By the time the Jashinist had pierced her heart, Kiku was way beyond being able to feel it. After so much slashing and stabbing, what was one more to add to the pile? Her body writhed and convulsed which each blow, but the girl was merely watching it happen as if to someone else. Nimure kneeled above, doing his best to try and heal her. Kiku felt herself doing as he said, doing her best to stay breathing, to watch him. The girl felt her remaining hand reach out, gripping Momotaroโs with as much strength as she could muster, which wasnโt a whole lot. Kiku was dimly aware of her boyfriend speaking to her, hushed reassurances that everything would be okay as he ran his hand down the side of her face. The puppeteer was able to just barely see Moriyama, standing alone between them and the crazy b***h. Kiku admired the resolve even though she knew he was no match for the Jashinist on his own.
She turned her eyes up to Nimure, but looking past him and to the sky as her eyes began to glaze over. Was this the end? Dying at the hands of some whacked out sado-masochist? It wasnโt how Kiku imagined it, to be honest. Seventeen and riddled with holes on the warzone of some stupid religion war. Kiku hadnโt even found what she wanted to live for yet, and here she was about to die before she even got that far. It was bullshit!
Kiku gasped, inhaling a large amount of air as if sheโd been underwater. Life returned to her face and her fire back to her eyes, even if it was as mitigated as it was. โWowโฆ donโt you all look hopeless without meโฆ?โ Her lips slowly twisted into her lopsided smirk, her cocky expression looking around at the three boys. She coughed again, blood spurting from her mouth and down her chest. โDonโt you all have aโฆ job to do..?โ
Momotaro looked like he was about to argue, that the main priority was to get her to safety. She knew what he would say, and the girl cut him off by placing her index finger on his lips gently. โI know whyโฆ and I appreciate it, all of youโฆโ Kiku shifted her arm to point at the laughing cultist. โBut right nowโฆ I need you to kick her a**โฆโ Kikuโs arm collapsed, falling across her chest as she lacked the strength to hold it up.
โNo, Kiku, we need to get you out of here, come on. You need to save your strength.โ Momotaro looked a little relieved to see that Kiku was still fighting to live, but it was overshadowed by his concern for her condition. He was about to gently pick her up and the blonde girl shook her head.
โI told you to go kick her a**.โ She said, a pale ember to her usual bossiness, but it was enough to make the Kaguya stop. โDo you trust me, Momo?โ He was silent for a moment before nodding. โGood.โ She smiled as she moved her hand, rummaging through her jacket pocket. โThen take Moriyama and Nimure and go give her hell, and Iโll be right there beside you my prince. Iโll be fine, Iโll have Nimure with me for a bit. And you-โ Kiku turned to Moriyama then, her sternness back. Then her face softened. โKeep him safe, okay?โ
Once she was done speaking, Momotaro nodded silently and gave her a gentle kiss before removing her head from his lap and standing. Momotaro was quiet, in direct contrast to Kiku. But he always prioritized being at her side over getting vengeance or something. It was a small thing, but it was what she appreciated about him, at least in this moment. But as he walked away, Kiku also knew just how strong he was, and soon heโd show the rest too. As Momotaro walked with Moriyama, the Kaguya let off an orange light as a pattern shifted along his skin, covering his torso as he slipped her arms and shed the loose gi he wore; the Kaguya Curse Mark was beginning to show itself and all the power it contained.
โNimure, waitโฆโ Kiku turned her attention to her friend, in case he started to go with them. โI need you to do somethingโฆโ Kiku slipped her hand from her coat, pulling a scroll out. โDo you rememberโฆ that mission we did..?โ She asked, unrolling the scroll along the ground next to her. โAnd I said I wasโฆ working on somethingโฆ?โ Kiku coughed again, getting more blood all over herself. Her and her strength was fading, and fast. The girl made a handsign and, with an effort of will, unsealed the contents of the scroll.
Laying next to Kiku was an exact duplicate of herself. The body looked peaceful, as if it was sleeping. Next to it was a red cylindrical container with some wires reminiscent of the cardiovascular system. Next to that was a note, folded up neatly with her handwriting on it โThis was what I was working onโฆ Nimureโฆโ
Kiku cupped her palm around the Aburameโs face gently. โI need youโฆ to put my heart into that bodyโฆ Follow the instructionsโฆ and then join the othersโฆDon't wait up for me, I'll be right behind you guys...โ The blonde girl smiled up at Nimure, the expression bright despite the amounts of blood on her face. โIโm counting on you Nimureโฆ I know you can do itโฆโ The way she spoke about such a procedure, there was no doubt that Kiku was not only putting all of her trust into her best friend, but fully believed the Aburame was up to the task. But the moment she was done speaking, Kikuโs hand fell once again, as her eyes closed and she let out a quiet breath. She laid there next to her puppet body, her expression matching that of the puppet.

