Living in servetude (sassiechicka and shuro2009)

The princess led them down to the tree by the pond where her and Emily often swam. She found Emily passed out underneath the tree. The princess wanted the prince to give her the news that she wouldn't be marrying the princess' brother.  

[Shuro2009]

"Emily?" The prince said softly as to not startle her. "We have some news for you."  

[sassiechicka]

Emily opened her eyes, " Sorry your majesty. I should have been more attentive to my surroundings. "  

[Shuro2009]

"It's alright." THe prince said. "But I do have good news. You do not have to marry the prince. When the princess comes to live with me, you are to follow. KYo has also given consent to try and allow a relationship to florish between the two of you if given the time."  

[sassiechicka]

Emily sat up and looked at the prince, " Do you really mean it? I can follow the princess to your kingdom and serve her there. "  

[Shuro2009]

"of course. It would be an honor to welcome both of you into my home."  

[sassiechicka]

Emily smiled, " Your majesty may I hug you for your kindness? "  

[Shuro2009]

Feel free to." He replied with a slight smile.

Emily got up off the ground. She walked over to the prince and gave him a hug. She also kissed him on the cheek, " Thank you your majesty. "  

[Shuro2009]

"it's my pleasure." He responded.  

[sassiechicka]

Emily giggled, " Well I'm sure that after you and my princess are married I won't be of use to her. "  

[Shuro2009]

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Replied the prince with a smile.  

[sassiechicka]

Emily pulled the prince aside from the princess and Kyo, " Do you know if given time if Kyo would give me a chance? "  

[Shuro2009]

he will try and give you a chance." replied the prince. "What you don't realize, Emily, is that he was raised differently. He has much to learn, grow accustom to. He's not quick to trust. He simply needs time."  

[sassiechicka]

Emily looked at the prince, " Well him and I can take all the time he needs. I don't plan on going anywhere. I want to get to know him at his own pace. "
