*she closes her eyes and ponders his statement.* I know we all make mistakes....however, that doesn't make me feel any better.

*she sighs again before continuing* I guess he cared more than he let on...but we never talked about what level our relationship was on. And then he disappeared, and I had no contact with him whatsoever. I still just don't see how it could have ever worked out between us.

Well, it's all a moot point now, isn't it? I highly doubt I'll see him again anytime soon.....

*after hours and hours of "shock" therapy, her arms are dead from hanging up for so long, body numb yet sensitive to the serious point of pain from being jolted so much, cold from her feet being submerged in water for al ong period of time, her head pounding and her throat so sore from screaming, all that comes out now are hoarse screeches of pain. Trying to desperately hold on to consciousness, she opens her eyes and looks bleakly at the man in black, who has come to his wits end with her by the expression on his face.

If you think your silence and play of ignorance is going to get you out of this, then you got a long road ahead of you sweetie. I told you before, I can do this for as long as I need to. Why keep suffering like this? Why not tell me what I want to know and end this unfathomable pain you're in? Three simple things is all I ask and are the keys to end this.

He walks over and looks up at her, searching her eyes. Mustering up all the energy she has, she smirks at him and says hoarsely,

So, what are you waiting for? You must have all the time in the world, cause as I see it, we're going to be here a long a** time if you're waiting on me to answer questions I have no damned clue about.

She laughs and coughs, throat burning with every breath she takes and word she speaks.

With that, she barks out a laughter, cringing on the inside as her throat screams in agony. Sneering, he spits in the tub of water her feet are dangling in and nods to one of his goons to turn the electricity up. Tensing her body up, she prepares herself for the jolt that's coming when he picks up the rod, rearing back to hit her with it. Before he can lean forward and thrust it in her stomach, his phone goes off.

Recognition washes over his face when he hears the tone. Immediately he takes his phone out and answers it, speaking in his native tongue. After a couple minutes, he hangs up and curses under his breath. Then, he starts barking at his men in Jamaican and they start scrambling around, unhooking and packing things up. Finally, he turns around to her and nearly spits his words at her*

Seems you have a saving grace, for now. Your time isn't up, yet. If I were you, I'd make sure my house was in order b/c I'll be back, and this time I won't be using such a pleasurable device.

Nodding at the men behind her, she hears rattling and clinking sounds and then is suddenly dropped, landing in the tub of water beneath her. Wincing in sheer pain, she lands awkwardly on her ankles and leg, the top half of her body laying across the rim of the tub, against her ribs she'd had broken the first time around. Feeling the last dregs of her consciousness slipping away, the last thing she hears is more Jamaican dialect, rattling, bumps and creaks, car doors opening and closing and engines revving, pulling off. Then, silence*

-meets iggies at the door, smiling at her and hugs her then walks into the MW laughing and giggling with her roommate-
