Yep, that happens all the time. Hell one time it said my Cleric was a level 40-something spearman.

Actually, it IS good for something. Lv38+ "Dark" equipment (Dark Starlight, etc.) requires 20 Fame to wear.

Well, besides those things. I ment in terms of creating guilds or increasing the drop rates. Besides, I have no clue where to ever get a dark starlight.
