Gikishou smiled. "It's Thursday, and by tomorrow you should be healthy again." He assured Kyo, and kissed his cheek. "Are you tired? Do you want to hear another story?" He still wanted to dote on Kyo to help him feel better.

"I guess another story would be nice," Kyo replied, yawning and shifting a little to make himself a little more comfortable. "I might as well get some rest since I can't move around so much."

He got under the covers with him and held him, hoping to make him a bit more comfortable. "Alright." He started telling a story about a group of friends, who all decided to go hiking. Of course, they got lost. However, they had stumbled upon a fairy ring. In this ring, they were given food and drink, and danced among the kind faeries. Of course, they didn't know that to eat the food of the fae world meant that they needed to stay there forever. Once night fell, and they tried to leave, they couldn't. They had been sad and cried... but one faerie came and wiped the tears from their eyes, and the sorrow from their hearts. They grew to love the faeries, and realized that, while they hadn't asked to be here, it was not such a cruel fate.

It was a nice story, though Kyo did not enjoy it as much. Nonetheless, he was lulled to sleep, perhaps because of the sound of his lover's voice. The embrace was also quite a big help, because he felt rather safe.

Gikishou smiled and kissed the top of his head and closed his eyes. "Sweet dreams." He dozed a little, waiting for Kyo to wake up, be it for dinner or not until the next morning. He opened his eyes and set the alarm clock, just in case. That done, he closed his eyes again and drifted off.

Kyo woke up to the sound of an alarm, and he opened his eyes, or at least tried to. He was still very tired, though he didn't . feel sick anymore. That must mean he should be able to go to school again. But he did not really want to go just yet. Maybe he could sneak a few more minutes of sleep.

Gikishou woke up to the sound of the alarm clock and sat up, yawning. Time to start the new day. He got the thermometer and looked at Kyo. "Let me check your temperature."

Kyo opened his mouth, since he was sure that was what the thermometer was for, and waited for Giki-san to take his temperature. He felt well enough to go to school, but a small precaution never hurt anyone.

Gikishou took his temperature and smiled. "The fever is completely gone." He said, kissing him softly. "Let's get ready for school. Do you want pancakes for breakfast? Or something else?" He asked.

"I think pancakes will be fine," Kyo replied, sitting up and grinning. "But make sure there's no cinnamon. Last time I checked, I'm still allergic to those."

He winced. "Yeah... sorry about that." He told him, heading down to get started on them. "But not blueberries, right? Blueberries are still okay?" He asked, already at the bottom of the stairs.

Kyo followed soon after. "Yeah, blueberries are fine," he replied when he heard the question. "Giki-san, do you think we missed anything important in school? Other than lessons, I mean."

"I don't think we missed any tests, if that's what you mean." He commented, making the pancakes. "But we can check. Our absences are excused, so they have to let us make up whatever we missed anyway."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm probably just worrying too much," Kyo said more to himself. "Want to do anything after school? We're probably not going to get a lot of homework, since school started only a few weeks ago or something."

Gikishou smiled. "We can always go get ice cream. Or, since it's getting colder, we can go to a coffee shop and I can treat you to some hot chocolate." He told Kyo, rather liking that idea. "And maybe we could try skating at an ice rink."
