Kyo just shrugged. "I don't know, really. What do you recommend?" he asked after looking uncertainly at the menu.

He paused. "Well do you want something big and meaty, or something that's less meaty and something that has more fruit?" He asked, contemplating a big kid's meal.

"Probably something with less meat," Kyo replied. He anxiously looked at the time, as if he was expecting it to suddenly change the hour.

Gikishou nodded and got him a big kid's meal, pulling around. He paid for the food, which came with two drinks, and handed him the kid's meal bag and a drink. "Here you go." He got his own and set it in his lap, driving them back to the school. "See? Nothing bad happened."

Kyo just sighed in relief, and he made a mental note to try to stop worrying so much. It may give him health problems in the future, especially since his heart always beats quickly when he was nervous.

Gikishou took him inside and sat down at a table, taking the food out of his bag and smiling. "Well, we should start eating. We'll have plenty of time, but I don't want to make you late because of lunch. There should be apple slices with optional caramel dip, a cheeseburger, and a toy." He told him, taking a bite out of his huge burger.

"Um... Why a toy?" Kyo asked, getting some apple slices and beginning to much on them. "Does it just come with the meal?" It wasn't until after he asked the question that he realized it was stupid and redundant. He mentally kicked himself, since the words rushed out of his mouth before he could stop them.

Gikishou chuckled. "It's a 'big kids' meal. It has to come with a toy. The only difference between it and a normal kid's meal is the portion size, really." He explained. "You don't have to keep the toy if you don't want to, though. You said you didn't want much meat, and I thought this was a good way to get meat on you and some fruit."

"I see," was Kyo's only reply. He continued nibbling on his apple slices until there were none left, and then he started on his cheeseburger. His eyes continuously and constantly wandered to the clock hanging on the wall. There was still plenty of time, perhaps fifteen minutes left, but time goes by fast and it worried him.

Gikishou noticed and smiled. "I'll watch the clock for you. You'll be on time even if I have to pick you up and run you to your classroom." He told him, only half-joking.

Kyo blushed immediately as the thought appeared in his mind. A small part of him was actually hoping he would be carried, but then how will everyone react? Surely it would be strange, at least to most of the students.

Gikishou saw the blush and smirked. "Of course, you don't have to be on the verge of being late for me to carry you..." He didn't give a flying flip if other people thought it was strange. In his mind, it was showing that Kyo was his, and his alone.

Kyo blushed a darker shade of red, if it was even possible. His heart was beating so fast he wondered if it was going to explode. He could practically hear each pulse in his ears. What if he wasn't the only one who could hear it?

GIkishou chuckled and kissed his cheek. "You're adorable when you blush. You know that?" He finished his burger and waited for Kyo, being patient as always.

Kyo hastily wolfed down his burger, just to be sure that he wasn't going to freeze with all the embarrassment. It was a bad idea, however, as he soon got stuck with hiccups.