"Grab the Kurama jinchuuriki if you can for cleansing but we need to leave." It was a reasonable question, but she did not wait for an answer. โฑโฐโฑWhen the Aburame jashinist insulted Kenshin for being weak he would stand up and unleash electric chakra coursing through his body. His lightning breath meditation worked and revitalized him. He was now able to use his raiton chakra more efficiently and was able to battle his exhaustion. Once he stood up he transformed his rapier into its katana form. The katana had crackling night blue lightning applied to it that then formed into a dragon head constituted from the lightning. Kenshin lunged forward and slashed the spiritual katana and used it to collide into the gauntlets while the lightning surrounding his body destroyed the insects flying toward him. A few moments later, Kameyo approached him and he lowered the lightning bolts that formed a dragon's head. He sheathed Getsuruito at his hip as she spoke to him. He exhaled as the lightning continued coursing through his body from the meditation. WHen Kameyo brought the matter to his attention he used his vast range of vision to find and view the flying village. "Yes, Arashi's in trouble. Let's regroup at the Citadel and go to the village for support." Kenshin formed a handseal as his spirit weapon dissipated. He then grabbed a hold of Masato's arm and spoke to him once the coast was clear. "We need to go to my home to purify Kurama and Gyuki." Kenshin informed Masato once it was safe to speak to him. He would disappear from the area and would reappear in the Land of Lightning moments later.

An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitล Otchi no Sumittinguburฤdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibฤ ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
In her hands, Sadayo could feel the corrupt chakra in the executionerโs sword was coursing with the jashinistโs blood spattered over its smooth surface. He was injured, still standing, and it all unsettled the puppeteer from behind the makeshift barrier of her puppet. The jashinistโs attacks were getting worse and worse. Sadayo bows her head behind the puppetโs defense as an annoying ringing in her quickly ears came, went, and was replaced with more of his obnoxious taunting. His attempt to derail her was a petty nuisance that only proved how much he underestimated who she was.
He was so quick and his attention seemed to be so centered on eliminating her. Sadayoโs defenses were shrinking. Meanwhile, despite the arena wall damage, Sadayo's ability to see Kameyo and Kenshin's retreat was still lackluster. Although missing out was for the best. โฑโฐโฑI watched in horror as the Jashinist continuously stabbed and slashed her own body and mirrored the damage onto Kiku using blood sorcery. I felt my chest begin to tighten and coil with rage. I could not understand how someone could be so cruel to another human being. I felt my ability to focus dissipate as the adrenaline pumped through my heart. I sat beside Kiku quietly as the others walked away. I did not listen to her instructions to leave her and fight the Jashinist because I was too focused on healing her. Despite my best efforts, my healing was for naught as the Jashinist continued to use her blood techniques. When Kiku used her remaining strength to reveal the bizarre life core set up to me I became confused. I read the instructions intently and quietly. I leaned down and kissed Kiku on the forehead before the spark of life left her eyes. Despite the tremor in my hands and the tears rolling from my eyes, I had the focus to reach into her lacerated chest and pull out her still-beating heart. This pound of flesh that I held in my hand was so fragile and yet was the key to Kiku's life. I quickly placed it into the canister and imbued it with some of my own chakra and some of Kiku's chakra. "Come on..." I whispered under my breath as I continued to place her vital organs into the life core. I used the technique to transfer her chakra as well as her life force into the core before it was fully transferred into the marionette. Once it was done, I stared at Kiku's lifeless body in parallel with the puppet intently. I slammed my hand down onto the life core in her chest to start it up. I waited patiently to see if this strange "human puppet" exoskeleton contraption actually worked.

