Blue eyes studied Shikatsu with mild interest. Evident ally "I was from Yukigakure". Should I tell him? A few flashbacks from her previous endeavors cut that thought short. "Yeah. On a mission. It was swell." She lied, being nonchalant in her mannerisms. Someone, an Anbu, approached them and inquired about their reasoning for being here. She shut up and watched the two men exchange formalities and go through protocol procedures. After they were done she snorted. "It's Jae" She said, correcting him. Jae followed after him to the Yukikage's office.

Haki had made sure to keep the girls off the village roads, sticking to smaller and unknown ways of travel, coming in behind the port rather then taking a boat in. Now, outside the village of Snow, they didn't dare approach the main gates yet. Instead, they kept a good 600ft away from the entrance, all three of them hidden in a snowy shelter that could have been an old stock hold for incoming boats. He peered out of it, keeping the girls behind him, waiting anxiously for Kein to appear. If he didn't...How am I supposed to keep his daughters safe if I can't defend myself? he thought, glancing at the girls who sat mutely behind him. They all wore thick coats, Haki's white and the girls dark like their father's, to keep warm but even that wasn't enough against Yukigakure's freezing temperature. At this rate, they would freeze to death if they didn't get inside the gates before nightfall.

On the way to the Kage's office, the two headed pass the gates of the village. Shifting his weight a little bit, Marco adjusted the bag that sat on his shoulder. As he walked along, he looked behind him to make sure that Kenji was following behind him. Hopefully she didn't get distracted and run off somewhere.

Marco gave a small laugh at what Kenji had to say and then gave another small laugh at her hanging and snuggling onto his arm. Looking out to the sea the best he could Marco gave off a small smile. "I'm sure that it won't really be a problem. Then again, most places are probably hot compared to here." He gave off another small laugh as they walked along.

It's freezing! Haki stood at one of the walks leading off the port, his arms wrapped tightly around his body as he spoke to one of the workers "Y-You're sure you h-haven't seen him?" he stammered, his jaws shaking because of the cold. The boat worker gave him a sympathetic look but shook his head "Sorry, kid. Try another boat. Or ask those two." he motioned to a boy and girl walking to the water and Haki turned to follow his look. Oh goody. Haki paled, making his red nose look even redder, as he realized the two indicated were shinobi. Definitely not who he wanted to talk to but..."...ok. Thank you." he had to get the Uchiha girls into the warmth. End of story. He quickly moved over to intercept the man and the girl with purple hair, trying to not stammer "Excuse me! C-Can I ask you two something?" he asked, not quite standing in front of them but off to the side. The Uchiha girls were waiting for him to come back and he needed to be quick, ask his question and get them all somewhere warm!

xxxxxxKenji nodded, they were the coldest place and probably the hardest to invade due to it being too cold. She was about to speak when Haki came over to them and she looked toward him. "You three look cold, your not from here? Ask away~!" She wasn't cold one bit, even with her legs showing up to mid thigh and her sleeveless top. She was very nice to kids though so she gathered Haki into a warm hug to try and warm him up. "Here's a trick to keep warm, don't blow on your hands cause your breath is wet, just huddle together." She knew lots of ways to be warm in this climate, due to being a street kid, you could huddle under piles of snow and be warm like hawaii or stick your hands under your armpits or in your pants or shirt.

It seemed like for the moment, Marco's and Kenji's conversation would have to be put on hold. His attention would be drawn over to a person that came up to them and asked, if they could ask something. Looking them over, Marco could tell they were cold, which told him they weren't from around here. While Marco wasn't as exposed as Kenji, he wasn't wearing tons of layers either. He only did that on the coldest of days, or if he was leaving the village to go into the snowy country side. Either way, he was about to say something when Kenji darted forward and gave the person a hug. She was defiantly an interesting person to say the least. Anyways Marco would chime in after Kenji did. "Well technically, you did just ask us something, by asking us if you could ask us something....but I guess we can try to be of help since you haven't been here before." Marco gave the boy a quick a smile.

Haki yelped as the girl suddenly hugged him, finding his face firmly planted just above her breasts Yeeeek! No! he quickly jerked his head upward so he could breath, his cheeks now matching his nose "I-I-I-I!!" he was so flustered now that he could barely talk between the cold and his embarassment "I'm escorting two girls who are fleeing an angry caravan! I was wondering if we could take shelter in your village until their father can arrive!" he said fast and with a high pitch in his voice. His neck was at a weird angle from the girl's hugging arms "It wouldn't be for a very long time but we're not used to such cold weather! We'd really appreciate it!"

xxxxxxKenji hugged him closer, letting go after a bit and rubbing his cold cheeks with her warm hands. "Shelter? Sure...Marco, why don't we take them to the apartments? Get them warmed up and safe." She lifted Haki up into her arms and stood up fully, carrying him like a child but only cause he was ADORABLE. "I'm Kenji by the way, that cute guy is Marco, whats your name?" She pinched his cheek a bit gently, trying to get that blush down that she mistaked for his cheeks being cold still.

Hearing the request, Marco looked back a little bit. With the size of the Kage's office, they could see it from here. He wasn't so sure about okaying them to come into the village. After all he was just a genin and if they were being chased by someone, it could cause problems for the village. Looking back at the boy and Kenji he gave off a small laugh at what they were doing. "I guess we could at least get them to the apartments. It might not be a bad idea to let the Kage know about this, but we can decide on that later." Marco gave a small nod. He wasn't to worried about it for the moment.

Haki yelped as he was lifted off the ground and a shout came from behind them "Put Haki down!" two girls came running out of the area off to the left of the docks, one older and the other younger. The older one was the one who'd shouted and as she got closer, she skidded to a stop, panting. Her jacket came down to her knees, thick boots and heavy pants showing from under the fuzzy warmth. Her younger sister appeared to be drowning in a coat that was slightly bigger then herself "I-I'm fine, Toki-sama." Haki stammered, his hands planted firmly on Kenji's shoulders to keep from falling "Thank you both for letting us into your village!" he looked over at Marco anxiously, clearly pleading for the other boy to make Kenji put him down. Toki wrapped her arms around herself, staring at the two Yuki shinobi with wide eyes. Her sister clung to Toki's waist as Haki managed to wiggle a little to look at the girl "Say thank you, Toki-sama." Toki swallowed then bowed to Kenji and Marco "Thank you for your hospitality." she said, her little sister mimicking the bow.

xxxxxxKenji looked over at the two girls who came out and chuckled but just snuggled Haki closer before setting him down and letting go, swooping up the youngest girl and hugging her close to snuggle. "We should tell the kage but if its not that long then we shouldn't have to, what village you kids from?" She asked, swooping the oldest girl up too into her arms to hold, they were probably tired from running from that caravan! She cuddled them and snuggled them so they were warmer in their oversized outfits.

Looking over at the girls as they came out of their hiding place, Marco didn't say much. He had to trust that what this person was saying was the truth. If they were lying, it could bring trouble for the village, and if trouble was brought and they didn't tell the Kage about it, that could lead to trouble for him and Kenji. Either way, standing outside talking about it wouldn't do anything. Marco gave a wave to the group. "Well if you want to get inside, you better hurry up. Last thing we need is anyone asking questions. Come on." He turned his back and started for the apartments.
