Gorillas, Smarter and if you look into the species, there are Gorillas the size of large monkeys, Plus monkeys tend to be a little more violent I think, or at least in my experience?

Um, Jungle probably a little more interesting, plus trees and vines to swing from where as plains sometimes might not.
