Sarcasm...
Least it covered the fact that he was going to need to come up with a few new tricks if he was planning on properly protecting Izanagi.
His black eyes caught movement from the upstairs window, but Noe didn't see anyone...
'Izanagi must have been watching... well,' the kodama smirked as he headed back into the house. 'At least he knows Matsuo really ISN'T a mortal.'
Passing through the doorway, Umeda's spirit phased into a physical being once more as he began to take off his boots.
(((OOC; Soo... no idea what the "worm in your stomach" phrase means. The only thing I can come up with has to do with the worm at the bottom of a tequila bottle and that it can make you feel funny if you drink it. So I figured Matsuo meant something along the lines of, "I'm not the thorn in your side" or "I'm not the pain your a**". Least I hope it was supposed to be meant like that. Also... no idea what a "rockbarrel" is either... though from how the sentence continued I'm assuming it's a dog of some sort.)))

(( "worm in your stomach" is actually something i made up...sorry. didn't double check everything i wrote [wasnt in a mood]. was thinking there are worms living in trees and kodama is a plant spirit...so it is actually mean, Matsuo does not live inside the kodama/grow up with him/do not know the kodama very well. I'll change it. As for the dog...i changed the name too since i can't find the right spelling online..bleh. Sorry for the confusion and letting you read all this crap. wont happen again.))
He lock himself inside the bedroom. Sitting on the floor and try to figure how to solve the science question.
Izanagi dare not to walk downstairs. The kodama is right down there and Izanagi is afraid to ask for the truth.
He want to believe Matsuo is a good guy, or maybe a good spirit.
"So you've got a problem with vengeful spirits... you wouldn't be the first one nor the last. Just means you need to make friends with spirits who don't want to gut you on the spot." Izanagi remembered the kodama told him. "Make friends with spirits..." If he befriended with Matsuo sincerely, will that able to change his destiny?
Although that sound childish and risky but he is willing to give it a shot. His main enemy is not Matsuo but Oiwa though. And of course, Izanagi didn't know, Matsuo is actually Oiwa...

Boots off, and since Izanagi wasn't making any sound from his room... the kodama figured the boy to be asleep.
Perfect time for him to relax a little.
Heading into the bathroom, Umeda shed his coat and pants, his socks and shirt, hanging up most of the items on the back of the door.
The kodama then turned on the hot water, filling the bath to almost overflowing. In fact, some water splashed out to funnel down the tiled drain area used for a shower or scrubbing down.
At the moment, scrubbing down was far from Noe's mind.
Sighing, Umeda closed his eyes as steam filled the room. His long dark hair clung to his face before cascading down into the bath itself, floating around him.
It felt wonderful to relax.
Being a spirit of nature... water was like his best friend.
'Only way this would be better is if I were at an onsen with some sake.' Noe thought with a half smirk.
Of course... he had neglected to lock the door...
(((OOC: No, it's fine. I was just REALLY confused, heh. When I ask questions, as long as I get an answer, I'm good, hehe.)))

Fliping his thick science textbook, Izanagi is searching answer for the question. Although he never pay attention in the class but he always do his homework.
Gruuu...Izanagi press his belly, forehead laying on his other hand on the table, body curling like an 'S' shape.
His stomach rumbling loud. "...Must be the takoyaki." Yes, it must be the takoyaki Matsuo share with him earlier that makes his stomach uncomfortable.
Izanagi rush to the restroom downstairs. He could have go to the restroom in his parent's room but he prefer the one he always use.
Still has his hand pressing his belly. He walk faster before he s**t in his pants...
Izanagi has no idea the kodama is taking a bath in the restroom as he open the door and find it steamy and warm inside. "What the..." He has a bad feeling about this. Uh oh...don't tell me...

Perhaps it might have been better if the kodama's senses had been trained outward...
Of course, Umeda was hardly phased by the fact that Izanagi was now standing in the bathroom, pretty much staring at him.
Instead, the kodama smirked slightly, raising one thin dark eyebrow in question. He leaned his head to the side of the bath, pillowing his temple with an upturned palm from his propped up right elbow.
"Either blush, get the awkward moment over with, and leave... or tell me exactly why you're letting the steam out." Noe spoke.
Of course the kodama was teasing him... because the look on Izanagi's face was priceless and about to send the spirit into a fit of laughter... but he maintained a straight face... somehow...
(((OOC: GOMEN! New job training at Chili's was hard core! I was working nights the last 5 days, 3pm-11:30pm (or even 1am) and so I was totally dead and just came home and fell asleep. My normal schedule now is around 10:30am so I've got the lunch shift. So unless I pick up a shift from someone, my schedule til next Thursday (not this Thursday) is lunches so I'll be around in the evenings to post. I just didn't want you to think I died!)))

