Nuri TeaDidikai Nuri I do wish we had a library like the one in Sunnydale, don't you? Where? Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The high school had the best library, with all the occultic books in the back. I don't know which makes me want to shower more- this or the Captain Planet theme.

Twack Henry Dorsett Case I worship Celtic Gods! Because Morrigan is hot, and so's her sister Lilith! eek
Second that motion. And don't forget Lovitar. Lovitar is tottaly hot.
Elfin Brill "Okay, so that would make Ash my god and Misty my goddess right? " gonk
As a AAML fanatic.... yes.
Henry Dorsett Case Aesi A little bit, yeah. Might have been entertaining if the guy had actually gotten to read the imaginary vault. I'd buy popcorn and cheer as demons ate him for disturbing them. The library at my University has a Rare Books room. According to a friend of mine who used to attend this same Uni, the rumor among some of the campus Christian groups was that the Rare Book room kept secret occult manuscripts - unless there's a secret vault, this fact is easily falsified by just, uhm...showing your student ID and signing in to the Rare Book Room.
My college is christian and we have a running joke about the occult library on the 5th floor of the Billy Graham Center.
For screencap:
TeaDidikai I call to the guardians of the East- of lightening and Pikachu! I call to the guardians of the South- of Fire and Charizard! I call to the guardians of the West- of Water and Squertal! I call to the guardians of the North- of Earth and ... oh ******** can't even complete that without feeling so dirty I would spend the rest of the weekend in the shower.
Aesi Sovereign of Darkness Henry Dorsett Case Triste-chan My patron Goddess is Shiva! She's a beautiful, scantily clad woman with blue skin who has power over ice! I've been working Dragon Magic and I summoned Bahamut Zero. Yep! I found Ifrit in the Goetia! My Ark pwns your Ifrit, 'cause it takes one minute longer to summon and its circle is the whole entire world!
Henry Dorsett Case TeaDidikai "Wicca is thousands of years old! We just don't have proof because it has been hidden- because of the burning times!" And from the same people: "Mormonism is bulls*** because it preaches false history!"
ProfessorZed TeaDidikai ~Random stranger in Occult Shop looking at Tea~ "I can see by your keychain you're a Wiccan." *sets it to the tune of "The Streets of Laredo" ...and runs away really fast*
reagun ban Sovereign of Darkness "ALL fae creatures are peaceful and helpful beings!" The Morrigan just gave me this wicked cool love spell.
Henry Dorsett Case TeaDidikai "I was Buddha in my past life!" That's okay. If you're not on the road, you're safe from me.

NUI Maynooth has an ethnic sociology (or some other artsy course) which studies witchcraft through the ages. The library is actually fairly well stocked.

Eshmasesh deadmanjake Okay, I don't have time to go through and read the whole thing. Here's my point of veiw. Wicca is a form of druidism, which was the study of nature. MERLIN was a druid, hundereds of years before the rise of witch burnings. It's an ancient religion reviered by the people on the island of the britons. Witch burnings started with the rise of Christianity. The christian priests were afraid of the Druid's hold on the people, so they changed the people's minds so they would turn against the Druids. They killed the druids, but not all of them. The religion went underground, and it was changed to what Wicca is today. thank you, good night. Burn Wiccan Scum Thread I had to check that one just to make sure it was authentic. That thread better die soon.
Everyone should go look at the Pagan/emo thread in M&R. The above that I posted does not even beging to scratch what was posted.
Example: My grandmother escaped being burned at the Salem Witch Trials. My dad burned all my mom's witch books. Dont believe me? Meet my dad.
