Alexandria ran onto the pitch, late for the - what, third consecutive year? Maybe even fourth. This year, though, she had an actual chance at making the keeper position, and a good one at that. Now that Crash had graduated, she was the next best. The sixteen year old absentmindedly filled out a form as her thoughts trailed to her love interest. Wonder what he's up to, she thought, scribbling down the information she needed to provide. Hogwarts was really going to be oddly quiet without the rambunctious boy. Dark eyes darted towards Tobias, who was the new captain. Oh, how awkward this would be. The last time Alex and Tobi had even spoken was when he had caught her drinking alcohol directly out of a flask the evening of the feast.

Rosabella trekked onto the field. The fifteen year old was pretty excited for the tryouts. After another hectic summer back at home, she was glad to be here. Bella filled out a form and waited for Tobias to give her further instruction. It seemed as though the team's tryouts have already begun, and she was late. What had gotten into her that she had been showing up late for the past couple years?

As Dani watched the Chasers trading possession of the Quaffle, and waited for one of the Red Chasers to make another charge toward her goals, she caught sight of movement in the corner of her eye. Sparing a glance, she spotted Alex and Bella rushing over to sign in for tryouts.'What is with those two?' Dani thought wonderingly, as she immediately returned to watching the action in front of her.

Julius noticed out of the corner of his eye Alex and Rosabella arriving on the pitch-late another year in the row-but decided to keep his focus on chasing after the snitch for now and continued forward towards the snitch.

Arianna smiled at Ronna. She was the best as protecting the team. Ari was so glad she was trying out. Arianna felt a pang of disappointment as she watched Tanya steal the quaffle back from Leo. She decided to try to snag the quaffle back for her team. She leaned forward and stretched out just hoping to swipe it from Tanya.

Keeping focused on the snitch, Julius pushed himself to go faster. Just a bit more and he could attempt to catch the snitch. Granted that always seemed to be the hardest part of being a seeker.

Toby flew down when he caught sight of Bella and Alex showing up late, which was not entirely out of the ordinary for the two stepsisters. Toby was hardly a stickler about being exactly on time, but if he let this slide too much he'd look like a pushover who didn't care if his players even showed up. He landed and silently collected the forms from the both of them, skimming them for a few moments before looking back up at the two girls. He wasn't carrying any grudge over the whole flask thing- though he had had to turn it in and report to the Head of House, but he wasn't about to not say a word about them showing up this late. Some captains wouldn't even have le them try out, period. "Is there an official excuse for how late you guys are? If so, do I really want to hear it?" He wasn't even sure if his questions were rhetorical or not. He sighed. "Alex, you can't play Keeper this round because I already have two of them up there. But you and Bella can play Chasers, we only have two right now for each team anyways. Alex, you join the Red Team, Bella, you join the Gold Team. Good to have you both back," he added more sincerely, because they both were decent players, after all, and he wasn't really all that annoyed at either of them, just wished they could be a bit more punctual on a regular basis.

Pru caught the quaffle, but not as easily as she would have liked. She wrapped her arms around it, but it still sent her rocking back on her broom from the force of it. She'd forgotten that quaffles weren't as light as she'd have thought. Still, she'd caught it, and it that meant the other team hadn't scored. She didn't entirely know everyone's names, she realized, as she looked for someone on her team to throw it to. "Leo!" she finally yelled, remembering the older girl, and the fact that she was the vice captain. She tossed the quaffle to the chaser.

Addie sighed as once again the seventh year deflected another bludger. She couldn't help but feel a little useless compared to the older student. She lined herself up with another bludger. The only person on the team she hadn't tried to hit yet was Ronna. If she could managed to take down her reaction time a little maybe she'd have a chance. She wound up and smacked the black ball.
