Being caught behind Samantha was not objectionable, but seeing her rear end shaking in his face did make him have to look up, cheeks flushing slightly as he coughed. As they watched Sue and the stranger, their friendly civilian devouring monstrosity had at first tried to scare the woman, failed, and switched to a retreat. She even cloaked her own appearance before leaving, Geno scribbling this information down in the Espur Encyclopedia immediately as he added onto her entry with every moment he spent watching her.
As Sue made her escape, Geno watched her passed by with a quick rush of wind as he looked down at his notes. That's when this woman started to speak again and he looked up at her from there position at the end of the street. He blinked and she spoke in...quite a peculiar manner indeed. Her chosen name as well...was very unusual indeed as he blinked. Was this her family name, or the name of her own higher calling? He couldn't be sure but he was for the most part sure that she was trying to tell them to die? Or at least surrender to her? Either way he didn't terribly like it as he snapped his book shut before placing it back into his side bag. "Sue has decided she is to be avoided to I do think we should take after her and make our exit post haste." He said, calmly to the two ladies before glancing back to the other woman who was still at least a good fiftly, maybe sixty feet down the street from them as he nodded. "You two run, I'll pose as a distraction if she decides to chase after us." He said, placing himself at the back of their escape route, looking to Sam. "Find Sue and lead everyone out, I'll be right behind you if she doesn't follow after us." He spoke calmly, pulling out a new book as he opened it up, each page filled with runes and magical symbols, preparing himself for battle if need be.

In response to being ordered by the unknown woman, it seemed that Sue chose to retreat, doing something that went far beyond what Samantha thought she could do. The dinosaur activated some kind of active camouflage ability, something Sam only knew to be possible for certain lizards and aquatic animals, not a dinosaur. Next, it seemed that the woman directed words at them, while spouting things one could only hear coming from the mouth of a marine or a fanatic priest. Or a marine fanatic priest. She extended her hand while speaking but did nothing else. It was as if she waited for them to surrender. At the moment Samantha wondered if the woman was serious or not. Who the hell would give up from that alone? Sure, she was not a fighter type of person but she still would not allow herself to be arrested without resisting. Silvia did not seem to think of the woman as dangerous and, instead, commented on how her cheeks looked squishable. Sam, while not thinking that the woman was adorable, also did not think that they should retreat. She was by herself after all. Even if she was confident in her own abilities, it could also be that she was just overconfident. But... it did not sound like Geno wanted to face her, saying that if Sue judged her to be someone she shouldn't confront, the same would apply to them. Pursing her lips, she decided to accept his idea. "Alright... but I'm against you staying behind..." she would say to him before turning around to lead the way out of there. She would drag Silvia along if needed but hoped that the fishwoman would cooperate. They had to find Sue after all. The idea of giving Geno a kiss on the cheek, for good luck, before rushing out of there crossed her mind but, she has read plenty of books to know that it ends up raising a death flag. "Let's go Silvia." she would add before running away from there, to search for... an invisible dinosaur.
--------Sue saw the majority of her companions getting ready to take off from around the corner of the building she was hiding against. As Sam and Silvia passed her she would chirp a them, shifting out of her zoan form to make the familiar rumbling pur. Otherwise they would've found it quite difficult to find her, with her scales bending the light around her and matching the surface behind her. The huge girl would give them a gentle nudge in the right direction as Sue began running for the opposite end of the island, the same direction she had escaped from when she had first arrived. Her pink hues would look back over her shoulder at Geno, stopping just for a second to stare in his direction. Would he be okay? Would he need her help?

The fluffy cheeked woman had a very strange and almost nostalgic way of talking. Using certain words like beseech, torment, and taint in way that Silvia had only ever heard one other person say. Only half paying attention to the woman's grandiose speech more focused on remembering who else she had heard talk like that. Meanwhile Geno was discussing something that she was only a fourth paying attention to. It soon would turn in to complete disregard when she was sent down memory lane by a single phrase, "Fall". And fall she did. Fall in to her mind.
"Fall" Words that would be echoed through her head when hitting the ground with a thud. A small fall that mostly got dust in her mouth than actually hurt a small Silvia. But it wasn't her hands or knees that hurt but her forehead, a single circular red bruise placed in the middle of her brows. Crowds cheered, yelling. "Finish her" Attempting to get up only to feel a unresponsive body stay in the ground. A tall powerful man stood above her wearing leather armor with an emblem carved in the chest. A sword raised high in the air and dropping down, a guillotine ready to chop off her head. Only for the blade to meet dirt, dirt that would get in her face.
A purr would bring Silvia back to reality. No longer in front of the strange knight-like lady but instead Sam and Sue who were attempting to run away without Geno. "Hold up!" Silvia snapped. If Sue had been too afraid to fight that was fine. If Sam wanted to obey the orders from Geno that was fine too. What wasn't okay was Geno having to fight a battle that he had not started or was responsible for. "Sue...come over" Beckoning the behemoth to whisper a plan in her ear. Whether Sue agreed or not there was not much stopping Silvia; being physically strong did have it's perks.
Back in mage and knight confrontation not much time had passed since the two females had turned the corner to escape. Only one of them hadn't escape. Worming her way back to the fight Silvia would pop behind Geno. "Hi Geno. Bye Geno" Grabbing the man by the collar of his shirt and the waistband of pants before flinging him over a building. "I think that's a home run don't ya think?" Hopefully Sue and Sam were waiting on the other side and agreed with her plan or else an angry Geno would be coming around and making his nose disappear. Or something magical.

