Dylan chuckled, "Okay." This made him smile, and even almost blush. "What time do you need me to meet you?.... I mean like what time do we leave?"
(sorry hun, I'm out of town and will be till like the end of the month. My getting on will be scarce.)

"Well, if you don't need a ride, you can meet us any time. My family's leaving a little before noon though. But if you need a ride, I'll have the driver pick you up whenever you're ready." Lexi replied with a smirk. She then walked over to him before she hugged him quickly. "Thank you so much for coming. It really means a lot to me Dylan."

The driver bit had shocked Dylan a bit, and the hug was a little weird. But he hugged her back, "No problem Lexi." He smiled and patted her back a little awkwardly. "If you give me the address I think I can get a ride."

"Sweet." Lexi replied before she looked up at him. Realizing that this must be awkward for him, she blushed and quickly released him, taking a few steps back as she glued her eyes to the ground. "Well, um, I'll just text it to you when I find out." She then murmured under her breath, knowing that she had just made a complete idiot of herself.

"Um, right." Lexi replied, now staring at the floor. Then a thought came into her mind. But she quickly pushed it away before it came back. She let out a sigh before she looked up to him, still blushing. "D-Dylan, can I maybe... ask you a personal question?"

"Sure whats that?" Dylan was extremely curious as to what she wanted to ask him. He did note her awkwardness in the whole hugging moment. Maybe he was the one that made it that way or thats just what it had been from the get go, he wasn't sure.

"Why did you kiss me in the pool?" Lexi blurted out before she covered her mouth with her hands, her eyes wide. She didn't know why she said it so bluntly. But it was hanging in the tense air now and all she could do was wait and see what his response was.

Dylan blushed a little and laughed at her blunt way of putting it, not to mention the mouth covering. "Umm well, not really sure. It felt like the right moment to do it." He really wasn't sure if he should tell her the last part he wanted to add, seeing as to him it seemed like a silly crush seeing as he just met her. But leaving it like he had seed a** hole-ish. "Might have had a bit to do with me kinda liking you." He bit his lip waiting for a laugh about the skater kid liking the cheerleader, mocking material for the masses.

"Y-You like me? No way." Lexi blurted out once more before she quickly cupped her hands over her mouth, closing her eyes and stomping her foot on her floor in an agitated fashion. God, why did she always have to do that? But after a few seconds, she removed her hands and looked up to him, blinking widely. "I-I mean... well, I just met you 'n stuffs. Don'cha think that's a bit soonish?"

Dylan was confused now. She was sending him some mixed signals. First excited and shocked, now acting like he was a bit of a freak and potential stocker. But he went with it as best he could, "Yeah I guess. Probably think I'm stupid or something." He got up and went to pull on his shoes. Right now he was feeling no reason to stay. He needed to clear his head. He felt really stupid now two. He knew he should have kept his mouth shut and should have done or said something different.

Lexi knew she shouldn't had said anything. With her mouth, she could drive anyone away... even if she didn't want it to happen. Seeing him put on his shoes, she knew that he was thinking about leaving. Hell, she did that if she was in an uncomfortable position too. "Dylan, wait." She then said as she walked over to him, grasping his arms before she looked up at him, making sure he was staring her in the eye when she said this. "Although it's a bit sooner than I expected that you like me, I'm glad. I can tell we have a lot of chemistry together and that you're a genuine person. And honestly, I like that a lot in you. Perhaps maybe, I was a little quick to the draw of freaking out about it so. I was wondering, if you'd like to go out sometime?" She asked with a light grin, hoping he wouldn't shoot her down or anything.

Dylan almost dropped his shoe. He couldn't believe what she said and asked. His head moved so he could stare at her. "Could you run that by me one more time?" He managed to say calmly, big surprise to him. He finished pulling on his shoe and stood there.

Lexi looked away for a moment, a blush appearing on her cheeks although she continued to smile happily. "I was asking," She looked back to him, staring into his eyes. "If you'd like to go out on a date with me. Perhaps to the drive-in or something?" She asked once more, giggling to herself lightly.
