Who is engaged? Agnes and Anali
She missed. Probably on purpose. When the Naga threw the coconut before, she had missed Adrasteia's head. Perhaps she played the game right! She would have to remember to pat herself on the back later for that.
However, the Faun was down from the tree now. There was that. But now the faun was behind her, urging her to fight more and praying for their safety? Odd. Fighting ended badly. Is that the purpose behind a battle then? Fighting? Well, obviously, Adrasteia... But fighting over what exactly? Why did this battle begin?
Now there were questions. Far too many to be asked in such a short time.
She twirled her scythe, landing it with a resounding tap to the ground, blade pointing forward. Her black eyes returned to the now outraged Naga.
"To be fair..." she started flatly. "Trees don't really have heads. Or brains, for that matter. Maggots prefer rotting flesh and not rotting vegetation. So it is impossible for me to be classified as such a thing." she spoke matter of factly...
She dodged the approaching attack, though still felt the strike of the tail slap her across her face at full force. If it hurt her at all, she definitely didn't show it...
This one was quick. Adrasteia was fast, but the Naga was proving faster. She turned, continuing to face Anali as she darted about, throwing her onslaught of attacks. Most of which Adrasteia would either block or allow to connect. She showed no outright interest in fighting back. In fact, she showed no outfight interest in fighting at all! Or interest in anything for that matter.
She was emotionless. Simply a blank slate...
"It is impossible for one's brain to be scrambled." she then countered, again matter-of-factly. "To do so would mean to completely incapacitate the owner of the brain forever." She turned her scythe to grip it into a blocking stance. "And as you can see, I am in no way incapacitated..."
Damage: Wooooww... 2...
wiccan_faillie Yer totes fine! <3 Adrasteia wasn't aiming for anypae in particular. If Agnes mistook it, then that's cool. XD Also - Adrasteia is a bit hard to understand/read. She doesn't understand/feel emotions. Like... at all. So she would come across as flat, dull, and downright creepy.

Who is engaged? Jahleel, Harmonia, kinda-sorta-Hjortur (good try buddy)
Before today, Tristen never had even touched a sword. Barely even used a kitchen knife. It went without saying, he really had no idea what he was doing with the sword, using it more like a club. So when Jahleel's fast one handed sword connected with his much more cumbersome swing, no one but Tristen was really surprised. The downward momentum was quickly yanked to the side, the tip grazing the others shoulder right before the hilt left his hands. Instantly it poofed into a shower of pink sparks.
Pink sparks...He had one more trick up his sleeve.
The king snake had a perfect opportunity to strike back as he was wide open to attack now before he could hope to throw his hands up for his volley. But a delightful tune reached his ears first. If he hadn't had years of experience manipulating the feelings of other pae himself, he probably would have fully busted a move. As it was his head unconsciously bobbed to the music as his eyes unfocused briefly.
Then as suddenly as it was, it disappeared again. Tristens eyes refocused and he lifted his hand to fire off his sure-to-work-100-percent-flawless plan, but before he could shoot off his magic volly, the naga was racing off. Leaving a quite broken and bloody fae. "Don't worry, I've got you." He instantly dropped his aura of passion to focus on gently picking the female up into his arms. He needed to get her to a healer, but more importantly he needed to get her away from the same spot they were in case the naga came back.
If the female was conscious and rather have tristen as a support, he'd gently lead her away. If she allows him to carry her, he just picks her up and carries her away.

Who is engaged? Tristen, Jahleel, Hjortur
From the moment the snake coiled her, she was lost. Between the discord and the agonizing injuries made worse, Harmonia was beyond useless. It wasn't to say she didn't try. The flailing she was able to do went unnoticed. That said a lot but for once she wasn't listening.
If she tried hard enough, there was a great chance she could transport herself home. There it would be her realm and harmony would dictate that she and Jahleel would be on even grounds. However, between feeling like it would be abandoning her mother and that bringing the chaos into her realm would be her final death caused the abandonment of that plan.
Watching helplessly, Harmonia gasped in shock as one of her brother's arrows hit one of her rescuers. What in the name of Venus? The purple glow could have been her pain filled hallucination or was something worse happening?
By the time she was released, Harmonia forgot what it was like to breathe and just fell limply. Black spots obstructed her vision to the point she could hear the fae but was unable to make out much of his appearance. The Daughter of Venus was yet too weak to completely lay down dead. She took his help eagerly, leaning heavily on the Fae but still managed to move her feet. The action was more of a dragging sliding motion. Plenty of her own blood made the ground a sticky sort of slippery. What her mother must think of her now.
Bowing her head the battered deity almost melded into the Fae as much as she needed to lean on him.