Class Information First Class: Medical โฑโฐโฑ Maladies Physician โ Shinobi of this discipline are experts in iryojutsu and are especially well-versed in afflictions. Their medical techniques cure all symptoms of status effects applied to the user, rather than where most of the techniques cure them one at a time. In addition, medical techniques which inflict a status may inflict three different applications of the status, rather than just one. The user's crafted poisons also carry this property. The shinobi also obtains 5 custom techniques for medical ninjutsu as well as a Medical Ninjutsu Keystone technique. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. Credit where it was due - as much as he liked to charge in, the Hyuga at least had something else up his sleeve. Heโd already tried multiple approaches twice, she just wanted to see if he managed to iterate on the pattern in an interesting manner. Or at least interesting for one nameless member of a whole gaggle of cannon fodder. In this regard the Oinin was not disappointed. Sheโd expected a different style of taijutsu, maybe a bit of range, but at least from the corner of her eye sheโd gotten both Ninjutsu and some kind of transformation. A more clever approach might have actually gotten him a better result than close, which was quite an overachievement considering he was out here to take one for the team. Heโd even pushed her to the edge of what she was capable of responding to on her own.
Cere's tattooed hands snapped their palms rearward and a wave of explosive force enveloped the space where the Hyuga stood. The moth part of that Hyuga mentality drawing him into the fire again as sheโd expected. All the speed in the world wouldnโt get his hands to her back when a twist of her wrist could level an entire block and she was a step ahead of him. He'd shown himself capable of pushing her despite the strategic mistakes though, at least a little further than your average goon. Hell, most of the people she hunted didnโt even tickle the part of her brain that made things explode. Even the JUEI had to run her around for an hour first. Whether or not that was a good thing probably depended on perspective, and she was about to take a shot at changing his. "HA HA! HELL YEAH!" Coda's voice, or rather Cere's, was a growl of primal enthusiasm in the dissipating cloud of dust - her tattoos shifting just out of sight beneath her clothes as she reveled in the chance to stretch her legs.
More waves of smoke engulfed the immediate area as three of the bats sprang forth from Echo Caverns. Two sets of massive wings whipping the already chaotic scene into even more of a frenzy. โNow letโs see how you deal with a real predator!โ Cere barked with an anticipatory flair as the two bats overhead let out a pair of ear splitting screeches. Barring cowardly flight, there was nowhere to hide and with his pace sheโd likely catch him quite exposed. Esmeraldeโs voice would plunge the man into the relative darkness of those not touched by the hands of the ur-god; and, more importantly, into the chaotic grasp of the great sageโs least reverent successor. Caineโs would inflict upon the Jashinist the wrath of ล-Inari, paralyzing pain even if he was incapable of feeling it himself. The last of the bats sauntered up to Coda in her human form, wrapping herself suggestively over one of the masked womanโs shoulders even as ล-Inariโs gift consumed the Chunin. These b*****d children of the shinobi world thought themselves invincible, but the one she found hadnโt survived the experiment that got the information she needed to get here. The Hyuga was so far a bit more resilient, but she wasnโt playing tag anymore and out of everyone that had shown up to deal with the invaders the Yozen was likely the only one that could match the intensity of their bloodlust.
Coda was an Oinin because she liked it. She reveled in it as a sign of ล-Inariโs favor. Perhaps a couple of the others would snuff out an opponent without thinking twice; but none would orchestrate it with the devotion she would, or turn a blade on their shinobi brethren without a hint of hesitation. She counted none here as companions, not even the bunraku woman she ostensibly reported to. Lahlil had changed that for a time, and Coda had gotten her just deserts - a lesson sheโd needed to learn before figuring out her place in a world where ล-Inariโs gifts revealed themselves with a depth sheโd never experienced before. Sheโd as soon put a spike through the hearts of every ninja stomping around Takijinsei as draw a breath. Hell, even better theyโd asked her to do just that. It was her damn job. They kept her in good supply of arms and offerings, in exchange for the promise that sheโd reduce them to a memory if they stepped out of line. Speaking of reduction, this Hyuga had a bit too much sight left, and she was oh such a fan of irony. She fished a senbon out of a pouch at her side, twirling it between her fingers effortlessly as she tipped her mask up ever so slightly. A gout of pitch black ash engulfed the area around them, black lips curling into a cruel smirk as her visage transitioned to the white of the mask again.
Esmeraldeโs echolocation bounced down from above, painting a picture the ash cloud couldnโt interrupt, as Cere stepped into the almost impossible darkness. A senbon flew for one of the Hyugaโs knees an instant later. Even if by some miracle his god spared him and he escaped her jutsu, he might find his sight was no longer an asset.

Ability: Siren Celeste is capable of turning into a human woman that is found to be one of the most beautiful woman people have seen. The henge is considered perfect as no dojutsu can see through it. As the woman she her beauty entices any who can hear or see her figure, causing what is effectively an A-rank enchantement genjutsu that turns those who fall under its spell to become allies of Celeste and her summoner. This ally will defend Celeste and her summoner at all costs until an equal strength kai is used, and is not effected by the opponents sexuality. This effect is also not broken by placing a genjutsu on the target or by the draining effects of the bats. Once broken, this effect has a three post duration before it may affect the same target again.

This genjutsu is such that it has the capability of affecting as many people as can hear it. For each target the effect is the same, they are suddenly put into extreme pain as if every nerve is firing off their pain response trigger all at once. This pain is so intense that it is paralytic, freezing the target permanently in place. however, as it is a genjutsu it is not effected by physical means to end or even ignore or it, and must be ended by a kai of S-rank. Additionally, each target struck with this effect also bolsters Caine's power, as he delights in his enemies suffering. Each living target ( clones included ) who are affected by this jutsu count as a [ 1 ] stat point increase to his strength. This effect can push his stat cap temporarily up to 9 maximum, for a duration of five posts.

