Arianna whooped as the younger girl caught the red ball that Tanya threw. Then the keeper tossed the quaffle to Ari. She smiled widely at the keeper and spun around heading in the opposite direction. She noticed one of the late students, Bella, join the opposing team. She wondered were their other player was.

Rosabella watched the quaffle as it was tossed perfectly into Arianna's grasp before flying after her. When the fifth year got close enough, she reached out to try and push the ball up and grab it.

As she watched the Chasers trade possession of the Quaffle, Dani also noticed Celaena and Nina arriving abnormally late for the tryouts. 'Was there something in the pumpkin juice last night?' she wondered idly and jokingly. While Bella was up in the air as a Gold Team Chaser, Dani was unsurprised to see Alex taking a seat on the bench along with Celaena and Nina.

Alex had been Reserve Keeper for as long as she'd been a Reserve Chaser or Keeper, Dani figured she'd likely be unhappy if Toby decided to keep Alex on the Reserves when she'd waited so long for a slot on the first team.

'Keep your mind on the game,' Dani told herself. 'It'll be Toby's call as to whom gets what here.'

Besides it give the other first year Addie, the new beater hopeful something to keep her busy Ronna figured aiming a bludger at Joel Powell...

Ronna swore as she hit it too short and the bludger turned clipping her in the left side. Righting herself, and rubbing her side she gave a small grimace of a smile, shaking her head, and apparently she had been too lax over all. Well, she supposed she could now safely say bludgers hurt just as much as always. And even the most experienced beaters occasionally faced a hit, still it was sort of embarrassing she thought shaking her head as she turned her attention back to the mock game.

Leonette had backed off giving the others a chance to go at it. Sadly nothing they did stopped Tanya and she tossed the ball at the goal. Pru however had it covered as the quaffle fell into her hands. Following along side Ari as it was tossed to her Leonette wasn't afraid to help her teammate if needed. Unlike a certain Alex who didn't want to play anything but Keeper. Honestly it was a tad much if you asked her.

Arianna frowned as Tanya snatched the ball cleanly away from her. This girl just wasn't letting her off easy! Ari smirked a little and decided it was a good challenge for her. She made a one-eighty and tried to steal back her quaffle.

Addie couldn't help but feel a bit relieved as the opposing beater misjudged and ended up hurting herself. It sounded terrible Addie knew but she was just so glad she didn't have to try to block a bludger sent from the more experienced player. That being said the young first year wasn't about to give in. She found another black ball and swung. She hadn't managed to hit a single person on the other team yet and just because her sister was over their it seemed like a good idea to single her out as much as possible. The first year wound up and struck the ball towards Arianna just hoping to show off her skills a bit.

Leonette watched Tanya take the quaffle back. Making a turn to go after the older girl she watched Ari try again. Stealing wasn't Ari's strong suit but that didn't mean she wasn't a good chaser. Even Tanya had her share of problems when it came to scoring goals, not that she hadn't improved over the years. Going for the steal Leonette knew Tanya was quick in the air but that didn't mean she couldn't take the quaffle from her.

Since she had just gotten to the try outs she probably hadn't had the chance to properly get her hands on the quaffle yet so she caught the younger girl's eye, grinned and threw the quaffle at her yelling for her to take the shot.
