oh wow, i've actuly put alot of thought into that ^_^
I'd enjoy myself for the first few hours, enjoying everything, and taking in everything, after the initial euphoria wore off, the gravity of my situation would sink in, and i'd probably panic for about 2 minutes, then i'd try to complete the story and not die in the process (Have you ever read inkspell/inkheart? amazing books)

Well, that depends on the book. If it was, say, Call of Cthulhu, I might kill myself and be spared impending doom.
