Ascher

We each have our own tastes ^_^
Personally I listen to anything and everything that my ear finds aurally pleasing. If I like a song I'll keep it, if not I'll flat out say I don't like it. On that note I must away to work, Au revior.

Have as much fun as you can working.
Good bye.

Other than chasing away the sleepyness of just waking up I'm doing fine.

Good to hear.
I slept in later than usual today.
I'm used to waking up at about eight.

This is what you want, this is what you get

Sleeping in can be fun sometimes.

So when are you doing the cat show?
PostPosted: Wed May 24, 2006 10:19 am
Saterday and Sunday.
From early morning to some time in the envening.

It's our job to spray and wipe out the cages in a ring we are assigned. Once a cat is taken from it's pace in your ring you have to quick make it safe for the next cat. This way we don't risk diseases being spread. Luckily if a cat leaves something behind in the cage other than hair the owner has to take care of it not us. And there are a few other small things we do.

It's kinda funny the way people freak when a cat gets loose, but I can understand the problems that could arise if a cat got out.

I've never been to a cat show, I'm sure it's more laid back than a dog show though. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of work, but rewarding, and at least you don't have to clean up cat mess. 3nodding

It is a good ammount of work, but because it's not too hard it's not really a problem. It's only bad when I get a headach halfway through the day like last year.

I've never been to a dog show, but I've seen them. It seems to be calm most of the time. A lot of people tell their cats how much prettier than the other cats they are. Which is a bit unerving when there is about two hundred people talking only to their animals.

I believe if we had to deal with cat mess I belive a lot of people wouldn't do the job.

I'd sell my soul

*lol* I talk to my cats all the time, so I suppose I wouldn't really be all that unnerved by that. I suppose it's mostly just the owners trying to reinforce in their minds that THEIR cat is going to win.
My calico really is pretty and dainty in size, but she would be so bored having to go somewhere just to sit around and be looked at. I know she wouldn't like it, so I wouldn't put her through that.

I talk to my cats every once in a while, but seeing such an ammount of people absorbed into a conversation with their cat is a bit strange.

My cats are pretty. Not built for show, but I still think they look adoreable. Kikyo is afraid to go outside so shows wouldn't be for her. Goofy wouldn't be the type to particapate. He'd most likely just lay there.
Eh, I love having them so that's good enough.

Don't want to feel this

Half the time my cats talk back, so I'm actually getting used to picking up small bits of feline conversation (plus I've read a few books on body posture and the like).

My black cat, Arlite, would be freaking out too much to take to a show, and I'm not really sure what the standards are in all honesty.

I have some idea about the standards.
Between reading books on cats and cat shows, helping at one, and watching shows about cat shows I know some things.

I'll just have to see if this year I can go without getting stuck to a cage.

Stuck to a cage? You mean you can't take a break and look around for a while?
