omg that's me today. its been just a s**t day. worried all nite about my eye. i got to the er just b4 noon and the dr was rly nervous and checked me out totally and gave me antivirals and antibiotics and said get to an opthamologist asap cuz its fever blister and you do not want that getting to your eye. he had me in a panic. but helpful. bro took me straight to ompthamologist. thank goodness bro was home today the roads werent good going up.

the eye dr was much more reassuring. i didnt realize you could get fever blisters on or in the eye. im very germ phobic and careful and clean but i'm human and i musta rubbed my eye wrong or it was just in blood i dunno. he said i'll be ok that more ppl get this than you'd imagine and just take what im taking and follow up next friday. come in right away if eye goes red and they'll use eye ointment but its on eyelid..

man if anyone gets fever blisters be fookin careful! i've been careful for a few decades and slipped up once and now i'll deal with this off n on till they get the vaccine out. which they're working on yay! can cause vision loss if ya ever have it, don't know it. and dont get it treated so im ok since i did all teh right things after.

public service announcement i guess. i hear shingles can cause the same symptoms so dont ever fook around with any rashes in eye or on eyelid! straight to er or dr. i wish i'd realized how much more careful i shoulda been as a little kid. i was in 6th grade and had drank from a wrong cup in school when i got my first bout of fever blister fun.

siriusxm man i looooved it when they had outq gay radio channel. they took it off the air back in 2016 and just broke a buncha ppls hearts. my roomie chris showed it to me and we listened for years.
. the shows were so funny or informative or both! you can still look up derrek and romaine and some of frank de caro's show on youtube! i missed chris and that radio station so i found a lil something like it for now. only listened to a couple shows so far so if they ever have an off vibe i don't know them as well. but oh let me find it...

I wound up on sepsis watch when I was younger nd I am the biggest germaphobe ever, it just happens nd u get the worst luck sometimes.

Yeah there is are archive channels for most of the hayday siriusxm channels on YT which is am forver thankful for, the perfect thing to put on in the background for gaming
Seen a few of the OutQ things, loved when they would beef with shows on other channels
I'll have to check that one out too!

Glad yah getting rested up, xmas is stressful lol.

Been total mania in my job lately, wall to wall sales nd coming home totally burned out.
I try to be patient but someone had a screaming 2 yo for over 20 mins and it totally fried my brain for the the rest of the day.
Spent an outrageous amount on my fam for xmas only for the delivery guy to smash one of the gifts yesterday and leave one on my doorstep today.
Ik ppl are used to then being left but I live in a town center and only have a tiny porch that it directly on the street, thankfully my bf caught it otherwise it 100% would have been stolen.
Losing patience with Amazon lol, other orders with other placed heavily delayed.
Problem with working retail open to close is basically 0 time to buy the gifts you need to get yourself.

Might to one fat order with some sorta elitist VIP priority delivery so it's just done and treated well.

Had a bunch of pasta and then napped for hours, probably gonna game the evening away nd do it all again tomorrow.

Holding out for my solo trip away at the start of Jan, I can't damn wait!

nice chill day. been washing bedding and fluffy comforters. its gonna be all spiffy tonite in bedland lol. got like 10k steps in just playing animal crossing nh and city folk and a lil og game cube ac!

hitting up outter wilds for the bf a bit then my reg game chores. my eyes cleared up alot! it was supposed to get a lil worse b4 it got better but the swellings gone and its already going away so yay!

got some good news on the house too! nothing certain yet but hopeful! kinda gave us all a lil hope today!

Yeee it's nice when the chores are a reward at the end, makes it less of a slog.
I gotta do the same with bedding, did all the clothes today and headed out to return a christmas present because amazon smashed it

Jealous of you getting snow, all we got so far is continued warnings for rain and wind, my town has flooded twice already, our houses is up a hill though so we always miss any damage.

I've slept a bunch and spent the rest of the time replaying Luigi's Mansion, finally bit the bullet and got Retroarch and I feel like a boomer because why the hell didn't I get it sooner?
All emulators nd roms in one place instead of the 6/7 diff emulators I was using.
Retroachievements is also rly cool, it's fun to replay old games with cheevos lol esp cause it's got full intergration with retro.
45 boos down, 5 more to go, spent 9 hours last night nd today playing it.
Think imma be in this retro binge for a while

Yeah the retro achievements are actually really encouraging to the point that I've finished luigi's mansion in a single day in about a 6 hour time frame.

So happy that the cat is doing better. May she recover better and faster as time goes on the lovely little thing. biggrin

Tonight is the night that I'm going to do my nails and stay up till a ridiculously late time. But I've got a very nice red glitter with gold in it perfect for Christmas time and then hopefully I won't have to do them again for a while.

Lol rydia i was the same when I had stitches. I wasn't supposed to get them wet, but I kept washing my hair upside down with a little jug, and it seemed to come out fine. As long as I kept it bone dry, I'm sure you'll be good

Today was more xmas bedlam, started a little later to spent the morning in the shops trying despertely to get as much of the gift shopping done as I could.
Like 75% done with it now, I need to get it finished before mid next week cause imma be working from dawn til dusk at that point.

I keep seeing things about the new WoW housing being a big deal cause whenever I open epic games to run Diablo I get a million notifications about the housing lol
Glad they're keeping the same fresh and current cause that damn MMO and RS are still somehow ticking along, it's rly nice to see