[ Flowing Arts Training | Available | Cooldown 0/3 ] Once every [3] posts, the user may utilize an offensive technique that targets a specific part of the target's body that would disrupt their attack. This offensive attack deals damage regularly but allows the user to use their remaining activations as offensive as well.
[ Kyotoryuu Training | Available | Duration 0/2 | Cooldown 0/3 ] The Kyotouryuu practitioner can now react to an opponent by converting their speed into an agility boost for [2] posts with a [3] post cooldown. This requires no activation or resource cost.

The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold. ------- The Kaiser Armor now causes searing burns upon contact that blister due to the crackling chakra. The user's strength and speed are increased by [1] point per rank of the armor. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while the armor is active create shock waves [5] feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
[ Mirror Image Arts Training ] The user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ------- The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.

The genjutsu that Shikarie cast wasn't very strong but, it did give inohachi enough time land her own technique. Chosuke then started to barrel towards the trio with the trademark Akamichi technique. That went smoother than expected. Too smooth in fact. The point to why she used the genjutsu wasn't just because she wanted to help increase the chances Inohachi's technique would land but, she did was because she wanted to see how the opponents reacted. Sure, she had higher level genjutsu she could have used, but rule number one in battle was to never use you best jutsu right out of the gates. If you did that, it's basically the equivalent to throwing in the towel. It quickly became clear that she should have used a stronger jutsu because her trap and been broken quickly.
One of the opponents made a comment, complaining about who they got paired up with them. He had dark black hair and sighed and formed a hand sign releasing himself and his comrade from Inohachi's clutches. 'What's that supposed to mean?' she thought it seemed like an odd choice of words. The blonde of the group broke the genjutsu Shikarie had cast. It was what he did next that caught her by surprise. The male's shadow extended and was aimed directly at Chosuke.'That's-' The dark skined girl enlarged her arm and targeted Inohachi"You two! Get back!" She would shout from the tree from which she stood. Acting as quickly as she could Shikarie pulled out three Kunai. Infusing them with her chakra she quickly threw them at the three opponents. The kunai would appear to miss their target as they wouldn't make any physical contact to their bodies. Shikarie was aiming for their shadows instead. The moment the Kunai would peirce their shadows their movements would become stiff making them immobile. But just as the kunai were about to land the blonde one vanished from her position.
'Where did she go?!' She thought to herself. This whole thing was turning out to be a huge pain in her a**. It had become clear that they were fighting members of their own clan. A battle to see who was the superior Ino-Shika-Cho. If Chosuke was facing the Nara and Inohachi was facing the Akamichi then that left the Yamanaka for herself. "s**t!" She audibly said the moment she realized her mind was going to be the target. The blonde appeared to Shikarie's right. Her eyes widened as she made eye contact. Shikarie didn't have enough time to counter.'They're clansmen' These were the last words Shikarie would transmit to her teammate before the Yamanaka cast her jutsu on her.

When used within the Ino-Shika formation then this duration is increased by two, for a total length of three posts.
- Description: By infusing a blade, or any physical object with their chakra, the Nara may extend their shadow possession technique to it. If at anytime the user is then able to use this weapon(s) to pierce the enemies' shadow, it will inflict the shadow possession jutsu. This possession follows the same restrictions and breaking method as it's predecessor, with the only exception being that the user is not able to control the target's movement at all. Instead the enemy is locked in place. Objects that have this chakra place inside of them cannot be prepped before a battle, however, once this jutsu is used it lasts indefinitely until a successful application.
tab Moriyama's eyes narrowed as the cultist began to heckle him. "Oh yeah? Just try and get past me and see just how well I can keep pace!" he called back to her. Having taken the time to study her movements based on her previous attacks, he felt relatively prepared for her to advance on her. He knew he didn't really stand a chance of overpowering her, but if he kept his wits about him, he might just be able to hold her off long enough for Nimure to do his thing. Unfortunately, all his planning would prove fruitless, as the cultist used the blade in her hand to impale herself. At first, Moriyama was greatly confused, not understanding why she would would do such a thing. But then he heard them, the agonizing shrieks from Kiku. Looking back over his shoulder, he saw as Kiku began to show signs of the same wound, only she seemed to the only experiencing any pain. "NO!" he cried out, rushing to his teammates' side. He didn't understand what was happening but whatever it was, it was killing Kiku and he was powerless to stop it.
tab Falling to his knees, Moriyama looked down on Kiku as she clung to life. He wanted to beg Nimure to do something to save her, but one look at his friend's desperate expression told him that there was noting more that could be done. "Dammit." he swore under his breath, pounding his fist into the ground. It was difficult for him to listen to Kiku's words, telling them to continue the fight when all they wanted to do flee far from here. But she was right though. This cultist still posed a threat to the village and it was their responsibility to stop her, no matter what. "Jeez. Even with a bunch of holes in your chest, you still manage to find the strength to boss us around." Moriyama joked. He wanted to help cut some of the tension, if only for his own sake, but there was a notable pain to his tone, choking ever so slightly on his words as he spoke. With that, Moriyama rose to his feet along with Momotaro and turned to face the cultist once more.
tab Walking along side Momotaro, Moriyama watched as his teammate began to transform. 'This must be part of his clan's techniques.' he thought. Whatever it was, it looked like the guy was powering up for something big. If this was the case then it seemed that his best course of action would be to try to draw the cultist's attention and create an opening for Momotaro to strike. "Hey! You want to see just how fast I can go? Well check this out!" he called out to her, taking a few steps out ahead of Momotaro. He then took off in dead sprint, heading straight for the cultist. Normally, he was already fairly fast, but in this instance, he chose to push his body to its absolute limit {Whirlwind Movement | Rank C | Simple}. With his momentum, he leapt into the air, launching himself at the woman to as if he were going to tackle her. However, he had a trick up his sleeve. Just when it seemed his tackle was going to fall short Thwack suddenly appeared back in his hand in a puff of smoke {Tethered Blade | Rank E}. By plunging his sword into the ground, he was able to whip his body around, aiming a devastating kick at the cultist's side {Centrifuge Strike | Rank A | Simple}. Based on how fast she was moving earlier, he imagined his speed still paled in comparison to her own, but he hoped that the bit of trickery he employed might be just enough to throw catch her off guard. If nothing else, it might give Momotaro the opening he needed to strike her down.

