around like a doll, basically. ”Moooogwaaaaiii doooo goooood?” he inquired out of both curiosity and nervousness, dithering a little as he fiddled about with his paws, ”Doooo goooood aaaas kniiiiight?” He was still unsure of how to feel about what had just transpired, between the fact that he had actually fought of his own volition and that he had actually been able to strike the ghost when all his previous experiences had nailed it into his head that such a thing wasn't possible. His mind was struggling to try and make sense of it, though he still listened anxiously for Daphnes’s evaluation of his first performance as a knight.】☆ ☆

As soon as Gail felt Ammy's paws meet hers, she bent her legs, letting her slow, then kicking up to spring the pokemon back up into the air, and at the shadowy drifloon. She quickly rolled over and shook herself, looking over as Ammy voraciously bit into the pokemon shadow, and then landed. Gail watched as the balloon seemed to pop, deflate, and then dissipate, before grinning at Ammy. "Hehe! Good job! C'mon, I think we can progress now!" she urged, before bounding forward. She hesitated curiously as the shadows seemed to reveal a set of stairs, then looked up, before slowly trotting up, ears perked and tail aloft as she remained vigilant.

Cling side-eyed Dice at the refusal to comply, but it seemed the pokemon reconsidered, and ultimately, conceded. Cling smiled, light pulsing a bit brighter, for the pokemon's sake. He chuckled as Dice seemed to delight in "glowing" now, though the klow was still pretty sure that wasn't quiiiitte right. Maybe before they got out of here, he could find a way to get the pokemon's wishes to really come true.
Turning attention ahead, Cling tried to stay relaxed, though something was tingling at his scales that told him they were getting close to something. Suddenly, his head lifted, and his sky blue eyes locked onto a shadowy figure up ahead. Static sparked around the pokemon a bit. "... Dice, lift your club up," he urged, his voice a little uncertain at his own inexperience with battling, "I think we're about to have to fight something."
Indeed, as they drew closer, a dark veiled drifloon drifted out, and Cling tensed. On near-reflex, he leaped off the club, wings expanding as he weaved through the air, and, upon drawing close, tucked in. He somersaulted the final distance, water gathering around his tail, and promptly smacking into the pokemon. With grace and care, he completed the somersault and dove for the ground, but snapped his wings out at the last moment, gliding down to slither back onto the ground.