Guinevere would blink several times at the occurrences. Retreats and disappearances. Chivalrous villains with outdated spellbooks. Monsters running in the light, how very odd. Nevertheless, if they would leave she would simply save this place. perhaps if she were a Marine, pursuit would be optimal, but it was always best to know how many people you had to save before the number of enemies you had to defeat. "Well then, shall we begin, Evil Wizard?" She adjusted her fighting gloves and slowly proceeded forward. "And you as well, Woman of the Gecko." Pirates, always willing to fight over the right to ruin someone else's life. What idiotic thoughts, or maybe Guinevere was still too soft.
Sam seemed to agree at first, disliking the idea of him choosing to stay behind. "Don't worry, I won't be if it isn't needed." He assured her with a smile, adjusting his glasses once more with his free hand. He looked over to the woman with the odd name, or employer, as he heard Silvia walk up behind him. "Silvia I said to-" He was cut off by her grabbing at his clothes and yeeting him over her own head at the building behind them both, sending the surprisingly heavy man through the air. "God dammit Silvia!" He would shout at her with more than enough irritation as she was supposed to be getting away with her adopted Espur daughter Sue, not playing the role of bait.
Thanks to being surprisingly heavy and Silvia not being all that insanely strong, He would barely land up on the roof of the building, his book slipping from his fingers as he reached out for it to snatch it, falling right off the roof and falling, legs wide apart to brace his fall as a visible shudder is sent up said legs and his spine. It was a bit comical as he grits his teeth and marches over to Silvia again. "Look, I told you to go with Sue because she is most comfortable with you and-" He was cut off by the lady of the hour speaking to them from down the street, referring to them as an evil wizard and a gecko. He turned to her and blinked. "I take some offense to that I'll have you know!" He retorts back to the now approaching woman as he quickly opened his book up once again.
Eyes narrowed at her as the air about him behind to flow, his cape rising up behind him as he channels his inner power and the pages of book in his left hand started to flip through thank to the wind effect. "Fira..." He spoke softly so that only Silvia could hear him name the spell before his right hand reached forwards, palm open as he fired out a concentrated ball of pure flames. If Silvia had any doubts on his powers before, he was likely to dispell them now as the blast was fired at the ground between them and the pink haired woman. As she had only just started to approach, the sphere would burst outwards and envelop the area of the street in a raging inferno, threatening to ignite her ablaze should she choose to keep progressing through the area. "Now Silvia get going, that isn't going to hold her off forever!" He shouted to the fishman at his side, trying to block off the woman so that they might all make a clean escape. "I'll be right behind you but get going!"
Artifacts Employed Item: Spell Drive System: Weather Drive Description: This attachment is a full Clima Tact, internally installed throughout Geno's body. He may release any attacks that require a [Clima Tact] through his hands, mouth, feet, or any other part of his body as desired or required. Additionally, he may increase the damage, power, effect, etc of any such abilities by an additional +10 from normal. This secondary effect may be used up to [5] times per fight before either costing [25] Stamina per use, or being recharged.
Spells Cast Technique Name: Fira Description: Geno can make use of a Clima Tact to fire a concentrated ball of heat and flames to any point in range. Upon collision with the ground or anything else, it explodes outwards, spreading intense flames across the area and burning those caught within. The raging inferno lasts for 3 posts long and will burn all within the area for 1/3 of Geno's [Prowess+50] each post in burning damage (rounded down). Anyone set ablaze from being in or entering the area will continue to burn even after leaving the area however if they fail to somehow put out the flames. Summary of Events Geno was tossed to the roof and comically fell off trying to recover his spellbook before scolding Silvia. As Guinevere makes her approach, he casts [Fira] at the ground between them. Geno's Previous post stated she was 50-60 ft away, so as she starts getting closer, the 40 ft diameter blaze floods the street and should fill the entire area between them before she would enter the area. Anyone entering the blaze will start to burn for [30] damage each round for the duration of the spell.

