Well I was looking at fall out boy on Yahoo music because a friend got me hooked on that band. I looked at Similar artists and saw My Chemical Romance. I thought to myself, well why not. So i clicked on it and watched all of their music videos and fell in love with their music. So I bought MCR cds and am now addicted.

I was watching viva la bam and I saw this commercial for this new CD. Then I was watching the rock count down and this new video came on that I had never seen. It was the same song from the commercial. So I watched and I was blown away. It kicked so much a**! Then my grilfriend bought me the CD for christmas.

My best friend introduced me to their music. At first I didnt like mcr, I was like what the heck is she listening to? But after awhile I was like, this is really cool and I started to listen to them more. Now I have both of their cds. 3nodding

Well as usual I was sitting in my room doing whatever the heck I was doing...and well "I'm Not Okay" came on, and I started jamming to this tune and I was thinking "Great Song...who sings that?" Well it wasn't til I heard "Helena" on the radio that I wanted to seek them out, because sometimes bands only have one really good song from them. But I checked them out and BAM... heart

I was watching fuse and there song IM NOT OKAY came on and it was great so i went online and looked them up and listened to more of their songs and they were all good and thus the story of how i heard of My Chemical Romance ends. 3nodding great story

I saw the 'I'm Not Okay' video on Fuse around December of last year, but I was just like. "Ooh. That dude's cute." and I dismissed it. But three or four months ago, when I announced that I was going on a CD-buying-spree, my best friend suggested them. I bought both CDs at once and now I eternally love my friend for that. xD

I saw bits of the video clip to Helena and All that I got by the used in someone's avatar and i asked them where it was from and they told me and i fell in love with the video clips and the songs just grew on me =]

I heard of em...on a Billie Joe Armstrong Forum....and I just downloaded some songs and saw some pictures of em and now I'm a BIG fan of em!!!<3

my friend asked me to find a song by them and burn it to a cd to give to him at school o.O
instead i burned one song for him, and the whole cd for me because i fell in love @_@

My friend talked about them and then I decided to finally look them up on Itunes to see who they were and found their music sounded really good.

I don't think I have posted in this thread before, so here I go;
I heard of them back in 02' when their first album came out, my brother showed me the song "Headfirst for Halos," I liked it. Alot. I then checked out their other songs and I liked them, also.
So any who, being the girly girl I was, I didn't tell anyone I liked them because people probably expected me to like pop music.
Over the years, I still liked them, and I got depressed. Very depressed, enough to try and commit suicide.
That's where their second album comes in.
The day I was going to kill myself, I heard Helena. And realized how I couldn't do that to myself.
How my family would be traumatized, and how selfish it would be.
That's when I came out and made it known that I liked My Chemical Romance, and I loved them even more than before. =]
And instead of being a girly girl, I'm the total opposite now.

I was watching music videos and then Helena came on. You know music videos they have the names of the band,song,and album.

my friend asked me if i liked them,i said i havent heard of them.then i watched MTV and i really like them. my first video i saw of them was Helena and now i have the latest cd,3 cheers 4 sweet revenge.

I first saw them on tv and thought this band is crap. Then my friends started telling me how great they are. I watched one video and thought they still are crap. But then just a week ago I watched making the video and it showed them making the ghost of you I think it was and I was like holy crap this band rocks!!!! I then saw the same video I thought was crap and I was like man this video rocks, what was I on crack when I said it sucked? So now I am a total fan! I love mcr. Can't believe I thought they were bad.
