Durarara is an ensamble piece that has a few different plots going on at the same time, and several episodes go from character to character without any one person being the main focus. There's still your "main" characters, but everyone shows up enough that you won't forget about them. Not a band anime.
Also, it has BITCHIN' music.

And, nope, nothin' yet. Ummm it's sort of based around this girl ghost/ reaper trasnporter thing... it is different like I said give it a try! If you find it horrible just tell me haha
