I can tell chinese apart from korean apart from japanese apart from filipino apart from malaysian.... apart from the rest of the asian.. sweatdrop it's not that hard, actually... and i seriously hate it SO SO SOO much when some of the white people think that me and my asian homies look alike.. it's so annoying!

uggg i hate it when people say that all asians look alike.at my school, its mostly caucasian people and like 10% asian, so like all my friends are like all asians look alike.it bugs me so much

It's not accurate to assume based on looks. The way to tell Asians apart is usually by their accent. If they don't really have an accent, you can conclude that they were born in the United States, rather than their nationalities country.

i got a 9, which is far better than what i thought i was going to get. I'm actually really good at telling what nationality asians are because i sort of know their features from growing up in schools with a lot of different types of asians.

Theres a girl in my class that is Thai.
and im Chinese.
we both think we look NOTHING alike.

but, people ask if me and her are sisters o.o;

I remember when I went there..
They all spoke to me in Thai..
I shook my head.
Then they all laughed at me ._.

I'm Malay.
Most people think I'm either Thai , Chinese , Filipino or Indo ._.

lol my friend (not an asian) says that all asian looks the same and she can't tell them apart XD also she mistaken someone else as me XD

The funny thing is that I can remember Asian faces fairly easily, but not so much other cultures...probably because I'm part of the 4-5% of Asianness at my school... xp

There are also the half-Asian, half-other Asian people (like half Chinese, half Korean, etc.) now that can be super difficult to tell at times too XD.

I just think of it this way.
Some Asians look alike.
Some Hispanics look alike.
Some White people look alike.
Some Black people look alike.
So on.

I Hate it when people say the wrong thing. I'm korean and no one like knows what that is and they would look at me and think i'm chinese or japanese.