Okay, so things weren't exactly going all that well for Yui. Any attempting at pacifying this Jashinist resulted in her simply casting off the techniques as if they were just annoyances. Her wind palm technique would be dissipated by the attacker's Katon jutsu and retaliated in full. A circle of flame surrounded them, Yui feeling the intensity of the heat dealing some burn damage towards her. The battle raged on while the circle of fire danced around the child, Yui looking to her left just in time to catch sight of a bird speeding towards her at rapid speeds. The resulting explosions was enough to bounce her back several feet. She lied still for a moment but forced herself up onto her two feet once more. Bringing both hands together, she summoned her salamander puppet and quickly attached chakra string towards it with both hands as it fell under her control. She focused upon herself deep within her yinton and would hold her hands over the wounds she had, quickly casting a quick healing hands technique. On the offensive now, the genin would perform several hand seals and suddenly flash her chakra at the target, as electric currents from her feet would rush at the shadowy figure. At the same time, she yanked her puppet forward as its tail clicked and extended to a foot in length, then would draw near the Jashinist before swinging its poisonous tail to try and corner her into taking at least one attack.

The jashinists Miki found herself encountering were a lot stronger than the young girl could have ever anticipated, but Miki wasn't one to back out of a fight just because they seemed so strong. After all, it seemed a majority of the konoha shinobi surrounding her were capable, so she had to prove she could just be as capable. The jashinists released fiery crystal shuriken upon her from one of their other techniques meant for Sonyo. Miki immediately drew her katana, chakra permeating the surface of the blade as it was drew. Upon it being fully pulled out of it's sheath, Miki would use the chakra to bring a rock wall up in front of her to protect her from the various shuriken. As each Shuriken collided with the wall, it would slowly lose it's durability until the last of the shuriken finally resulted in the wall crumbling in front of Miki. Miki was quick to counter as she infused her blade with chakra once again. With a swipe of her blade towards the crystal wall, a sink hole would open up directly under it. Anyone directly on or around the wall would find themselves likely falling into the hole and being pulled in by the technique. With another swipe of her blade, the roots surrounding the sinkhole immediately began to grow into a wall to cover the hole to prevent escape for those unfortunate to fall into the sinking hole. "This is way better than the lumber mill!" The girl would say as her roots closed the gap in the hole. If she managed to capture one, that would be an amazing feat to prove her worth around this village. Though Miki didn't expect the technique to truly work, so she remained in a defensive position with her blade held outward. Whatever was to come next, Miki would be ready for it.