Darn the pretty face... Although the bathroom is covered by steam but Izanagi can see the kodama's face clearly. Those eyes of his, the simrk on his face and his voice skipped Izanagi's heartbeat.
"Hmm? I must be dreaming..Can't even see what's in there..."
He remain calm and move his sight to somewhere else, not looking at the kodama. He pretend he did not see anything. Closing up the door, he stand outside of the bathroom. Izanagi couldn't believe what is happening to him. A hand placed on his chest as he can feel his heart beating faster, like is going to explode.
"This is not happening to me..."

The second that Izanagi closed the door, Umeda ducked completely under the water and began laughing.
Being a spirit had it's perks... like not needing to breathe... and this way, the young man outside the bathroom, wouldn't hear how amused Noe really was.
After a few moments, Umeda stood, dripping water down his lean form, and grabbed a towel. He was quickly covered with it wrapped around his waist.
That didn't mean he dried off... far from it.
With a playful smirk, the kodama opened the bathroom door to see Izanagi sitting there outside. "Did you actually need something, Izanagi?" Noe asked, leaning forward from behind the young man, enough so that his dripping hair made a curtain around his own face... and Izanagi's.
Black eyes watched the younger for a long moment, as if searching for some long forgotten sign...

Izanagi sit outside the bathroom, hugging his knees and waiting for the kodama to come out.
His stomach still rumbling loud making him feel very uncomfortable.
Body straightened up when he heard the door open...
Izanagi turn around. He wasn't expecting to see the kodama only has a towel wrapped around the waist and lean against his back.
He can feel the water dripping on his shirt but he couldn't care much as he is staring at the kodama. Stunning...
The kodama look beautiful. Beautiful than a woman. Such close distance... Izanagi want to touch the beautiful face...
Slowly, his hand lifting up automatically towards the kodama's face. But he flinch back and facepalm himself before reaching it. Idiot what are you doing?!
"Nothing. Just nature calls..." He reply the kodama with a smile and walk into the restroom to solve his nature problem.
Izanagi don't understand. I don't like men, right? He sits on the toilet bowl and look into the mirror which is hanging in front of him. He shooke his head. "This is not real."

Smirking, Umeda didn't turn around when Izanagi hurried into the bathroom and closed the door.
Oh he knew... he knew that look on the young man's face and the kodama sensed that his towel's precarious predicament had obviously had an effect on Izanagi.
Thus, Noe had two choices...
He could either go borrow some of Izanagi's clothes... since he didn't quite feel like returning home to get his own. Or he could simply stay in the towel...
Umeda opted for the latter.
Smirk still in place, the kodama went into the living room and collapsed onto the sofa. One arm was behind his head, acting as a pillow, while the other lay draped across his chest. He kept one leg on the sofa, the other with his heel just barely on the floor.
It allowed the towel to sit just right... hiding everything but just barely.
Black eyes closed as Noe relaxed, his long dark wet hair clinging to his bare skin.
If Izanagi was embarrassed before... Umeda knew that this would make the young man's cheeks light up like a Christmas tree.

Flushed and wash his hands before leaving the restroom.
Izanagi thought the kodama would have some clothes put up now.
However, his thought was wrong...
Walking out from the restroom the the living room.
He passed by the sofa. Noticing someone was sleeping there.
Taunted, he stop right there and turn his head slowly. What the hell?! Eyes open wide with the mouth opened like a big 'O'.
What was the kodama thinking?

"Something wrong?" Umeda asked, his eyes remaining closed.
He was too comfortable to move at the moment.
Even if the look on Izanagi's face was, no doubt, priceless.
"You interrupted my bath to take a s**t... I think it only fair that you deal with my lack of clothing."
It was as if he had read the boy's mind.
Black eyes opened to slits, a smirk pulling at the corner of the kodama's mouth.
"Besides... I need to borrow some clothes... unless you'd rather I slept in a towel while waiting for my laundry."
Noe was ready to put his clothes in the wash... he simply wanted to know if he was going to have to do laundry in the buff or not.

Izanagi realize the kodama is just playing with him. So you think it's funny to see me acting like this...Very well, let's see who will get a bigger surprise now!
He thought evily when the kodama smirked at him. "You are kidding right, Umeda-san?"
He climb on the sofa which the kodama sleep on. "Like this...is good." Izanagi said, smirk and leaning close to the kodama's chest.
"Will you naked for me everyday?" He sound naughty.

One black eyebrow rose in question, but the expression never changed on the kodama's face.
"If you want me in a towel or naked, Izanagi-san... you had but to ask."
His smirk remained before the man laughed softly. "And here I thought you hated me... unless of course you're trying to play the same game as I... in which case..."
Without any warning whatsoever, Umeda leaned up, claiming Izanagi's lips with his own in a passionate kiss. After holding that kiss for a few moments, he pulled back, laying on the sofa once more.
Noe licked his lips with a suggestive smirk. "Been a while since I kissed someone that didn't taste of a hint of tobacco." the kodama teased.