Samantha was forced to stop on her tracks as Silvia not only ignored her attempt to follow Geno's plan but also made one of her own. She threw the man up in the air after having whispered something to Sue. However, Geno also didn't go along with her plan. For a moment he almost scared Sam to death, when he seemed to fall off the building but, she was relieved that he managed to fix his position during the fall to land on his feet.
Although Samantha was out of sight, being concealed by a building, she could hear the weird woman call Geno as Evil Wizard and Silvia as Woman of the Gecko. The magician's reaction eas immediate and he didn't seem to like it at all. Samantha peeked from behind the building as the man opened his book to launch his attack. From his palm, a sphere of flames was launched forward, towards the ground between them and the woman. Feeling that it was wrong to escape while leaving him behind after all, Samantha decided to wait until he moved to escape with him. However, she pulled out some metallic spheres from her bag, a total of five and that were no larger than three centimeters in diameter. Three were made of solid metal while two were actually bombs, designed to explode upon striking something. It was an insurance in case the woman decided to give chase.
--------Both Silvia and Samantha turned on their heels, infuriating and frustrating Sue to no end. First Geno and now the two girls. Did no one know how to run? Sue heel-turned, rushing back to support the others at Silvia's whispered behest. The plan was initially for Sue to catch Geno as Silvia threw him up to the roof. Sue was in wait, having scaled the side of the building and waiting on top still camouflaged. But Geno slid right back off before Sue could wrap her long claws around him. Instead, those onyx talons would dig into the roofing tiles and push off as the group argued. The lizard-fish-lady would land heavily next to Silvia and Sam, growling low at them both as if telling them to get their rears in gear. The cloaking would dissolve away from Sue as if water was cascading down her scales. She would take a threatening stance towards Guin, arms out wide, fanged maw open as a hiss escaped from her throat, and claws flexing.

For a short guy Geno weighed heavier than expected. Fingers pressed against a rotating shoulder, relaxing her muscles for the up an coming fight. The knight did not wield her weapon, Silvia wouldn't either. Grabbing her ax, after one more set of stretches, and slammed in to the ground next to her. This was going to be fun. If it weren't for a meddlesome mage coming right back down from the building he had been thrown at. "Sue can handle herself" Surely the magician didn't think lower of Sue? Nor did they know where she had ran off to when ordered to retreat. Scratching the top of her, Silvia didn't quite remember what had happened. Too busy having her head in the clouds. Once again the knight would address them, it was quite polite and patient for her to wait while they dealt with their dispute. "I'm a fishman actually. We got scales but not the same thing. Oh! Silvia of the fighting fish fishman " She would not make the same mistake twice. Introducing herself late after hours of conversation.
A strange presence loomed over her, not knowing what it was until a growl caught her attention. Coming out from nowhere Sue would reveal herself and get into a pounce stance. Other than not following what Silvia had asked of the her, she decided to come back and fight with them. If the magician simply went with them she wouldn't be in danger. Not that the cuddly knight been threatening in any way. Looked like it didn't matter to Geno who let out a great flame towards the woman. "STOP!" Silvia snapped. Too late to stop the flame but attempting to do so anyways. Hands grabbed the extended arm of Geno and shifted it upward only the final licks of flame going in the air. "Run if you want! I don't plan to. I also don't plan on you guys helping me fight her! So if you want to run then ******** go!" Any composure the fishman was all burnt up in the flames. Grabbing Geno by the shirt again before shoving him to Sue. Seeing the precious yet serious look on the other's face softened her own. "Hey Sue teach this magician a new trick on disappearing okay" Sending them off with one final joke with forced smile behind it. They might decide to stay but it was clearly against her wishes.

