I don't drink much any more. Can count on one hand the number of drinks I've had in the past 3 years... 3nodding

I'm not much of a drinker myself, but there have been periods in my life that I enjoyed drinking. It's kind of funny because each type of drink reminds me of a specific time!
Try not to laugh too hard, because while there was a time when I worked nights and went to school during the day... when we all got off of work late and hit the bar, you just didn't want to wait for that relaxed feeling, so it was customary to have a shot of Jaeger before the beers, then the beers just maintained the buzz.
But that was about as hard as my preferences got. Later on, I had a girl friend that loved wine and to this day, everytime I have a glass of wine, I think of her. (good girlfriends are hard to find, too many become selfish, catty-backstabbers)
I've caught the most hell from my friends about my preference of Boone's Farm strawberry Hill (it has one of the highest alcohol contents of their wines). Trust me, I've heard it all! But I'm not going to complain about being a cheap (& happy) drunk!
My other drink that catches me flack is my baby beers. I just love 'em because I don't care for beer that much and not at all if it gets warm. So while everyone else is carrying around mega-beers, I have this tiny can that I can easily finish before it gets hot! Oh well, at least I can see the humor. Hope you got a laugh too.

Draconian Pheonix 154573 Another thing to add on your list of things not to do when drunk/blacked out that I've personally done... You know those stupid ab things? The little stick that has a wheel in the center so you can roll it around and kind of work your abs in that sense? Yeah. I tried that once years ago and slammed my chin into the ground. Not fun but it sure as hell was funny. biggrin I'm going to have to get one of those things and remember not to use while Blacked out. lol. wait a second... that doesn't make sense!!! stressed

Not that that's an indication that it made sense to begin with.

I don't drink often, but when I do, I make up for it.

Ehh... not much of an alcohol drinker. By the time I'm halfway through a can of beer, I'm already finished drinking it. ^^;

Sounds like another candidate for the baby beers! I remember my Grandpa loving his "ponies."
During football season, he'd sit at the table with his notebook full of score, stats, and bets, with his cooler next to his feet with a six pack of ponies in a cooler. That way he didn't have to miss any of his football to get another beer! Anyway, it was a Friday and I was relieved to be getting out of work and wanted to celebrate. I had to stop for gas to get home and was surprised to find the little 8oz Bud Light beers!
Perfect for us occasional beer drinkers. I just really find it comical when I'm standing by my brother with his big beer. PS~ Coors Light also has an 8oz beer.

In my drinking days, I would have been camped out with a half-case, a 22 oz "sheaf stout" and a 40 oz. I first blacked out when I was 16; it trips me out to hear people talk about blacking out as if it's something abnormal.
I'll have 7 years sober this coming Jan. Man, I don't miss the hang-overs or waking up in a panic wondering who I fought with while I was "out".

I've never had a hangover, just have gotten dehydrated a bit, but that's about the extent of it.

I only got too drunk one time, and the bed spins were awful! I remember throwing one leg off the bed to try to stop the room from spinning. And I remember how grateful I was to have a trash can right next to the bed. Ugh... not an experience I ever want to repeat.
