Nope, my mom says she 'loves Helena' and that Gerard Way has 'amazing eyes'. Personally, I think it's just because she wants to be cool. . . stupid parents.

My mother would start bitching about the "darkness" and then take away all of my posters and black clothes and force me to wear khaki. This would be if she heard almost ANY of my music.

Hi, Lizzy! Anyway, my parents don't care what music I listen to as long as I don't play it aloud. Then they would complain that it's too loud. They don't even understand english so it doesn't matter.

Sockks My mom would; my dad wouldn't. That's one cool thing about my dad, he actually likes rock music and classic rock, so he actually would probably like My Chemical Romance. My mom on the other way, would think I'm listening to crap and would wonder how the hell I got into this awesome band. Whoa! Same here. eek

My mom makes me put on every CD on in her car. god. I put in AAR and thank god she thought it was okay. I had two that day AAR and AFI, i figured that she would hate AFI. She thinks that "If I don't like your music, then you shouldn't listen to it" by like she means like less cursing. I'm going to come up with a speech to show her how mature enough I am to listen to 'EXPLICIT CONTENT' music. That and my cousin is going to wear her down.

Nope, my mom knows I have a right to like what I want and if she didn't I'd teach her to.
My father would try and if he succeeded I'd go out and buy Three Cheers and Bullets again and if he did the same thing I have no problem buying them again because the money goes to MCR and I'd just give them all my money directly if I could.
I somehow feel in debt to them because of how much they helped me through my life.
I love them all so much, I only wish that one day they will know exactly how much they matter to my life. I only want to tell them thank you, then I can die with a clean concience.

My mom listens to them sometimes. She doesn't really mind. She actually listens to a lot of the same music I listen to... I don't think my dad would mind much either unless he listened to the songs with explict lyrics. Then he probably would... but mom doeesn't care either way xD

Erm... my dad doesn't care--in fact, he thinks my favorite (alternative) station is "a pretty good station"; my mom would probably trash them if she listened to them. They're burned, though, so she doesn't know they're Parental Advisory. She doesn't say anything about my music as long as she can't hear it. But she was all "What's this Black Parade site you were on?" XD I'm getting TBP no matter what.

my mom says i have to buy mcr stuff w my own money cuz she spends $2000 a year on colorguard(band flags)
but she loves them
when she heard "i never told you what i do for a living" she told me we have to see them in concert so im workin on it
but my mom loves them
she thinks theyre the music gods like queen
n she loves im not okay the video
which is my fave video ever because its easy to relate to
super easy
like all that stuffs happened to me
or is happening you know like everyone knows its true fr them too
so my mom loves them and she knows they have saved my life when i tried to kill myself so she lest me lsten to them
me n my friend r going the day the black parade comes out n my mom will let me finally buy the cd too so im happy!
