What happened in the last one? I was away at a wedding and didn't get to see it. I did phone my mum and ask her to video it but she forgot. sad
Thats terrible, actually phoning to get it recorded.

series 2 is being repeated Friday nights on BBC3

Minor problem. Out of the 4 and a half channels currently available in my house BBC3 isn't one of them.
Does anything still come out on video? I'd like to get the series to see the ones I've missed. (Not really a tv house)

Thanks everyone.

OK, so...they've started showing Doctor Who here and my dad loves it. I tried to watch a couple of episodes and all I could think was "WTF?!". It's one of those things that you have to watch from the beginning or you have no idea what the hell is going on? Lol.

He's an alien who has the ability to travel but just by chance always has a human form and companion. His space ship is stuck as a 1950's police box which he was using as a disguise but now is pretty funny because there are only a few left in existance and none of them work.

He goes around trying to stop aliens from attacking earth and humans in various periods of time, although he isn't really against aliens at all and quite likes them to live too...it's just it doesn't always happen.

Rose is his companion, buddy, love. She travels round with him because it would be a pretty boring programme if he was talking to himself all the time.

The humour is cheeky, sarcastic and, at times, childish but overall very British.

Try again, because although it has some wobbly moments and dud episodes it really is great at it's core.

I always thought cybermen were more scarey than daleks, daleks seemed a bit stupid. Must be wrong.
I'm going to miss next weeks episode. xp Maybe I best stickynote the tv.

I don't like the daleks, because whenever they're in an episode my dad makes the joke about them taking over the world with a sink plunger and an egg whisk.

EVERY BLOODY TIME!

Yep.

That and the old "they can't even climb stairs!"

I missed it. Argghhhhh!! How annoying. I'm getting this series boxset as soon as it comes out so I can watch all the ones I've missed when I've been working.

All the adverts looked cool too..and the ones for this week. How ghey.

Every comedian has done the "run up stairs" joke with Daleks; bet the flying was to shut them up.
