No one seems to end up hating him, and when someone does, they tend to be bad news for the entire digital world." They reached a large chamber filled with light. (Sorry valdurmon shines like a fricken sun) Gennai intercepted them and led them to a side chamber where they could talk without the glare coming off of Valdurmon's body. Piximon took his leave, and disapeared. While Gennai sat down in a chair near a confrence table. "So how are you doing? Not too banged up I hope."

((we moved out of the main chamber to get out of the light XDD))

Gennai beamed a smile at the man across from him. "Well the main reason your here is because Kaz thought we should meet and talk, and from looking at you I can sse that he had the right idea. You see before all the nosense of light and dark, right and wrong the digital world lived in balance. However a side that claimed itself as evil arose and began to draw the world out of balance. So a different side came into being and contested the first side's hold on the digital world. Eventually the side of good triumphed and balance was restored. At least that's the first half of the story everyone tells. I was part of the group who enabled those who fought for the light to succede, however it didn't end there. Those who claimed to be of the light continued to grow in power, placing the world out of balance yet again. In the end I left that group, and it was destroyed by darkness restoring balance and peace yet again. For you see when one or the other grows corpulent with power, they are inevitably corupted, and spread injustice and pain. So then this group was formed for it was found that together it was possible for a team of digimon and humans to remain uncorrupt. So that is what we do, we search for tamers and their partners who can resist the world and make them champions of balance and truth. I suspect Kaz knew I would have a tale, or some insight to share with you on this matter, so he sent you here so I might share it with you, and attempt to remove the damage those who are so blinded by titles have inflicted upon you. Why do you think he sent you? Is there something else I might asist you with?"

((You know if I knew who had who as official demon lords, the ones won in the contests, then we could see if any of them are inactive. If that was the case perhaps we could get you permission to have it transferred to you. No use having them sit idle, as for Baihumon not really sure what happened there... but we can see about doing something...))
Gennai looked the young man over, studying him, seeing his tale had struck a cord that ressonated within him. He knew a bit of the his past because his connections had told him the tale whether it was from first hand accounts or from rumors and gossip. He had a sketchy background to base anything he said off of, but he was still sure enough to know that the power Toan saught to control could never bring balance to this or any world. So he sighed a bit when Toan asked him that question, "I have heard parts of your tale from rumors and witnesses, but I do not know you well enough to presume your intentions, but I can offer both advice and a lead, but not necessarily to what you thnk you seek. You see an evil that dwarfs even that of the demon lords has arisen from where it should have slumbered for eternity. If it should achieve full wakefulness, without anyone there to subdue it, all will fall into destruction and fire. If you are there when the young tamers do battle with it, you may find some of the power you seek. However now for my caution. This kind of overwhelming power is not something any one person should control, a wise saying that absolute power, corrupts absolutely. While the power you recieved from the demon lord isn't absolute, it did corrupt part of your heart. However it wasn't because he was a demon lord. It was just the power that comes from a digimon alone. It would have been the same story if you were given such an addition by an angel. Now in this moment however your body may find some balance. Those angel bones contain the so calle power of light, and the demon lord gave you some of his power of darkness, and together they may allow your mind to be at peace, and let you see the world without the taint of a digimon's power to filter it. Time will only tell."

((I have a sweet boss lined up for the end of my event, and if you wanted you could join... but you could only have three digimon with you, and only one out at any given point. The rest stay in a special temporary digivice from cold XDD this helps circumnavigate the new digimon partner limit coming at the begining of november. Talk to Cold if you want to know more about the coming limit. Let me know if you want in. Also most participants end up as members of my org. which is optional, but you could join if you want...))

Gennai smiled back, "Well I think you underestimate youself, but as for the target, the demon lords seem to be massing near the center of the dark area. There is a far more ancient evil there. His name is (to be sent via PM so the surprise is maintained XDD). If the Demon lords continue this coarse of action it will be the end. You will need to find a wat to at least slow them down, until the other tamers are ready to engage him. You'll find the demon lords right in the center, under there headquarters. May your bond with your digimon and it's strength guide you, and not the demon's power as you have come to rely on. Also may the angelic influence over power your judgement. You'll find a new balance is required now that they will be affecting your mind as well. Have a pleasent journey. Piximon can show you back out when your ready, that is if you didn't memorize the path on the way down. I feel it would be a faux paux on my end to assume you had not."

Gennai watched him leave, and couldn't help but thinking he had more good left in him than he gave himself credit for.

The knightmon sealed the entrance behind him, and watched as he walked off into the sunset.

((Sure, want me to keep controlling them? I mainly had you leading some of them off, so they couldn't keep reviving and adding power to him. Sorry your PM comes now...))

Toan sat at a park bench waiting. about 20 minutes Hao and Dracomon appeared. Toan took out his digivice, digivolving Dracomon into Wingdramon. "Are you sure your ready?" Hao asked. he notice and heard Toan been badly injured. Toan got on Wingdramon back as Astamon did the same. Wingdramon took to the air and flew toward the dark pit. Hao gave a depress sigh and follow.
