I can't picture that working very well, because she'd quickly notice in the reflection from the mirror that Ovan was peeking through the door.
Ovan watches everyone. It's really creepy.

Yeah, it's more accurate as well. The mirror would hate Sakaki more for that though. Imagine if Sakaki ever met his doppelganger. That would be the only case in which I would pity the doppelganger.

Um, I was thinking more like Sakaki seeing the doppelganger and um...treating it as he would his mirror. Hence my feeling sorry for the doppelganger. If it was a fight over who was most gorgeous Azure Kite would appear there randomly and win.

Wow...I think that was completely irrelevant. Cool, but irrelevant. XD Unless we were going to make character's pants be paired together.

(first, sorrys for the paragraph, it has a point)

the whole character x mirror thing kinda reminds me of a little spin on the narcissus tale i read in "the alchemist" where after narcissus dies all the forest nymphs and whatnot go to comfort the lake over his death, since they spent much time together. and the lake misses narcissus, and everyone else weeps at the loss of such a beautiful youth

and the lake says "but was narcissus beautiful?" and theyre all wondering how it didnt know that, since it spent so much time with him. and the lake finally says

"I weep for Narcissus, but i never noticed that narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, i could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected"