Rolled a 7 for healing, Harmonia needs that muchly

Day: 3
Who is engaged? Adora and random naga
Lannister whirled around, hearing Adora's outcry which was now becoming a very familiar sound for the red fae. "Hey!" Lannister cried out, it looked like he was able to speak pretty easily when he really needed too. He brandished his spear while attempting to give the naga a menacing glare. Lannister was going to have to do more than that though. The naga looked exposed to Lannister, wrapped around Adora like that. Especially with his long spear, he could get to the naga without having to be in range of her claws.
Lannister went in for the spear shot, he didn't have the physical strength to plunge the spear in any deep or fatal way, but it was certainly enough to irritate the naga as the demigod stabbed at her repeatedly. He was trying to be fast and strong, but it seemed like the more he poked at the snake, the tighter it constricted around Adora. Frowning in frustration, Lannister was not sure the best way to go about getting Adora out of there. He needed every ounce of strength he had...
Lannister resolved to go full body in to plunging the spear into the naga. Of course, doing so put him in range of the naga's claws as well.

Pae'il Name: Nahusha
Day: 3
Who is engaged? NPC Harpy
Nahusha was feeling frustrated and disappointed as he fled from the minuscule cherub, Kyle. Dishonored... dishonor on him... dishonor on his cow. As far as he knew, he hadn't even killed the other cherub. If he had known that he had been successful in at least that, he would have been disappointed he didn't get to eat or take a trophy from him. Nahusha had nothing to show from this battle aside from a welt on his head and this strange crap on his face that he hadn't managed to get off. Oh and he smelled really, really pretty. Nahusha rolled his eyes, he would throw a teenaged temper tantrum right now if they hadn't been in the middle of losing a battle.
He had always known he had been weaker, but now he just felt pathetic. He had to prove he was strong, so Nahusha went after the biggest, baddest harpy he could find (that wasn't engaging his brother, Tutu.)
Nahusha had attempted to be smart earlier in the fight, but you see how well that went for him. So now... now he attempted to be stupid.
And being stupid, seemed to work pretty well for him.
Nahusha leaped out at the harpy, grabbing onto her leg with his teeth as it attempted to fly away. Of course it kicked him off, scratching his beautiful face. His own blood running only fueled him though. The bird-brained harpy couldn't leave well-enough alone either and thought it would finish off the teenaged naga.
Nahusha didn't make it so easy on the harpy though, he was filled with a new wind of energy from the need to restore his honor. As the harpy came at him with claws extended, Nahusha dodged out of the way. The harpy was forced to land on the ground, and Nahusha leaped onto the bird's back (try flying away with a snake on your plane). The teenager dug his claws into its shoulders, and his teeth into its neck, fully enjoying the taste of blood, that wasn't his own, in his mouth.
The harpy screeched and Nahusha was quickly flung from its back. He slid across the ground on his back, and the harpy was quickly advancing on him. Nahusha was trying to scramble up, but he was honestly terrified now. He had his moment of fun, but he had truly picked a horrifying harpy to tangle with.

Day: 3
Who is engaged? Abhisneha and Aiolos
"Raise your weapon, child of Pothos." Kleta continued, looking Abby over. "Oh... it appears you don't have one." She laughed... no, it was really more of a cackle... at her pathetic niece. Despite the brainwashing, Kleta was still a soldier and was not about to win an unfair duel. Also, the girl looked like she was about ready to give up before the fight even started, and that wouldn't be very fun for Kleta. "I suppose you can borrow my shield." She said, chucking her shield at Abby in a way that could give her a good blow to the chest if she wasn't quick about catching it. It could have been a merciful gesture, but Kleta was doing it in mockery.
"I don't suppose I'll be needing it for this." Kleta had a clear smirk on her face. Hardly giving Abby a chance to even get her shield/weapon situation figured out, Kleta lunged in with her spear, aiming for Abby's shoulder that appeared to already be injured.

Who is engaged? Kleta and Aiolos
Abby squeaked, getting hit in the chest by the shield that had been tossed at her. Ouch, that hurt. She could feel that blow through the bite in her shoulder. Well that was throbbing while she was being told she was basically a worthless piece of trash. It was enough to send her spiraling into a fit of self consciousness that even Aiolos wouldn't have been able to pull her out of for quite some time.
Thank goodness her aunt's words were quick, Abby had barely pulled the gifted shield up before she was impaled, in her bad shoulder, with Kleta's spear. Her eyes widened, unable to process what had just happened. Guardians be with her, something was going to have to give. A quiet gasp escaped her lips, this hurt more than just about anything she'd experienced before. All of this ran through her mind at the speed of light, her body reacting automatically to the blow she'd just received. Abby swung her good arm around, aiming for her aunt's legs. It was the only spot she might have had a chance of actually landing a blow.