"To take offense to your own behavior would be more suitable than offense to one calling you what you are." A hand went to the Claymore upon her back as the savage like fire filled the space of the streets, more destruction, and yet he would dare with such mockery. She pulled the blade and with a single swipe of its power, slammed down upon the space in front of her, clearing dust and particles that scattered the fire and opened the smallest bit of path. "You would continue to harm these people further, a coward in all degrees." She would speak once more as the enormous claymore was placed upon her back once more. She paused, arms folded, it would take a bit more to step through this.
"If you are going to run then do so, these people have lost enough time. It would do them well to begin to rebuild. The hotheaded fledgling beside you seems to do nothing but destroy and ruin lives, I doubt you are any different. Begone if you wish, but if you stay, I will not allow this harm to continue." The embers danced about her scowling face, so much talking, so much indecisiveness, but there were people that hung in the balance. People they didn't care about, they never even once thought of. How despicable ... disgusting ... A tear adorned her face, followed by a few more. Why did the Pirates in this world have to be so despicable, and why did good people have to hurt because of it? Her eyes sharpened further at the beast, opening wide to get her in clear view. That wouldn't do. That look, this behavior, it was currently unacceptable.
As he created the wall of flames, his arm was shifted suddenly by Silvia who had failed to divert the attack. He turned to face her angrily as she started ranting on about not agreeing to the tactical retreat. Clearly she didn't trust Sue's judgement on the matter as he sighed. She didn't want to listen to reason and she seemed overly insistent on fighting the woman alone like some kind of moron. He could barely imagine what was going through that thick skull of hers at that moment but he didn't have the luxury of time to argue as the woman started cutting dirt paths through the fires, approaching closer as she started to...cry? He started to find her stranger and stranger by the moment as he just sighed deeply, shaking his head.
"So much nonsense...Fine, have your doomed duel then! If you make it out of here alive then we'll meet back up together at Bancho Village next week."" He gave her the option of a meetup location in a hand covered whisper, so as to keep said information from Guin. "Of course you aren't obligated I suppose, but the offer is there. Crazy as you are, I don't terribly have any reason to find out you've died so please try not to." He spoke calmly before turning on his heel, snapping his spellbook shut as he started marching off around the corner. While they hadn't exactly gotten too much along so far, he didn't really have a reason to wish bad upon her so he was sincere in the hopes that she survived and possibly met up with them again later. "Sam, Sue, let's not waste the chance to go then. She wants her battle and doesn't seem keen on accepting help..." He said hastily and clearly so the other two females could hear him, hoping they'd follow with him and they could get the hell out of there.

Apparently the level of idiocy was rising. Instead of running away at first, since Sue was visibly opposed to fighting, the plans went into disarray and somehow it got to the point where Silvia wanted to fight the woman by herself. She even tried to prevent Geno from blocking the weirdo's passage. Since Geno didn't try to convince her to change her mind much less showed an intention to help her, regardless of her wanting help or not, Sam decided to not worry any further and went along with the magician instead. To ensure that the decision would be final, she took a dozen bombs from her bag and, as they would escape, they would crash into a few tall buildings, bringing them down and blocking the streets behind them.
--------Sue, not heeding anyone else at this point, saw her only option was to fight. If no one was willing to put to flight, then the girl had to use tooth and claw to defend them. As she ran forward, Sue's shimmering camouflage would reactivate. Scales shifted as the girl's body became a blur much like a heat-wave. Much like the warm air still shimmering and rising above the flames that now dotted the area, being extinguished by Guin's professional sword strokes. There would be an explosion behind Sue as she ran, masking her already subtle foot-steps, and blocking the street between Silvia & Sue and Geno & Sam. Coming in from the side, jaws wide and claws already poised for ripping and tearing, Sue would be aiming to take a toothy chunk out of the girl Guin! The shimmering cloak would fade away as the predator struck!

How forthcoming, the wiley beast had begun its charge. If she hadn't seen its camouflage before, perhaps she would have been more shocked. if there wasn't only a single path to her, she could have fallen to her unsharpened eyes. Even so large, it was so quiet, so still. The tears would continue to flow as she made her way forward. Charing blindly into the fray as he body densed itself, she could take this. She had been spending all of this time with Ran to strengthen herself, to carry the burden of the helpless around her. Clench. Sue would feel her gaping maw land home upon Guinevere, but to no avail, would the maw be held back by her skin alone. The teeth would not pierce the flesh. "Mercy ..." She would speak out as the bite landed, simultaneously swinging her right hand upward and cupping the beasts neck and jerking them directly upward, the other hand coming to meet it before slamming the beast directly into the flames if they were unable to avoid it.
"Have you no shame for the people you have hurt?!" She would howl out as she brandished her Claymore and spun in a circle, whipping up a bit of dust to clear an area around her free of flames for the time being. The crackling adorned her pristine skin lovely, golden she was among the whimsical fire. And it adorned her fury with as much presence as she could muster.
[ 50 Damage for the Slam if it lands. Dunno the fire damage, but you can ignore it if you want. ]

--------Sue chewed several times in an attempt to bite through Guin's iron-hard skin, but to no avail. Little more than a frightened beast, the huge girl was driven mostly by instinct at this point. But not so far gone that she couldn't feel a gloved hand press down on her throat, squeezing arteries in her neck. Guin, for a brief moment, would feel the frantic heart-beat of a terrified beast as she slammed Sue into the ground and pounding her into the last remnants of a nearby fire. As Guin brandished her sword, clearing a circle of embers, Sue would slowly crawl up on to all fours. She was no longer in the guise of a dinosaur. A young, yet large, female fishwoman stared at Guin with tears welling in those saucer-sized eyes. A lip curled, and a guttural growl escaped Sue as she lunged forward again. This time, however, the long tail that trailed behind her would whip forward in an attempt to trip the swords-woman as Sue attempted to strike the woman with a clawed hand. "NOOOOT TAAAAKE BACK!"
