Has anyone ever played slots and noticed how your avatar looked at the top? I played this morning and there I sat totally bald and with my sunglasses on. I was wearing the pink hair from my magical girl and it didn't show up. Has this happened to anyone else question rofl rofl rofl

Mine appears just fine when I've played slots. Maybe your pink hair is too light to show up there?

Yeah, I've had that sort of thing happen. It's like there's some sort of glitch with certain items in different areas. blaugh That had to be a funny shock to see yourself bald as can be, huh? AT least you had some glasses on!

MojinR Here's to the promise of a better tomorrow for the world. It is definitely uplifting to have that glimmer of hope that things can be turned around, and the future is not as dismal as predicted. There is so much to be done. Has anyone taken steps towards a greener way of living? I'd just love to get a solar panel. Wouldn't that just be something if the electric company ended up owing you money!?

We all have to do our part in keeping this planet going, but the decision belongs to God, He's the one that's in control. I wish our government would drill for oil in this country, they know the oil is there, I don't know why they want us dependent on foreign oil. It would be different if the oil wasn't there but it is. This country needs to stand on it on two feet and not depend on any other country. We used to be that way and it was wonderful. I can remember when this country was great, and I want that back for my grandchildren and yours too.

Solar and Wind Power... that's awesome. I wish more big companies would do that!
And isn't the key to a successful country to export more than import? I wonder how much any other countries actually depend on out production of anything the way we depend on them?
I agree, Miss Abigal. I was raised being taught that this is the best country in the world, and while it's great that other countries are moving on up, it would be nice to see our country refine it's ways to maintain high standards for the whole world to live up to. Lord knows most of us do not go without necessary things. We have it much easier that the people who settled this place! now it's our turn to do some improvements.
I remember my Great Grandmother. She lived through the Depression. And let me tell you... she didn't throw away anything! Everything was either reused or repaired. Aw, now I'm thinking about her good home cooking! Leftovers never went to waste either! xd

A stunning senior moment
Apparently, a self-important college freshman attending a recent football game took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
'You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one ', the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. The young people of today grew up with;
Television Jet planes Space travel Man walking on the moon Our space probes have visited Mars We have nuclear energy, ships and electric and hydrogen cars Cell phones Computers with light-speed processing...and more. '
After a brief silence, the senior citizen responded as follows: 'You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young ........so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little cuss, what are you doing for the next generation?

That was good ~ hopefully this next generation steps and works with the older generation to invent some clean green energy sources that help us lose our dependency on other countries for energy that isn't so good for our planet...
And yes, while I didn't vote for Obama ~ I support him as our new president. He'll be in my prayers ~ hoping that the Big Guy Beyond the Stars guides him in making wise decisions that are good for the people ~ both those in our homeland, and in working with those across the globe in finding ways to protect this little planet we call home.

Dang it. I was going to make a point about security for Obama. So I reserched it and the evidence, I thought I had to back it up, disappeared.

I think we are raising a generation that is very lazy. I look at my own grandchildren and they are so lazy, don't have any chores to do or responsibilities. I tell my children this all the time, give them kids something to be responsible for or you are going to have to live with the consequences. This hold true with most of the kids today, I think the worst thing ever invented was TV, and now with the video games with it, they don't use their imaginations at all. We're raising a bunch of spoiled brats who won't be able to think for themselves, that's why there hasn't been any more inventions since the 30-40-50"s. Each generation gets a little worse, that's why there is so many on welfare today, they don't want to work, lazy, it's a take care of me society and there has to be people putting money into the system not just taking it out. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but I think this country had better wake up. I thank God for my parents who made me do chores, even before we went to school, and when we got home there was more to be done. After we got our work done then it was play time and doing homework, gave us something to look forward to. I'm one of the fortunate ones who grew up in the 40's-50's, what a time it was, so much pride in this country, the war was over and everyone was proud to do their part to get this country on the right path, we need that again. God Bless

Hey Vengenence. Why don't you play the slots? It's a great place to sit and talk and laugh, all while you're pulling that arm you could be pulling someone's leg xp and winning some gold while you do it! You're going to have to go play the slots with me some day.
Miss Abigal has a point there. I wonder why or even how it is that each generation has had less chores? But for all the uninspired children, there are others, with incredible minds and the focus and determination to achieve their goals that is lacking in many adults. And that gives me hope for the future. I think we have fallen into a sand trap that is convenience. Everything is so convenient that we don't even quite know how a product gets to us. Which means that we are living further and further from the earth. I wish we could go back to a more simpler time. But on the other hand, that means that not one of us goes through life not depending on others in some way. The potential for our society is exponential. We need to work with each other more, and expect less from our government. (And then if the govt does its job, we'll really be better off!) 3nodding
