No, Kryptonite gives normal people caner. It gave Lex cancer before he somehow lost it, and that's why he doesn't use it in a suit.

Also, Lex is stark raving ******** mad-on for murdering Superman, and it's been revealed that he really wants to be Supes. So no matter what, he's going to want to murder the ******** balls out of Supes. Until then, he's only going to do seemingly nice things to get cash. Or just make it the normal way supervillains do: OFF-SCREEN VILLAIN DARK MATTER!
