Gikishou kissed the top of his head, stopping but making sure that absolutely NOTHING kept Kyo from coming back to his normal state any faster. Kyo needed to be calm.

Now that Giki-san had stopped whatever he was doing, Kyo was able to return to the real world. Though he tried to bring up whatever he had been thinking about before, it seemed that he had completely forgotten about it. Oh well.

Gikishou was glad that his plan seemed to be working, hugging him and smiling. "I'm glad that I can do something to make you relax. You really worry about more things than is good for you at your age." He said, kissing his nose.

"I can't help worrying," Kyo said with a blush. "I just tend to take things really seriously. In a way, it's like I'm trying to prepare myself for any possible trouble. That way, I'll know what to do if something happens."

Gikishou nuzzled him and just stayed there with him like that, happy. Finally, it was time to go home and they walked back, making it just in time.

As they arrived home, Kyo was a bit eager to visit the fireflies again. They hadn't visited them in quite a while, and he felt guilty forgetting about them. Oh dear.

Gikishou went up with him and the fireflies swarmed, angry at being forgotten, but a few apologies mollified them and they became amiable once more.

Kyo had been afraid of the reaction the fireflies would have once they saw them, but since they didn't seem too upset, he calmed down as well. Maybe the fireflies would be excited by the news he and Giki-san had to give them.

They looked expectant like always in a silent question and Gikishou grinned, hugging Kyo in answer, which they all covered them in a sort of hug, congratulating them.
