i didn't like it but i know it's mad tv so i shouldn't get mad. after i was done looking at it i saw a tickle me emo elmo and the emo elmo was wearing a mcr shirt. mad tv did that one too.

I don't understand how you could be offended by that. Tbh, I thought it was pretty crap, I didn't really find it funny, but it was pretty well made at the least.
But this is something MadTv made to entertain people, they're not bashing the band, so there's really no need to get your flamming torches and pitchforks out about it.
Sure they could've made the lead singer thinner, but I doubt they did that intentionally.
Besides it is just a parody, it's there to make people laugh, even if it is rubbish. (In my opinion it was anyway).
I think you should at least be proud that the band are big enough to be parodied.
I doubt that Gerard and the guys would get their knickers in a wad about it either tbh, I don't know them personally, but if they have a good sense of humour, then they'd probably just laugh about it.

Beloved Aurora http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H8KI0d2cHw I was really pissed of by this. I don't find it funny. First of they are making fun of a controversial event. Second, why do they have to use My Chemical Romance in a sketch? They are making a mockery of everything we stand for and love. It just ticks me off. That is ridiculous. MadTV can go to hell. Just for a laugh? That is the stupidest thing I have seen in a while. Not a lot pisses me off. But attacking my favorite band. The band that I really connect with, something that really makes me feel not so alone anymore... that makes me mad. It was uncalled for. The band didn't do anything wrong. All they ever wanted was to help people. Not get a laugh. opinion? I love you all MCR fans. Really? Put your big girl panties on.
This isn't something to get all pissed off about and start some riot. It's all in good fun, and it's not like they were bashing MCR. It was just for a laugh. You're taking this WAY to seriously. Not even the band is pissed off about it. That oughta tell you something.

I remember seeing that a while ago. I got so pissed off because of it. my fiance had to calm me down haha. I posted something as a comment saying it wasn't funny and i got cussed out for it and was told I don't have a sense of humor. No, my heroes are being made fun of, i'm supposed to laugh?
Time to hunt for blood twisted

I very much doubt they stuck the curvy dude as Gerard, purely because they wanted to dig at his past. It was probably something more simple like, he was the guy who could do the 'voice', or something. I don't think they'd be that cruel?
Tell me if I'm wrong by all means! But I don't think people should take too much offence. Unfortunately, lots of bands have that happen to them. It's just a parody video. Eg. 'Jalapeno' a Alejandro by Lady Gaga Parody, then The Midnight Beast did a parody of Tik Tok by Ke$ha. I know they're not people who'd be thrown into the same genre as MCR, but it happens. Whining will get you no where, I'm afraid. You just have to deal with it, and not 'rise to it' if it did piss you off.

I agree and it's Mad TV, are you really gonna take the time and energy to be pissed off at people who do this kinda crap for a living? They aren't worth it guys, really.
