Kai looked at her and smiled faintly. "I have come a long way since then," he said softly. "But thank you nonetheless. You're far from a monster youself," he said with a weak smile.

Kira opened her eyes unable to sleep she got up looking at her hands remembering all the vampires she and the other girl killed *we've killed so many but we havent even made a dent* she thought cletching her hands

"Yeah well, I don't know why I did not become a mindless monster like the rest of them, but I'm very gratefull for it."

Kai smirked. "Your heart was to pure to be corrupted by the darkness of transformation. Thus you retained your soul and your mind, even while possessing the body of beast," he said softly.

Nick looks up finally. "How many have you killed?" he said to Kira.

"together or just me" Kira said looking up at Nick with a frown remembering every single one of them

"I never thought about it that way... But it seems to make sense." she said while smiling. She hadn't felt this relieved in days, but it made a nice change.

"Together" He said weakly another memory coming to his thoughts.

"2 million" she whispered uncletching her hands standing up putting hand on her head feeling dizzy but she didnt care she went and sat back in her normal seat

"It does...doesn't it," Kai said staring at the packet of blood. "I've tried to do a lot of studies on the genetics of people who've been changed. Trying to repent for past sins, I guess you could say."

Nick slammed his fist down on the table. "I hate these memories...they won't go away" He gets a drink and swallows it at once.

Lynn was about to say something when the sound of slamming fists startled her. She turned around to see an agonized Nick.

Nick raises his gaze and looks at Lynn. "Sorry...I'm just...forget it" He sits back down ans rests his head on the table.

Kira bursted out in laughter as Nick slammed his fists down "some food please dont care what it is" she said smiling digging in to some pancakes
