Remus nodded and got up taking Sirius' hand. "I hope they don't hate us for this."

Sirius nodded and sighted as he walked to the fireplace the Room of Requirements had provided along with floo powder. He stuck his head in the floo, threw a handful of powder in, and gave the Potters' address. "Good evening, Mrs. Potter," he greeted.

Sirius bit at his lip. "Well... It's just that... Remus is pregnant and we thought you could help," he told her, running his words together incomprehensibly.

"Remus is pregnant?"
Remus poked his head. "Can we come in and we'll explain?"
She nodded. "Of course."
Remus stepped through. "Well me and Sirius have been dating for about a month and appearently male werewolves can get pregnant which I always thought was a myth or a twisted experiment. So we kind of never used any protection and well...now I'm pregnant and we don't know what to do and since you and Mr. Potter are the closest thing we have to parents we were hoping you might be able to offer us some sort of guidence." Remus offered rumbling on.

At that point, Mr. Potter walked in. Sirius never could get over the fact that Mr. Potter looked exactly the way James would when he was in his thirties. "Um... Evening, Mr. Potter."
Mr. Potter smiled and nodded. "Good evening, Sirius, Remus. Now, why don't you sit down and explain slowly and calmly what's going on and what you mean when you say Remus is pregnant."
Sirius thought he saw the faintest hint of embarrassment from Mr. Potter when he said, "Remus is pregnant." He shrugged. As far as Sirius cared, Mr. Potter could get over it.

Remus sat down and took Sirius's hand. "I mean I'm carrying Sirius' baby."
"Have you two thought about what you're going to do about it?"
Remus looked at Sirius. "Well we talked about it some. And we're not sure. At first we decided to give it up for adoption. But with what I am the baby could be one and even if not I can't imagine many people wanting to take the risk of having a baby whose mother is a werewolf."

"And then, we were talking again, and we were thinking maybe... maybe one of our families could take care of it... while we're in school, I mean, but... Well, Remus's family is gone, and my family... Well, my family would turn it into one of them." Sirius trailed off, blushing.
Mr. Potter nodded and looked at his wife. "I think I see where they're going with this, and I don't mind, personally. It's up to you."

Mrs. Potter smiled. "If you're fine with it honey then yes we'll look after your baby while you're in school. After all we're parcticly grandparents to him or her."
Remus smiled. "Thank you so much."

Sirius smiled in relief and nodded. "Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Potter. It means a lot to us. Um... would you mind not mentioning it to James? He's... he has other things on his mind."

"He's fine. Better than fine actually. Plus I think we should tell him. You two are the only people we've told so far."

Sirius was surprised but didn't say anything. "James is fine, Mrs. Potter. Um... I guess we should be going. Thank you for talking with us."

She gave them hugs. "Ok. If you tell James you were here tell him we love him. And you two stay safe."
"Thank you Mrs. Potter. Let's go Siri." Remus stood and took Sirius' hand.

Sirius nodded and followed Remus back to the floo in the room of requirements. "That went well," he sighed when they were alone again. "Do you want to go down to dinner now?"