☆ ☆【Fianna worried at her lower lip a little as she listened to Daiki’s explanation as to why he had shirked on his training with Dakota, saying that he never really felt the need to be stronger. After all, his trainer had other Pokemon who were far more capable than the Zoroark himself, and even Dakota could protect himself pretty well. Daiki felt that his niche role in his party was to just use his illusions to escape if things got too out of hand for him. The Braixen couldn't necessarily agree way of thinking as her concerned frown lingered on him for a little longer, she was sure that Daiki could be capable of so much more if he was willing to train and get stronger if even just a little. After all, the fire fox had every intention to make it her duty to grow stronger so she could protect Phoenix and every one of her friends as well. Still, she decided it was probably best to not push any further than she already had, deciding to just leave it there for now as she let her expression soften while she spoke about Phoenix. She smiled warmly as Daiki mentioned that ‘Ducky’ could always use more friends as well, saying that perhaps she and her trainer might meet him if they happened to find their way to Alola. ”Hehe, Ducky, what a cute little nickname~” she chimed in with a soft laugh, ”Well if Phoenix and I ever get to Alola one of these days, I’ll certainly have a ‘little bird’ mention potentially meeting up with you and Dakota along the way. I’ll just have to make sure I keep an eye out for a certain green-haired clown to know exactly who to look for~” At that, she playfully elbowed him with a knowing wink, letting him know that she meant the little jab as a playful bit of humor rather than an insult directed at him.
Directing her attention towards Beltigre as the mention of Darkrai was brought up again, Fianna offered her own two cents on what she thought of the situation as a whole. Their leader even seemed fine with the lot of them calling their group ‘Team Fluff’, so long as they represented her well enough when it came to facing down Darkrai, to which everyone seemed to be in agreeance of. The fire fox smiled brightly at Xiao Lan’s enthusiasm in particular, if the little Noibat wasn’t the mascot of their team already then they really ought to make it so. However, the momentary goodwill among their group didn’t last for long as the scenery around them suddenly changed, giving way to a stony structure with numerous shadowy shapes inside guarding the way to the stone staircase beyond. Already many other Pokemon were starting to move in, going through the misty barrier that separated them from the room inside in pairs, small groups, and even solo. Fianna felt bad about having to split up their own group, and it certainly was far from a wise decision… But they couldn’t just wait around while everyone else pushed on ahead or else they’d be left behind, and it would be harder to continue waiting while Beltigre and Shade were still lagging a bit of a ways behind them. Making a decision to keep going forward, Fianna moved to step through the foggy blockade, promising the others that she’d wait up for them on the other side and asking Beltigre and Shade to watch Xiao Lan in the meantime. After enlisting Daiki to come along since he was fairly close as well, the pair of them moved to step inside to face down whatever it was that lay inside. She could sense his nervousness as they entered, understandable as they weren’t entirely sure of what to expect going into this… However, upon realizing that what had been ominous figures cloaked entirely in shadows were revealed to just be a bunch of Drifloon, Fianna felt herself become more confident. These were pretty weak Ghost-types, after all, hardly anything she couldn’t handle.
Her eyes flitted towards Daiki as he spoke up, saying that this should be within the realm of his capability. For his sake, she sure as hell hoped so… especially considering his apparent lack of training for just straight up combat. As Fianna nodded to him and made to step forth to engage, she blinked as she suddenly heard a cry of”W-Wait… N-No!”come from behind them in an all too familiar voice, causing her to hesitate momentarily. As she turned towards the source of the voice, she was surprised to see Xiao Lan speedily soaring towards them to fall in next to her, the little Noibat insisting that she was coming with her. A pang of guilt struck Fianna’s heart, she should’ve known better than to just leave the child behind like that in the hopes that their other teammates would take care of her until they reconvened. Stupid… Stupid, Fianna! Doing something like that was hardly very big sister-like of her, she should never suggest something that stupid ever again, for her sake and for the sake of the little Noibat that she had grown very fond of over the course of their journey thus far. That aside, she was glad to see Xiao Lan being so brave to come with her, and the tiny bat dragon’s determination was palpable as they entered the mist together. ”Well alright, let’s do this together then, Xiao Lan,” she agreed with a smile and a nod, adopting a determined face as she clenched her fists, ”You, me, and…” Her ears suddenly stood up in alarm as a Drifloon suddenly appeared in front of Daiki, blocking the Zoroark off from the two of them as it flew at him. ”Daiki!” Fianna called out in worry, moving to turn and help him fend off the balloon-like fiend when another one came spiraling through the air at her, causing her to divert her attention towards it instead.
”s**t…!” she swore internally, turning to face towards the charging ghost as it grew closer and closer to them. Seemed Daiki would have to be on his own, though he appeared to be holding off his opponent fairly well from the looks of it. She glanced over as Xiao Lan met the Drifloon who dared to approach them in midair, demanding for the ‘mean ghosties’ to stay away from ‘her Fi Fi’ as her little teeth sank into the body of the balloon Pokemon. It gave a cry of agony mixed in with frustration, turning its ire towards the little bat who had dared to strike at it. ”Nice one, Xiao Lan! Let’s finish this!” Fianna called out encouragingly, though something about this whole thing didn’t make any sense… Considering that Drifloon was a Ghost-type, that Dark-type move ought to have dealt pretty significant damage to it, if not even just knocked it out entirely… Still, there was no time to dwell on that now, the ghost was moving to divebomb towards Xiao Lan in retribution for her striking against it. Immediately, the Braixen’s sisterly protectiveness kicked in as she quickly moved to step between it and the little Noibat, giving it a sharp, menacing glare that said ‘Oh no you ******** don’t’. She made a heroic leap into the air, the loose arms of the blue Choice Scarf around her neck fluttering about wildly behind her with the action, raising a fist that crackled and seethed with angry energy and socking the balloon ghost squarely in the face (or whatever counted as a face since the balloon was pretty much its whole body) with a powerful Thunder Punch. With a shrill cry, the defeated Drifloon was sent flying away a good few feet before it landed incapacitated on the floor before them, Fianna landing back on the ground in a cool, crouching pose as their beaten foe combusted into a puff of black smoke and vanished for good.
Straightening herself back up, Fianna turned towards Xiao Lan and stepped closer, carefully examining the Noibat for any wounds. ”Are you okay, sweetheart?” she asked, feeling relief crash over her upon seeing that the little bat was free of any damage, externally at least. But now, however, their path to the stairway beyond was clear, and as more and more Pokemon entered in from outside it was quickly becoming a bedlam of chaos on the floor. ”Come, Xiao Lan, we’ll wait for the others to catch up at the top of the stairs there. Just stay close to me,” she urged in a gentle yet firm voice, directing the little Noibat towards the open path so they could get there and hopefully not get caught in the crossfire of the other battles going on around them. She quickly flashed a look around, trying to locate Daiki among the mass of other bodies and more Drifloon that were steadily pouring in from the misty miasma all around them. Thankfully, the brightness of his green hair made it easy to single him out even in the ruckus. ”Daiki!” she called out, trying to project her voice enough so he could hear her above the din, ”Meet us up on the stairs when you can! We’ll wait for you there!” She gestured in the general direction of the stairs to let him know where they were going, before turning and moving to guide Xiao Lan along the way towards aforementioned staircase so they could escape the chaos.】☆ ☆

