Now Kyo knew exactly what was going to happen, but it was too late to flee. The fact that he couldn't see just made everything a whole lot worse. His hands tightened into fists, and he wondered if punching the mystery person would do any good. Maybe if he concentrated, he could escape.
He would probably have to wait for the person to speak again, though. He didn't want to risk trying to land a blow, missing, and then end up not being able to use his arms.

"No need for fists, pet. After all, violence would force me to mar that pretty little face of yours." He licked his cheek lightly. "So pretty..."
Gikishou heard a voice and his eyes narrowed. He knew that voice very well. He followed it and saw Janus near HIS Kyo. Touching him. Clearly, Kyo was frightened, and he hurried forward, grabbing Janus's neck. "You have less than five seconds to let go of him, or the next thing you see won't be Kyo. It'll be a hospital ceiling." He hissed, tossing him away to fall on the ground. He picked Kyo up and sighed. "You can take the blindfold off, Kyo. You're safe now." He told him. He glared at Janus. "Don't ever touch him again."

Kyo's heart was pounding, but from relief. Shakily, he removed the obstruction that was over his eyes, but he closed them. He just couldn't find it in himself to open them now. It was almost as if he didn't want to see the person who almost assaulted him.
Perhaps out of pure gratitude, Kyo had clung to his savior's shirt, and it didn't look like he was going to let go any time soon. He couldn't stop shaking at the close call. Only Heaven knows what would havve happened if Giki-san didn't come when he did.

Gikishou carried him out to the truck and climbed into the bed, instead of the cab of the truck. Right now, he needed to comfort Kyo. "You're safe now..." He rubbed his back gently. "Did he hurt you?"

Kyo shook his head. "H-h-h-he a-almost d-d-did..." he stuttered, slowly calming down. "I-it's such a good thing you came when you did."

Gikishou kissed his forehead. "I got worried when everyone else was leaving, but you weren't in the crowd. Janus..." He sighed. "He's usually such a coward. I didn't expect him to get to you."

"I'm sorry. I should have been more careful," Kyo apologized, recalling how he had blindly rushed through the halls. "I don't know how I had become so careless."

He shook his head. "His strength is in his ambush. Trust me, he would have gotten you unless you had people there that knew to protect you." He kissed the top of his head. "If you don't want to skate anymore, we can go home. We'll do whatever you want."

Gikishou nodded and tilted his chin up to kiss him softly, then helped him stand up and get out of the bed of the car. "Okay. Do you know how to skate? If not, I'll make sure you don't fall."

Kyo shook his head a little. "No, I haven't bothered to learn. Well, I think I know how to at least stand, but nothing else for now..." he answered.

Gikishou smiled. "I'll teach you." He promised, helping him into the truck. He kissed his cheek and smiled. "It will be fun." He promised, shutting the door and getting in on the driver's side.

Kyo soon became excited, almost completely forgetting about the incident. His mind was filled with anticipation for a day spent with his lover. His thoughts then traveled to a scenario that may take place at the rink. Perhaps they would be holding hands, support each other, and practically dance on the ice. Kyo's cheeks turned red, embarrassed at himself for thinking up such a surreal romantic scene.

GIkishou noticed the blush and blinked. "What are you thinking about?" He asked curiously. He parked at the ice rink and helped him out. He was so light and small... he'd probably make a great figure skater.

Kyo's heart pounded once more. "It's nothing, really," he answered quite timidly. "Just thinking about... us skating together." The last sentence was probably inaudible, or at least he hoped it would be.
