Yes, snow gets piled that high. Shoulda seen my poor dogs rush out the door... and disappear into a snowbank. >_> I got em back though...
Ah, snow. Dem peole down South and West arn't prepared for it. Mainers, we hear a storm is coming and bunker down.
Back in '98 we had an ice storm that lasted for 3 days. Stuck with no power, crowding around a woodstove and cooking hotdogs on it. those are the bad storms...

In New Mexico if we get a few centimeters of snow, its like the world is gonna end. They (the rest of New Mexico) freak out and drive 10 miles under the speed limit and dress in 7 layers of clothes.
