He took to a defensive stance and circled the game to keep an eye on everyone. So far, so good. The beaters were roaring back and forth and the chasers, even the younger years, were pulling impressive maneuvers to steal back the quaffle. Just then, he noticed a bludger ricocheting towards Reyna so he swung in to defend her and aimed to redirect the ball to Kyson, the biggest threat against his chasers at the moment.
First years are welcome to try out! Please be aware that quidditch try outs run on a separate timeline from the rest of the guild. Meaning first years have already attended the first week of Flying Class. If you need any help, please see here for How to Play Quidditch. Raymond narrowly missed however Flick managed to get the ball back from Oliver. Pushing forward he went for the quaffle again hoping to have a bit of luck this time. Sure he wanted Oliver to do well but he wanted to prove he could do well too.
Kimberly gave a small smile to Oliver before turning her attention back to the field. So much for her deflect, hitting its mark. Thanks to Tristan, Kyson was now in trouble. Having more work to do the second year took off towards that bludger again. Swinging her beater bat Kimberly tried to deflect the ball away from her teammate. Perhaps she could get a hit on the Chasers on Oliver's tail...
Vito looked around trying desperately to find the golden ball, gritting his teeth he tried to keep himself calm. He took a deep breath and relaxed, he could do this.

Oliver kept his vision ahead; however, he did know Raymond was on his tail. The blond waited for just the right moment to jolt his broom downwards although he did ultimately almost fall off his broom (but he didn't!). The important part was he avoided the older boy and continued towards the goalposts.

Kyson was generally impressed with Oliver's work. Every time he lost the ball, the third year managed to get it right back. Flying behind the younger boy, Kyson kept close to keep the other Chasers off of him. Oliver was almost to the goals, and he had a good shot of scoring.

Rey heard a distant whoosh and twisting in mid-air, her eyes widen when she saw a bludger heading for her face, too close for her to dodge successfully. Thankfully, Tristan managed to save her just in time and she nodded in gratitude. She flew a bit to the side and spotted a bludger heading towards Raymond and Flick. Her mouth set in a determined scowl, she flew in and tried to swing it away from them and back at Kimberly.

Raymond once again missed. He wasn't having a good day at all. Taking a deep breath he pushed his irritation away before continuing after Oliver. He needed to do something... that didn't mean constantly missing so that everyone else on the team looked better then him. He could be able to do this by now. Perhaps this year wasn't in the cards for him and he would stick to studying.