For each rank of the technique, the shield expands ten feet in height and width. This wall requires techniques of one rank above it in power to break through it. โ Ant-Lion Technique [ Arijigoku no Jutsu ] | Rank C-S+ (B rank to escape with chakra) The user forms the required hand signs, causing a sink hole to appear at the user's desired location within the topic, measuring fifteen feet wide at it's lowest rank and expanding five feet per additional rank. At it's lowest rank, a thirty foot area to each side of the sink hole begins to draw in towards the center, drawing targets to their doom as they are buried, the pit measuring as deep as it's width. Those trapped within the sink hole require chakra one rank above the technique's executed rank to escape it's hold. Utilization of the Act of Surface Walking is impossible upon this surface. โ World of Trees Wall [ Jukai Heki ] | Rank C (B rank to break) The user creates a multitude of wooden tendrils that interlace from beneath the ground and cross before a desired location the user can see. This wood weaves together to form a thirty foot wall that defends the user from techniques B rank and lower. If the user is near a large body of water created by a technique, this technique can sustain itself by absorbing that chakra cost instead of paying the E rank upkeep per post.
Sonyo glanced over at Miki with an eyebrow raised, offering a confident smirk when noting her headband before she called back โGotcha, your beautiful senior will show her stuff!โ Turning her head back to see one of the Jashinists at their new wall throw a sun like orb into the sky, harsh rays of light flickering in her direction and having its heat and focus displaced by the flaming robes covering the Senjus body. Sonyo frowned as she didnโt enjoy the appeal of such an indirect attack, especially considering that she had prepared a counter attack and that orb didnโt cut it for what she would react too, choosing to treat the heat ball and upcoming heatwave with indifference, despite the fact the secondary attack did impart its parching affects.
Sonyo had to take a deep breathe as she would begin to sweat and was honestly astonished the Jashinist produced enough heat to actually phase her, the sweat that formed immediately evaporating a providing a taunt more than a relief. Sonyo clicked her tongue in frustration, as her clone that stood off to the side, brandishing its shield between itself and the rays of light and incoming heatwave respectively, the shield deteriorating slightly as it bore the majority of the harsh treatment. Both Sonyo and the clone were awaiting an opening to show itself which would be answered when another Jashinist charged a massive ray of energy and blasted it through the wall at her clone, carrying a massive spray of crystal shards within its wake. As the clone noticed the flash of energy that preceded the Jutsu, it would quickly swap location with Sonyo Via the replacement technique in an instant, Sonyo charging chakra into her blade in that moment as she was aware of the clones intentions.
Sonyos tensed muscles unleashed the taut force she had been building up in the instant her clone let her go, vanishing from sight to most people without superior agility or perception based abilities. The blueish energy that tore forward and crackled, surrounded by swarms of crystals would appear to suddenly stop making ground and almost appear to pause in motion, a split forming down its centre and causing the energy to start separating in either direction and diffuse as it did. Sonyo would close the gap between herself and the barrier directly in front of the attacker instantly, her body turning with the force of the initial swing of her weapon that had shattered the attack and was performing a secondary strike with the momentum aimed at a horizontal angle, with the purpose to cut the Jashinist on the other side of the wall in two. The massive blade of rock and minerals would tear through the crystal barricade with little to no resistance in comparison to the combine force of the massive weapon and the strike itself, the blade able to reach the Jashinist and cleave through their mid section due to its length from the contact with The small girls swing. This whole approach and attack would happen so quickly that it would take until she finished for any sound to be caused, a tumultuous wave of of force thundering all around her with such ferocity it would fragment and toss away the remains of the crystal barrier and anything else that wasnโt deeply rooted to the ground within the area of the deafening and earthshaking boom(Storm cutter says affects the whole topic, just apply it to her and Mikis specific scuffle.).
Sonyo would feel the ground beneath her feet beginning to give way and immediately back up, convinced she hadnโt used that much force in her technique, quickly realizing the other girl had created a sink hole, even more surprisingly they were also of the same blood as Sonyo. Whipping her arm gripping the massive stone sword Sonyo would toss it up and catch it by the handle with her hand gripping from the opposite side as she drew the Weapon back and threw it at the Floating Sun the Jashinist created(E-ranked simple throw), the force and chakra nature of the weapon allowing it to disperse the orb. Her clone approached and rose the hand that did not hold the shield, flicking its wrist as it began to form a long growth of wood that would twist toward Sonyo. The real Sonyo would to the exact same motions with one of her own hands and again expelled a a mass of wood that quickly grew together with the clones initial quantity, both entwined together into a large pair of wooden dragon that would plunged into the hole after the Jashinists with creaking roars. As the dragons grew after the jashinists, catching them within their bodies and locking them into place with many branches, Sonyo slapping one hand to one of the wooden constructs side and channeled chakra through her arm into the dragon, fiery veins forming across its body like a burning web(Timed Explosion.). Sonyo would double back as only a few seconds after the dragon would have hold of the Jashanists or at least be causing them some trouble to avoid, a large explosion would trigger at around the dragons centre point, lacking the forced to significantly do any damage to the construct, although most certainly to those unfortunate to be caught in its area of effect, especially if they were trapped both by Mikiโs roots and pit as well as Sonyoโs dragon โWhaddaโya think cousin? I gave my dragon some flames! Good touch no?โ Sonyo asked Miki with a mild pant in between her words, having fallen back to beside the other girls position so to stay close to a comrade, offering a grin and a glance from half her face, keeping the other eye on the hole and similarity to Miki hoping they had trapped the invaders.

