Letting out a tired sigh in defeat, Rei shrugged her shoulders. Angelo did have a point, though going out in the rain probably wasn't the best idea. "The only way I'd get sick is if my curse went into effect.; I'm a vampire, not a human." At this, the princess paused for a bit, choosing her words carefully. She didn't want to upset her friend at all, for the least she could do was be honest with him.
"I'm more worried about Thunder. He's not fond of rainy weather either. What would you suggest?" she asked him calmly, her expression one of slight concern.

Angelo didn't even blink at that statement. Why should he? He turned into a kitsune, so it would stand to reason that Rei was a vampire. He opened his umbrella, placing it over her and him as he thought about it. "Okay. My truck is big enough for your horse, plus I can rig up an water-proof awning that would keep him dry until we get to your place." he replied after a minute. "But that's completely your choice, Princess." he added after a minute of silence, not wanting to seem pushy as he waited patiently for her response.

The idea of which Angelo presented to her did sound like it would work. After thinking it over for a few moments, Rei simply nodded in agreement. "Let's give it a try. I'll cover him with a blanket so he won't get too cold while we travel." the princess told him calmly, managing to give a small, timid smile. Opening the paddock, she let Thunder out and started rummaging through the saddle bag attached to the saddle, pulling out the blanket she'd kept in case of days like this. The princess placed the blanket beneath the saddle before re-securing the saddle in place. With one hand, Rei held onto the reins to keep the stallion from wandering off. The horse waited patiently, as if expecting to be given a command from his rider.

Angelo nodded at her descion before handing her the umbrella to her. "Here. I will be right back." he said to Rei with a smile before disappearing into the parking garage. He returned a few minutes later in a large, blue pickup which he stopped beside them. He got out and headed to the gate where he pulled it down, using a metal board as a ramp. "There you go, Princess."He added, looking at her. He had made sure that the awning would say up through the wind and rain. He waited patiently for her and Thunder.

Once Angelo returned, Princess Rei led her stallion out of the stable and over towards the truck at a slow pace. Thunder had been a little hesitant at first, nearly stopping before the ramp. "Come on now, it's just for a little while. Don't be stubborn." she spoke calmly to her stallion, gently stroking his muzzle in encouragement. The horse could only snort in defeat with a nod before at last going up the ramp and into the back of the vehicle. He laid down beneath the overhang to rest, glad to be out of the rain. "Haven't seen it rain this much for a long time. Is it usually this bad during fall?" Rei asked Angelo curiously. She had kept hold of the umbrella just until they were ready to leave, though realized she'd never rode in such a strange metal machine before despite seeing many of them all over town.

Angelo watched as Rei had her stallion get up into the bed of the truck, smiling slightly as he pushed up the top so that the horse would not fall out before proceeding to open the door for the woman. "Here you are, my lady." he said with a bow. Judging by her curious expression, she had never been in a vehicle before. Hmm. Interesting. "Do you need help in getting in?" he added after a bear or two, watching her patiently.

The princess once more politely returned the umbrella to Angelo. She guessed this truck he drove was much like a carriage, yet made differently without the use of real horses. "Uh, n-no, thank you. I think I can handle it." Rei answered him simply, managing to smile timidly a little. Without another word, she got into the truck after he'd opened the door and sat down on the passenger side. The inner area looked quite strange, though she figured it would probably do no good bothering to ask pointless questions about how things worked from within. Rei sat there, looking around and noted that the windows were all made of clear glass,
much like in a house. Perhaps one day she'd do further research on the technology of this strange city called StarCreek.

Angelo smiled and nodded as he closed the door once she had gotten in. He checked on the horse once a again before jumping into the driver's seat. He started up the truck, waiting for it to heat up a little bit before looking over at Rex. "So, Princessa. Where do you live?" he asked as he started to drive, making sure the wipers were going to he could see through the rain.

"Faeylin District. Head on down through Eredin avenue. It's house number one ninety." Princess Rei explained simply while glancing back at Angelo. The truck was quite an unusual machine.; Though what made it even more interesting was that somehow with the use of a couple knobs, one could easily use some type of fan that blew heat to warm the inside. Rei looked out the window before her, noting it had been raining narly all day. The drops splashed against the glass like music notes across parchment paper as the truck started to move through the parking lot and onto the cement road.

Woke up on the ground of her soaking wet hair taking in the blood on the ground of her room. She picked herself up, the door to her room open. She felt like she had rested. Why was she awake? She ran over to the screen in the room, holding it. She was naked though. She stared at the TV. The egg was still moving. How was it still alive? Who's body was it actually in? She felt dizzy in giddiness. She looked down though. She felt cold, but she didn't have any other clothing. She walked out to Zoey's room, and picked out a nightgown. She hoped that Zoey wouldn't be mad at her. She put it over her body, and walked downstairs to the chair.

However, when she got there, her eyes widened. Zoey had a wound on her arm. Why did she have a wound on her arm?! Davina had failed again...She had failed again...she had failed...Zoey was hurt, Zoey was hurt, Zoey was hurt. She started to want to rock. However, she needed to take over the body...She needed to, today was the day they would get out, and getting out hurt...She picked up Zoey and brought her up to her room, and laid her in bed. She then walked over to the chair, and took a deep breathe, plunging into the pain medication and stiff body.

Davina opened the eyes of the body, her red eyes showing. They had her on a lot of pain medicine. She felt woozy, like she was going to throw up...
