I got a scholarship for this school so it's one of the only reasons I'm here.

And once this weird guy stopped in with his female mannequin...

...and bought shoes for her.

And he once told my stepmom and my dad that he had private moments with his parrot.

That does sound a little bit on the odd side, but i don't think it would have phased me too much in all honesty. Hmmm....

I don't JUST have old people, I get all kinds, it was just sr. day today so the old people pour out of the nursing homes in droves and torture us sometimes. There is one lady we know by name who comes a lot on sr. day and DOESN"T WANT TO LEAVE. ~_~ I like the nice old people, I just wish they actually would leave when the store was closed sometimes (those few who brave venturing out during the night time hours)

My compy is being laggy, I'm going to reboot the thing.

Meh, I don't mind old people much. They are just us with wrinkles and a bit more in the way of experiences. The lady I had tonight though was living in the past. She was telling me and the two people behind her all about her life. How her husband and brother had passed away, things like that. She was living in the past and not really looking towards the future, and wanted to share those pains and grievances with others, even if they were complete strangers. She has a need for some sort of companionship that really isn't being filled, so she latched onto the first people she could find that would take a few moments to listen to as much of her story as she could get out. I got a little aggrivated with her, but I also felt sorry for her in a way since she won't really ever be able to move on. *Sigh*

I miss watching Reboot!
