all diff, mental, physical, behavioral problems. some are high functioning enough to have a facebook and others need help bathing themselves! it's really all diff levels, which is what makes it different but i really enjoy it. never a dull day either. wink

That's so kind of you. Do you volunteer or do you get paid? When I was in middle school I would go to the classes with special needs who were retarded.
I was good friends with this one guy because even though he was retarded he was a math genius.

Naw I get paid, it's a full time job I work for a small company that provides care for adults with special needs. before that the only experience i'd had was being a counselor at a summer camp for special needs kids and adults. emotion_c8 yeah some people can be hindered in one part but really smart in another. it's a neat job cause you get exposed to so many different types of people are learn so much about how people can progress. i've only been working it about 4 months and i'm already seeing some of our guys have gotten better than when i first started.

Sometimes, but it's mostly like one guy might be yelling and I'm cooking dinner and trying to get him to sit down and I'm tired from being woken up during the night and it's like AAAAHHHHHH but things always get better eventually fff.