Timed Explosion [ Jigen Bakuhatsu ] | Rank X | Spiritual | Supplementary The user pays the cost of this technique and it remains dormant within the user's arms as they show cracked fiery veins around the wrists and hands until the user makes physical contact with an object. When a target is contacted the user may choose to transfer this chakra to the target as their body becomes riddles with fiery veins as the explosive chakra remains in their body for one post per rank of the technique with a maximum of five posts. This explosion, when released will cause a blast that measures ten feet per rank of the technique, expelling flames, concussive force and a deafening blast. This inflicts tiered burns, burning, trauma and deafness upon contact. The concussive blast throws targets an additional ten feet per rank.
Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique [ Mokuton: Mokuryลซ no Jutsu ] | Rank A After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from any surface, which is then directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose, having an elongated and serpentine body, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. It also has the ability to absorb a tailed beast's chakra once it is bound. This technique can bind either one demon or equivalent size or up to a dozen humanoid sized individuals. The amount of chakra drained from demons is equal to 300 chakra per post bound. In addition, humanoid sized creatures bound by the dragon suffer ten points of tenketsu rot per turn bound. When bound the target must pay the required cost atop the grappling status.
Dismembering Slash | Rank X | Spiritua | SupplementaryThe user charges their blade with chakra, imbuing any bukijutsu slash with devastating chakra that allows the user's weapon to become coated in their chakra. This chakra interacts with any object the weapon impacts during a collision separate from the weapon attack itself, allowing the user's attack to often go unchallenged by defenses in general. Additionally, when used against an unarmored target his attack is treated as one rank higher.
Doton Katana no Jutsu [ Earth Element Sword ] | Rank B The user forms the required hand sign, causing earth to rise up from around the user and form a medium or large tier weapon measuring up to ten feet in length. This sword has A Rank durability and no upkeep. This sword's resources are taken in to calculation when the opponent is interacting with the user's bukijutsu or basic combat skills with this weapon.
Storm Cutter | Rank S | Complex The user slings their great sword over their back, poised and ready to counter any attack the target might throw at them. This requires the user hold this position until an offensive technique is utilized on them, paying the cost only at the time of taking the stance. Once the target attacks, the user's agility and speed are increased by 2 points. The user vanishes from sight to those who's agility is more than 3 points lower than the user's speed cleaving the target's attack in half and following through to slice the target opponent down in a single stroke. In order to cut down both the technique being countered and the foe, the user automatically has the cost of the technique reduced from their reserves in a complex cost. This technique is able to clear up to one hundred feet of distance to land this attack, leaving a deafening sonic boom that causes everyone within the topic to be pushed back fifty feet if they are not the target of the user's attack, uprooting structures and plantlife alike as it mimics a powerful storm.
Wood Release: Complexion of the Buddha [ Mokuton: Hotoke no Kao ] | Rank A Pressing their palms together, the Senju will craft a large wooden head in any direction around them, similar in appearance to the Laughing Buddha crafted in Senpo Mokuton. This Buddha-like head will then part its lips, and will guide any incoming projectile attacks into its mouth. This technique can gain the benefits of overwhelming if the user has overwhelming on their sealing techniques. Once the technique absorbs a technique of equal rank it explodes. This technique can absorb multiple techniques of lower ranks, but is obliterated by higher ranked skills.
Wood Release: Threefolded Wood Shield [ Mokuton: Mie uddoshฤซrudo ] | Rank D The user forms a shield of wood from their own body or from wood they touch. This shield has the durability of the user's body rank at the time of creation and is additionally considered medium armor before it's durability is dealt with in collisions. Finally, anyone directly physically contacting the shield but the user suffers one point of tenketsu rot.

Spirits and things in spiritual form are damaged by these flames, projecting your spirit at her with this technique active would be very unpleasant as you have to get past said flames to get into her. Technique lasts one post per rank and can be reapplied for a supplemental action when it expires if the user pays the original casting cost, the visuals are that when the flames start to die out, she will shake her arms or very fast flourish or some sort and the flames re-intensify.(some visuals what have you)
Wood Clone Technique [ Moku Bunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank D | Variable The user manipulates their cellular structure to wood, expelling it from their body as they create a clone of themselves. Due to it's composition of solid materials, this technique must be hit by an undefended attack one rank obove it's executed rank. The clone is capable of using techniques of the rank it is created and lower, utilizing the user's chakra to do so. These clones are capable of telepathically communicating with all other wood clones and the user within the topic. Alternatively, this technique can be formed at B rank to allow the clone to travel within the subforum and still communicate with the user. Additionally, these clones can meld into earth, water, and wood, hiding their chakra signature and presence entirely once per post. While within that substance they may travel up to 50 feet before emerging. Finally, the user may touch the clone after creation, changing the clone into another technique of it's own cost or lower for no cost or activation, ending the technique.

