I live in Michigan and all of our snow is just about gone, got up to 58 degrees yesterday and today the wind is blowing everything around. It blew my grandchildrens trampoline in the next door neighbors swimming pool, now that's a powerful wind.

I live in Michigan, as well! We lost a couple of shingles off of our roof from the high winds on Sunday. 3nodding

A lot of people lost there power in my area of Michigan.

Does anybody know if Gaia has any red neckerchief thingies I could use to complete my Speed Racer avatar? EDIT: Alright, I found a scarf. It's no 1960's cartoon neckerchief tho. sad

Hiya and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Sorry for not being around a lot, but before XMas I was major busy, as those of you with kids can probably relate to and ever since XMas have I been ill.
I'm getting really fed up with this cold now, I had it for 2 weeks solid and even the antibiotics the doctor gave me don't seem to do the trick.
Once I'm back to normal I try to come in here to post more once again.

I just read through my ISP's terms and conditions and discovered that they allow running a web server or ftp server (they have a clause saying if you choose to run one, security is up to you -instead of saying that running servers is forbidden).
I was surprised because traditionally that sort of thing has always been forbidden.
I feel like a kid in candy store! heart
