That is true, I just find it odd that in the page showing products that are going to be kept the same, Plague Monks were not shown. I guess we'll have to wait until December.

Also, a mistaken little blab from my local GW manager, there is a new bit of scenery being released for Warhammer Fantasy, although then he realised that he shouldn't have said that and then said nothing of what it is going to be, but it is going to be bigger than the WF Fortress, and the Fortress of Redemption.

Two pieces of scenery actually! wink

One is the ruined base of a wizards tower and the other is a complete three level wizards tower with a full interior and horrible Empire decorations we've come to love/loathe. gonk

They will be pricey, though I haven't seen any UK pricing as of yet, just AUSD and NZD of over a hundred bucks each. sad

Ah fair play then, if its Empire decorated then it would work well to be corrupted by Chaos and then it would work well. Quick question about the prices, what is the price for a Fortress of Redemption, box of Dark Elf Cold One Knights and a Space Marine Battleforce? If I can find those out then I might be able to get a good idea on conversion and the British price.

Well with a best estimate price, it looks like the new Scenery is going to be around £40 - £60 although that doesn't exactly make sense. It is said to be bigger than the Fortress of Redemption, and I would guess it would be more expensive than the Fortress of Redemption.

Sounds about right, from what I've seen it is a massive block of plastic that easily dwarves the current plastic Giant kit.

Well like I said with the Skaven it will be a case of wait and see. Who knows, if the prices I estimated are right, then we could be seeing a decrease in prices.

Two new Fantasy building kits are to be released on the 20th of November.

First up we have the rather overly decorated Witchfate Tor, which is a four level tower with interior for each floor.

Then there is the ruined version of the tower dubbed Dreadstone Blight.

Holy crap i got the price for the scenery right (to a certain degree) Between £40 and £60, except for the Dreadstone Blight which is cheaper, so its all good.

Edit: Also, Lizardmen releases coming out in November.

Oxyotl

Skink Standard Bearer and Musician 1

Skink Standard and Musician 2

I think these might be the old models rereleased, but still they look cool, and a new character model for Oxyotl.

All released on the 20th November

they are recasts of the old models (notice they have four fingers and thumb instead of three?)

also, oxyotl is the most digusting peice of crap GW has released in years. i wouldnt even pay £2.00 for it, let alone £8.00. its just so shitty.

GW seems to have started a horrid trend of bringing back old models (both good and bad quality) and overpricing them for the sake of nostalgia.

In regards to the tower, while it is a nice and chunky model with a great interior, they have taken it a bit too far again as usual with their use of decoration for the exterior. Personally I feel that it could have done without many of the oversized skulls and the gates on the second and third floors. I do hope that most of the decoration is optional and can be left off. Otherwise we've got another Fortress of Redemption on our hands. sweatdrop