Samson couldn't say that he was keen on Gail and Ammy bounding ahead. N-now hold on, you two, I don't..." But, they were already off, leaving Daemon and Samson behind. The older Pokemon sighed, and looked to Daemon. "We'd better move, before they pull too far ahead." He had a good scent on Ammy, so he sniffed the air and he marched cautiously into the dense fog.

As the group got closer to this huge staircase, Fianna told Beltigre that she and Daiki were going to go up ahead and check it all out, and was asked to watch Xiao-Lan with Shade in the mean time. "What do I look like, a baby-sitter? Well, fine I'll do it anyways." At least, that was the plan. The little bat took off like a bullet for Fianna, insisting on tagging along. "Hey! Where do ya think yer goin'?!" Beltigre tried to pounce at Xiao-Lan to keep her from taking off, but the little girl was a quick one. She landed gracefully enough. "Dang!"
She looked back at Shade, who was still nearby. "C'mon, let's go find her before the little loudmouth gets herself hurt." She then bounded off into the fog to find the others...but must have gotten turned around somewhere? The further she went in, the less familiar things looked. "Ugh, stupid fog!" The Torracat looked around, too mad to admit that she was getting lost.

There they went, like a couple of speeding pichus. The two smaller pokemon left the older canines in the dust and disappeared into the fog ahead. "...Kids..." Daemon sighed as his head hung low. He envied their energy, but wished they would temper their curiosity with caution. Samson seemed to have a similar opinion as he suggested they catch up. Daemon gave the older dog a nod before following after him.
It wasn't long before the two came to an arch in the fog. Stepping beyond it, the two canines entered what seemed to be a room filled with... balloons? No, drifloon. Beyond them Daemon could see a set of stairs and was barely able to make out Ammy and Gail moving up them. "There!" the dark type pointed out to Samson before hurrying forward in an attempt to catch up before the two smaller pokemon could disappear into the fog. One of the drifloon floated down to block the houndoom's way. "Move aside!" Daemon growled as his teeth sparked with electricity, and when the ghostly balloon pokemon refused, bit down into the drifloon. It was a flying type, so it should have taken a significant amount of damage from the thunder fang... And yet it still blocked the way.

Luna let out a quiet squeak as she felt herself lifted up by Raf's vines again. "T-thanks!" the eevee said, her tail wagging, as the ivysaur safely moved her to the ground. As nice of a ride as Allure was, her back was not a good place to be during a fight. Even if that fight was against a bunch of balloons. Normally a hoard of balloon's would sound like a good time to the little eevee, but these were ghost balloons. A lot more dangerous.
As Allure, Noah, and Rafflesia got to work popping some of the drifloon, Luna was fully prepared to cheer them on. Except... One of the ghostly balloons had a different plan. Luna squeaked as she felt something wrap tightly around her middle and started floating off the ground. "W-wha?!" The little eevee flailed, but with nothing to gain traction on was having a hard time squirming free of the drifloon's grip as it continued to float higher. "O-oh, too high. Too high! Let me down please!" Luna yelled, but the ghost didn't seem to care about the little eevee's pleading.
