Dani had her broomstick in a dive as she sped through air, closing the distance on Julius, and the Snitch which was some feet ahead of the both of them. She focused her attention upon the tiny flying sphere, giving little pause to anything else around her.

Julius smiled largely as the snitch struggled in his hand as he tightened his grip on it and called out, "I've got the snitch!" He shrugged and let the snitch go figuring eventually it could be hunted down again, besides the practice was good, right?

Dani pulled up short, killing her speed, when she saw Julius collect the Snitch with apparent ease. 'He's older than me, and has way more experience doing this than I ,' Dani counselled herself, 'and I shouldn't feel discouraged he beat me to the Snitch.' Still, her heart sank a bit when she watched him catch and then release the little ball.

As the Snitch seemingly vanished from her sight, Dani stayed parked in the air above the pitch, and waited to see if Crash wanted to continue the tryouts. She wasn't going to start a fresh pursuit if he wanted to call it now.

The quaffle bounced back and forth between the two sets of chasers, which caused Alexandria to get bored. Hovering in midair, dark eyes trailed along the four players although the brunette started to get lost in a daydream. She finally snapped out of it when she realized that the chasers had been getting closer and closer and - Whoa! The keeper flung herself to the right, in the same direction that Tanya had thrown the quaffle. How did they get here so abruptly?

This was the second time a chaser, or rather Tanya, tried scoring on her, and Alex had blocked the shot. Her eyes darted onto Crash in the distance, but he was too far for her to see his reaction. The next moment, Alex tossed the ball towards Leonette.

He hovered silently in place and forced himself to keep focus and not drift off into a world of daydreams, but it was so hard to do from up here. Yet the game chased on and he had to keep note of all the players' success, at some point, he summoned a notebook and pen to his hands and began to jot down notes. Anytime a chaser got close enough, he readied himself for a shot, but for now, it seemed that the gold team was pressing further down into the red side. Then the snitch was caught, and Crash shot up a quick thumbs up. ”Great job bro—you and Dani can go ahead for one more round, see if you can catch it again. We still have another twenty minutes or so...” He nodded the okay and returned his attention to the game. Alexandria moved to block a shot, caught it seamlessly and tossed it back into play. Crash grinned, but any word of support or praise would have been lost in the distance. A part of him wondered if she had anything planned after practice—but another part of him didn't want to approach her after a morning of sweat and grime, likely, she felt the same. Oh... what to do.
