"Oh I want to go. I need some chocolate cake." Remus smiled and stood up. But he didn't want to leave Severus and the other's would probably be mad if he showed Severus the secret passages.

Severus smiled. "You go on ahead. I have to go back to my common room and study. I still have that essay for potions." He made a face at the thought and sighed. "I'll see you later, okay?"

"You sure?" He kissed Severus. "Ok I'll see you later then."

Severus watched Remus walk away, a feeling of never truly belonging overwhelming him, making his sad. He trudged to the Slytherin common room to write the dreaded essay. It would be easy, quick and simple, but boring as Hell. He worked to make it perfect anyway, missing lunch to do so.

After Remus got his ham sandwhich and chocolate cake he went to find Severus. He was glad he had the map. He saw he was still in the Slytherin common room so he used the secret passage ways to get there. He was glad it was empty when he popped out. He snuk up behind Severus and covered his eyes. "Guess who." He whispered.

Severus jumped. "Remus, how did you get in here? Only Slytherins know how to get to this place. And you don't have a password."

"It's a secret. Are you almost done with your essay?" Remus didn't want to spend much time in here in case a slytherin came in.

Severus looked over his essay, thinking. "I... I suppose it's done. Just let me add something.. and done." Severus finished with a flourish and stood.

"Good." Remus smiled. "I realized after I left that we didn't say were we'd meet up later. So do you want to go back to the lake? This time with none of my friends around to annoy us?"

Severus smiled. "Sure. That sounds nice." He packed up his homework and threw his bag in his dormitory. "Do you think they'll ever truly like me," he asked as they made their way to the lake. "Your friends, I mean. They said they'd tolerate me, but do you think they'll ever truly accept me?"

"I don't know." Remus told him truthfully. "Maybe once they grow up some they'll realize that there's no reason not to like you." Remus laced his fingers with Severus'. "And I know James will grow up sooner or later if he truely wants to be with Lily. And I think Sirius' hatred for Lily is worse then his dislike of you so then he won't bother you any more." Remus smiled.

Severus grinned. "Does Sirius have something for James," he asked, unintentionally using their first names instead of calling them by their last names.

Remus laughed. "I don't know. Maybe. That could be the reason he can't stand Lily."

Severus's grin grew wider. "That's nice to know." He wouldn't say anything in front of James, but he fully planned on giving Sirius a hard time. "That's a stupid reason to hate someone. Besides, Lily is a sweet person."

"Yeah I know. But I think with them it was one of those you just look at a person and hate them because I can't remember who started it all between them." Remus smiled and sat down under a tree. He was so happy to be out with Severus just enjoying himself.

His happiness was short lived though when an owl swooped by and dropped a letter for him. "It's from my father." Remus paled but opened it up reading the letter. "Appearntly he's sick and wants me to come back to see him one last time."
