"Hey! I am not!" Sirius glowered at his food as if it was the one who had insulted him.

Lily giggled as she watched the four friends. "You guys are funny."

Remus kissed his cheek. "I know. Or I wouldn't sleep next to you."

Jams gasped at his girlfriend. "Are you laughing at us? That's not very nice."

Lily rolled her eyes. "Please, James. You are hardly one to be giving lectures on manners."

Sirius snickered at James being admonished. "You know, she's got a point, Prongs."

Remus laughed. "Poor James."

"I was just playing Lily."

LIly smiled sweetly. "I know. So was I."

Sirius laughed again. "No she wasn't, mate. She has a point, you know?"

He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I know."

Remus smiled. "Good I don't want to see you two fighting."

"James, have you and Sirius studied for the final exams coming up? Christmas holidays are soon, and that means exams."

Sirius groaned. Why did she have to bring that up? Now Remus was going to bother them about it, too.

"Well Sirius will be studying. Right Siri?"

"Come on do Ihave to study? I already know the stuff."

Sirius mumbled something that could have been anything from "Yeah. Sure. Whatever." to "Bugger off."

"Of course you have to study. Especially History. I doubt you know everything in that class. Even I have to study for that one."

Remus pouted. "Please."

"I know enough to pass the class."

Sirius sighed. "Fine. I'll study. Just... stop with the look."

"That's not the point, James. It's like quidditch. You practice so that you don't freeze or forget what to do during the next match."

"I don't think he's going to forget what to do during any match practice or no. Most people tend to block speeding bludgers aiming for your face," Sirius interjected.

Remus smiled and kissed Sirius' cheek. "Thank you."

"Hey there is stratagy to quidditch. But we practic so that we know how each member is going to act for each play. If tests become team projects I'll start practicing." He smirked.

Sirius grunted, looking like he'd just been volunteered to go fight Voldemort himself.

Lily sighed and shook her head. "And I always thought Remus was exaggerating when he complained about you always having quidditch on the brain."

"You complain that I always think of Quidditch?" He whinded to Remus.

He chuckled and shook his head. "No I stated a fact. I complain when you get obsessed with useless pranks. Though Lily's right you need to study. I know you're grades are slipping."

"How?"

"I asked the teachers. They figure that I'm the reason you get good grades."

"Isn't it? I mean, neither of us would study if you didn't make us," Sirius pointed out. "I'm too lazy, and James obsesses about quidditch." He shrugged like it was just a fact of life that could never be overcome.

Lily sighed. "I'm going back to my friends," she promised. "Honestly, you two are irritating."

"If you do that, James will be mopy" Peter squeaked.