In the deflecting stance, the user can deflect a technique of their body rank or lower once every three posts for no activation, still requiring the stamina/chakra cost paid. โข Move As Water The user has dealt with so many situations being outnumbered that their ability to move in tight and confined spaces is greatly increased. The userโs blade work is tighter, relying on their body and footwork to generate force. tab Rampaging towards the group of cultists, Chosuke was on track steamroll the trio. However, just as he was on the verge of striking, he found himself suddenly stopped in his tracks, his rolling haulted in an instance. 'What the heck?' he thought, confused as to what it was that had caught him up. He certainly hadn't seen any obstacles in his way (though admittedly it was hard to see things, when your rolling around with your head tucked away).
tab Poking his head out like a turtle from its shell, Chosuke looked out towards the cultist. There, he spotted a dark haired male, making an all too familiar hand seal. "Oh no," he said softly. Sure enough, following the cultist's shadow, he saw that it was now connected to his own. Having trained along Shikarie, Chosuke was all too familiar with the techniques of the Nara clan and how they would be used to lock down their opponents, even someone as strong as him. 'Wait, but if this guy's a Nara, then that means...' Before Chosuke could fully finish his thought, he watched as his shadow grew before him into a series of spikes that charged towards him. "Ah crud. Chosuke could do little more than close his eyes and wait for his impalement.

Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.

He was a Jashinist after all, which only made Alex's situation worse considering that he had been outclassed by an opponent who walked through his jutsu. When his opponent suddenly appeared next to him, the red-head smiled back, crossing his arms in a feeble feign to block the attack that was due to strike him. Contrary to his previous assessment, the Jashinist was indeed afflicted by the Saiketsu blood magic. In fact, the man looked immediately sickly as he touched down onto the cloud of blood and iron dust that made up the platform beneath them now. A testament to the nature of these cultists' will. The power of their god at play.. The sting of the scythe piercing Alex's arm was welcomed as another thoughtless plot formed in his mind. "Hypocrite?" The leaf shinobi asked through the pain before he was flung sideways and slammed into the floating platform where his sigil still remained despite the ebbing of the crimson particles. "I never scoffed at your techniques." He coughed slightly against the pressure of the man sitting on top of him. He could feel himself tiring. Running low on chakra and extra blood.
Before he could say much more the blade that had thrown him to the ground was now against his throat. His attacker boasting mercy. A little out of character for a Jashinist from what he had heard. It must have been a testament to how impressed he was. Or rather, how desperate they were for recruits. There was a small window for Alex to answer after an offer was given. Did this man have confidence that their leader would simply take in a defector from the Leaf? Would they even escape with the Hokage standing below? He had been so preoccupied with his own fight that he had no longer been paying attention to how the entire battle was faring. Once he had responded, a second handsign launched the needles outward in all directions [Electric Needle Spread Secondary Effect].
More blood pooled into the genin's left hand from his injured shoulder, shaping itself into a large blade as before, only this time it too was charged with electrical chakra [Blade Technique | Rank C | Raiton]. The blade was the same color as the needles protruding from his skin, extending from his fingertips in a crackling, hardened mess of blood and iron sand. With it, he began his counter-assault by swinging wildly [Heavy Gale | Rank C | Complex] towards the Jashinist atop of him. His strikes were infused with chakra to increase the speed, and for a moment Alex winced at the pain it caused him. Within the swift slashing of his extended blade, the cloud beneath them began to shrink and the blood seal started to disappear. The iron sand used to create the platform was being channeled along Alex's arm towards the tip of the blade and compressing into a small orb. Once he was satisfied with the density of the sphere he launched it outward [Iron Bullet | Rank D | Jiton]. At the point of impact, the small orb expanded to nearly twelve times the original size [Iron Sand Pellet Cannon | Rank C | Augment].

3rd Activation (Offensive): Heavy Gale | Rank C (Complex) | 10 Chakra | 10 Stamina || The user begins a furious assault on the target, slashing wildly at them to overwhelm them with the sheer number of attacks they are using. While the slashes from these individual attacks are not necessarily powerful, this technique is used to create enough accumulative force to lift a target off their feet and send them flying up to thirty feet if undefended and doubles the bleeding caused by the attack's trauma. Iron Sand Pellet Cannon | Rank C (Augment) | 10 Chakra | 10 Blood || An augment to the Iron Bullet Technique. The user applies this set chakra amount atop their iron bullet's cost for no additional activation. The compressed iron ball enlarges and grows to a one-foot sphere of iron sand. The range of this technique is extended to fifty feet and is capable of shattering barrier and shield techniques A Rank and below while piercing through any additional targets at or below C rank to the maximum range of the technique. Any targets struck suffer tier one total body paralysis and are knocked back fifteen feet. Used with Blood Magic || After being cast, this blood remains active upon the battlefield.
